REPAIR, OR ANY OTHERCAUSE BEYOND THERANGEOF THEINTENDEDUSE, OR BY ACCIDENT, FIRE,
LIGHTNING OR OTHER HAZARD.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IN NO EVENT WILL D-LINK BE LIABLEFOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS,
COST OF COVEROR OTHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGESARISING OUT THE
INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE,USE,PERFORMANCE,FAILURE OR INTERRUPTION OFAD- LINK PRODUCT,
HOWEVERCAUSEDAND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY. THIS LIMITATION WILL APPLYEVENIF D-LINK HAS
BEEN ADVISED OF THEPOSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
IF YOU PURCHASEDAD-LINK PRODUCT IN THEUNITEDSTATES, SOMESTATESDO NOT ALLOW THE
LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THEABOVE
LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
LimitedWarranty
Hardware:
D-Link warrants each of its hardwareproducts to be freefrom defects in workmanship and materials under normal
useandservicefor aperiod commencing on thedateof purchasefrom D-Linkor its Authorized Resellerand
extending for thelength of timestipulatedby theAuthorized Reselleror D-LinkBranch Officenearest to theplace
of purchase.
This Warranty applies on thecondition that theproduct Registration Cardis filled out andreturned to aD-Link
officewithin ninety (90) days of purchase.Alist of D-Link offices is provided at thebackof this manual, together
with a copy of theRegistration Card.
If theproduct provesdefectivewithin theapplicablewarrantyperiod, D-Linkwill providerepair or replacement of
theproduct. D-Linkshall havethesolediscretion whethertorepair or replace,and replacement product may be
newor reconditioned. Replacement product shall beof equivalent or betterspecifications, relativeto thedefective
product, but need not be identical. Any product or part repaired by D-Link pursuant to this warranty shall have a
warranty period of not less than90 days, from dateof such repair, irrespectiveof any earlier expiration of original
warranty period. When D-Link provides replacement, then thedefectiveproduct becomes theproperty of D-Link.
Warranty servicemay beobtainedby contacting aD-Linkofficewithin the applicable warranty period, and
requesting aReturn Material Authorization (RMA) number. If aRegistration Card for theproduct in question has
not been returned to D-Link, thenaproof of purchase(such as acopy of thedated purchaseinvoice)must be
provided. If Purchaser's circumstancesrequirespecial handling of warranty correction,thenat thetimeof
requesting RMA number, Purchaser may also proposespecialprocedureas may besuitableto thecase.
Afteran RMA numberis issued, thedefectiveproduct must bepackaged securely in theoriginal or othersuitable
shipping packageto ensurethat it will not bedamaged intransit, and theRMA number must beprominently
marked on theoutsideof thepackage. Thepackagemust bemailed or otherwiseshipped to D-Link with all costs of
mailing/shipping/insuranceprepaid. D-Linkshall neverberesponsiblefor any software,firmware,information, or
memory data of Purchasercontained in, stored on, or integrated with any product returnedto D-Linkpursuant to
this warranty.
Any packagereturned to D-Link without an RMA numberwill berejectedandshipped back to Purchaserat
Purchaser's expense,andD-Link reservesthe right in such acase to levy areasonable handling charge in addition
mailing or shipping costs.
Software:
Warranty servicefor softwareproducts may beobtained by contacting aD-Linkofficewithin theapplicable
warranty period. Alist of D-Link officesis provided at thebackof this manual, togetherwith acopy of the
Registration Card. If aRegistration Card for theproduct in question has not been returned to aD-Link office,then
aproof of purchase(such as acopy of thedatedpurchaseinvoice) must beprovided when requesting warranty
service.Theterm "purchase"in this softwarewarranty refersto thepurchasetransaction and resulting licenseto
usesuch software.
