orother Bluetoothembeddeddevices,BluetoothheadsetEM10allowsyouthe
freedomtomakeand receivecallswhileonthemoveorintheoffice.You can
connecttheheadsettoacompatiblephonethatsupportsBluetoothwireless
technology.

Pleasereadtheuser manualtomakethebestuseofthisEM10headsetandits
manyfeatures.
Bluetooth wireless technology
Bluetoothwirelesstechnologymakesitpossibletoconnectcompatible
communication deviceswithoutusingcables.ABluetoothconnectiondoesnot
require thephoneandtheheadsetbein lineofsight, butbothdevicesshouldbe
within 10meters(30feet)ofeachother.Connectionscanbesubjectedto
interference fromobstructions, suchaswallsorother electronicdevices.

Overview
Theheadsetcontains thefollowingparts asshownin thefingure:

Before startusingtheheadsetforthefirsttime,youmustmakefull chargeto
theheadset.
Note:Parts oftheheadsetare magnetic.Metallicmaterialsmaybeattractedto
theheadset.Do not place creditcardsorothermagneticstoragemedianear the
headset, becauseinformationstoredonthem may
beerased.
Chargerand batteries
TheBluetooth headsetEM10canbechargedeitherbychargerorbytheUSB
portofcomputer.Pleasenotice thatitis intendedtousewith thecharger thatis
includedin thepackage.
Chargethebattery
This device hasabuilt-in, rechargeablebattery.
1.Connectthechargertoawall outletorconnecttheheadsettotheUSB port
ofcomputer.Theredindicatorlightis onduringcharging. If chargingdoes
notstart,disconnectthecharger,plugitagain,andretry. Chargingthebattery
fullymaytakeup to2hours.
2.Whenthebatteryis fullycharged,theredindicatorlightwill turnoff.
Disconnectthecharger fromthewall outletandtheheadsetordisconnectthe
headsetfromUSB chargingcable.

Thefullychargedbatteryhaspower forupto4hoursoftalkingtime orup to60
hoursofstandbytime.However,thetalkingandstandbytimesmayvarywhen
usedwith differentmobilephones,usagesettings,usagestyles,and
environments.
Whenthebatteryis runningoutofpower,theredindicatorlightstartstoflash
and there will be5prompt sound every20 seconds.
Switch the headset onoroff
Toswitchon,pressand holdtheAnswer/endkeyfor4seconds.Theblue
indicatorlight starts toflash 4timesand there is aprompt sound.
Toswitchoff,press andhold theAnswer/endkeyfor4secondsuntilheadset
beeps 2timesand theredindicatorlight flashestwice.
Pairthe headset with acompatiblephone
1.makesure yourheadsetis turnoff
2.push theanswer/endkeyfor6seconduntiltheblueand redlight flashes
alternately
3.ActivatetheBluetooth feature onthephone,andsetthephonetosearchfor
Bluetooth devices. See theuser guideofyourphoneforinstructions.
4.Selecttheheadset(EM10)fromthelist offound devices.
5.Enterthepasscode0000 topairandconnecttheheadsettoyourphone.For
some phonesyoumayneedtomaketheconnectionseparatelyafter pairing.
See theuserguideofyourphonefordetails.Youonlyneedtopairthe

headsetwith yourphoneonce.
6.Ifthepairingissuccessful,theheadset sbluelight will flash12timesbriefly
forthefirst time follow byasingleflashevery3seconds.Theheadset s
nameappearsinthephonemenuwhereyoucanviewthecurrentlypaired
Bluetooth devices.
Disconnect the headset fromthe phone
Todisconnecttheheadsetfromyourphone(forexample,toconnectthephone
toanother Bluetooth device), dooneofthefollowing:
·Switchofftheheadset.
·Disconnecttheheadsetin theBluetooth menu ofyourphone.
·Movetheheadsetmore than10 meters(30 feet)awayfromthephone.
Youdonotneedtodeletethepairingwith theheadsettodisconnectit.
Troubleshooting
If youcannotconnecttheheadsettoyourphone, doasfollows:
·Ensure thattheheadsetischarged,switchedon, pairedwithand connectedto
yourphone.
·Ensure thattheBluetooth feature is activatedonyourphone.
·Checkthattheheadsetiswithin10meter(30feet)ofyourphoneandthat
there arenoobstructionsbetweentheheadsetandthephone,suchaswallsor
other electronicdevices.

Warringtheheadset
Ware theheadsettoyourear.Usuallyspeaking,thevoice qualityisbestwhen
there is noobstaclesbetweenmobileandheadset,includingyourbody.Thusit
is suggestedtoput yourmobileand ware yourheadsetatthesame side.
Call handling
Tomakeacall
Useyourphoneinthenormalwaywhentheheadsetisconnectedtoyour
phone.
Toansweracall
Press theanswer/endkey,orusethephonekeys.If theautomaticanswer
functionisseton,thephoneautomaticallyanswerstheincomingcall after one
ring.
Toend acall
Press theanswer/end key, orusethephonekeys.
4. Batteryinformation

Yourdeviceispoweredbyarechargeablebattery.Thefull performanceofa
newbatteryisachievedonlyafter two orthreecompletechargeanddischarge
cycles.Thebatterycanbechargedanddischargedhundredsoftimes, butitwill
eventuallywear out.Rechargeyourbatteryonlywith compatiblechargers
designatedforthis device.
Unplugthecharger fromtheelectricalplugandthedevicewhennotinuse.Do
notleaveafullychargedbatteryconnectedtoacharger,since overcharging
mayshortenitslifetime.If leftunused,afullychargedbatterywill loseits
chargeover time.
Never useanycharger thatis damaged.
Leavingthedevicein hotorcold places,suchasinaclosedcarinsummeror
winterconditions,will reducethecapacityandlifetimeofthebattery.Always
trytokeepthebatterybetween15℃and25℃(59℉and77℉).Adevicewith
ahot orcoldbatterymaynotworktemporarily,evenwhenthebatteryis fully
charged.Batteryperformanceisparticularlylimitedin temperatureswell below
freezing.
Do not disposeofbatteriesinafireastheymayexplode.Batteriesmayalso
explodeifdamaged.Disposeofbatteriesaccordingtolocalregulations.Please
recyclewhenpossible. Do notdisposeashouseholdwaste
5. Careand maintenance
Yourdevice isaproductofsuperiordesignandcraftsmanshipandshould be
treatedwithcare.Thesuggestions below will help youprotectyourwarranty

·Keepall accessoriesand enhancements out ofthereachofsmall children.
·Keepthedevicedry.Precipitation,humidity,andall typesofliquids or
moisture cancontainmineralsthatwill corrodeelectroniccircuits.If your
device doesgetwet, allow it todrycompletely.
·Donotuseorstorethedevicein dusty,dirtyareas.Itsmovingpartsand
electroniccomponents canbedamaged.
·Do notstore thedevice inhot areas.Hightemperaturescanshortenthelifeof
electronicdevices, damagebatteries, and warpormeltcertain plastics.
·Do notstore thedevice in coldareas.Whenthedevice returnstoitsnormal
