CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PURCHASE
Thank you for selecting the CyberPower HT705GR Surge Protector. The
information contained in this brochure explains the features and operation
of the HT705GR. Please take a few moments to read this manual.
QUICK START GUIDE
1. Connections - Connect infra-red (IR) controller to main surge protector
via small input jack. Then connect all power-saving controlled and
non-controlled equipment to surge protector and assure all equipment is
powered o or on standby mode. Plug surge protector into wall outlet
and turn on using green rocker switch. LED indicators (protected &
grounded) will illuminate.
2. Power-Saving Detection - The HT705GR will detect the connected
equipment and Energy Saving LED will illuminate. To reset the power-saving
outlets, press and hold the IR Sensor button for more than 10 seconds,
release and this will trigger re-detection of the connected equipment.
3. The Energy Saving Timer - When the IR Sensor receives IR signals within
the energy saving time window, the Energy Saving outlets will power on.
When the IR Sensor no longer receives signals, the Energy Saving outlets
will power o after a specific time period. The energy saving timer default
setting is 1 hour. If you want to change the energy saving time window,
you need to press the IR Sensor button for more than 3 seconds (LED will
flash 3 times), release, and surge protector will default into the settings
mode. Follow the setting table below:
CAUTION
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK - Use only in dry locations
and only indoors. DO NOT plug into another relocatable power tap. DO
NOT “daisy chain” surge protectors. DO NOT use with any aquarium
equipment. DO NOT use if properly grounded outlets are not available. DO
NOT install this device if there is not at least 10 meters (30 feet) or more of
wire between the electrical outlet and electrical service panel. This device
features an internal protection that will disconnect the surge protective
component at the end of its useful life, but will maintain power to the load
– now unprotected.
