1. Introduction
While HDMI is becoming more common around the world, some consumers
have been wishing for a way to transmit HDMI signals at very long distances.
Enter the HDMI to Optical Transmitter and Receiver which uses ber optical
cables to give you a longer transmission distance, up to 300m while also
providing you with thinner lighter cables for easy installations. With this system
the HDMI signal is not compressed and is fully compliant with HDMI and
HDCP.

Input source devices such as DVD or Blu-Ray players with HDMI cables and
output displays such as HDTV’s and monitors with HDMI ports.

①󳌤 Optical LED: This LED will illuminate in blue when at least one optical cable
is connected and has successfully detected and communicated
between Tx & Rx with video or audio data sending. If the LED is not
illuminate users need to check the connection of the fiber cable and
then make sure the connection is well and the cable itself is good.
②󳌤󳌤Error LED: This LED will not illuminate under a normal status. When it
illuminate in red, it means the HDMI input source is sending a data rate
that is higher then 75/170MHz (Single/Dual).
Check the connections and make sure they are all connected well.
③󳌤󳌤HDMI LED: This LED will illuminate in blue, when the device is communicate
with the source.
④󳌤󳌤HDMI Input: This slot is to connect with input source equipment such as
DVD/Blu-ray player with HDMI cable.
⑤󳌤󳌤IR-Out: This slot is to connect with the IR blaster included in the package
for IR signal sending from the display side to the source equipment and
control it.
⑥󳌤󳌤RS-232: This slot is to connect with 3.5Ø phone jack to D-Sub 9pin
converter adaptor included in the package for RS-232 control and signal
sending.
⑦󳌤󳌤Optical SUB & Main: These slots are to connect with the optical 2 ways
cable from the transmitter side up to 300 meters.
Note: Connector Type: LC-LC, Fiber: Duplex Single-mode Fiber
⑧󳌤󳌤DC 5V: This slot is to connect with the power adaptor included in the
package from the AC wall outlet for power supply.

①󳌤󳌤Optical LED: This LED will illuminate in blue when at least one optical cable
is connected and has successfully detected and communicated
between Tx & Rx with video or audio data sending. If the LED is not
illuminate users need to check the connection of the fiber cable and
then make sure the connection is well and the cable itself is good.
②󳌤󳌤Error LED: Normally this red LED will not illuminate but only blinks for few
seconds when startup the device. When the LED is illuminated constantly,
it means the output HDMI is not able to output HDMI signal. Therefore,
please double check the connection and also make sure the source is
sending correct HDMI signal
Check the connections and make sure they are all connected well.
③󳌤󳌤HDMI LED: This LED will illuminate in blue, when the device is communicate
with the display.
④󳌤󳌤HDMI Output: This slot is to connect with output display such as an HDTV or
monitor with HDMI cable.
⑤󳌤󳌤IR-In: This slot is to connect with the IR extender included in the package
for IR signal receiving from the display side to send to the sourc equipment
and control it.
⑥󳌤󳌤RS-232: This slot is to connect with 3.5Ø phone jack to D-Sub 9pin
converter adaptor included in the package for RS-232 control and signal
sending.
⑦󳌤󳌤Optical SUB & Main: These slots are to connect with the optical 2 ways
cable from the transmitter side up to 300 meters.
