Large Blood Pressure Cuff
For all CVS or Microlife upper arm blood pressure monitors.
Thank you for purchasing a CVS accessory cuff. This cuff is suitable for arm cir-
cumferences of 12” to 16”. The cuff is easy to adapt to all units.
For automatic monitors simply remove the existing
cuff from the monitor and plug the large cuff
into the monitor. (Skip to section A)
For semi-automatic (manual inflation) monitors
follow these steps:
1. Remove the T connector from the unit.
2. Detach the hose that leads to the cuff.
3. Remove the connector on the end of the new cuff.
4. Attach replacement cuff’s hose to the T connector
Then connect the T connector to the monitor.
A - Once the cuff is properly connected to the
monitor, prepare the cuff for your measurement.
1. Thread cuff end through metal loop and slide cuff
onto left arm. The cuff is properly placed when the
bottom edge is just above the elbow crease, and the
“artery mark” is directly over the brachial artery
2. Fasten the Velcro just tight enough so you can slide
two fingers under the cuff.
3. Sit comfortably and rest arm at heart level with
palm up.

correct use of your blood pressure monitor.

Para todos los tensiómetros de brazo CVS y Microlife
Gracias for comprar un brazalete de CVS. Este brazalete es para brazo de cir-
cunferencia 12” a 16”. El brazalete es fácil de adaptar a todas las unidades.
Para los monitores automáticos simplemente remueva
el brazalete existente del monitor y connecte el
brazalete de tamaño grande en el monitor. (Vaya a la
sección A)
Para los monitores semi-automatic (inflación
manual) siga los siguientes pasos:
1. Remueva el conector T de la unidad.
2. Desconecte la manguera que se dirige al brazalete.
3. Remueva el conector al final del Nuevo brazalete.
4. Connecte la manguera del brazalete de reemplazo a
el conector T. Entonces conecte el connector T a el
monitor.
A - Una vez el brazalete es apropiadamente connecta-
do a el monitor, prepare el brazalete para la
medición.
1. Desenrrolle el brazalete y páselo por el anillo de
metal. Deslize el brazalete en el brazo izquierdo. El
brazalete está propiamente puesto cuando la orilla de
abajo está justamente arriba del doblez del codo, y la
marca de la arteria está directamente sobre la arteria.
2. Abroche el Velcro apretado de manera tal que pueda
deslizar dos dedos dentro del brazalete.
3. Siéntase cómodamente y descanse el brazo al nivel
del corazón con la palma hacia arriba.
Este segura de consultar con el manual de instrucciones incluido en
su monitor para el uso correcto de su tensiómetro.
