The torch is designed for use both indoors and outdoors. The
torch is intended purely for private use and not for commercial
purposes or other usage.
The torch is not suitable for lighting rooms within a household.

▯Charging the Electric Arc Lighter
The electric arc lighter is equipped with a built-in rechargeable bat-
tery. Charge the battery fully before attempting to use the device
for the rst time.
1. Pivot the safety catch
away from the cap
.
2. Press on the latch
to open the cap
.
3. Connect the USB cable
to the micro USB port
.
4. Connect the USB cable
to a USB charger via the USB-A
connector.
5. A blue indicator lamp beside the micro USB port
lights up
during the charging process.
6. Disconnect the USB cable
from the micro USB port
when
the charging process has nished. The blue indicator lamp
beside the micro USB port
goes out when the battery is fully
charged.
7. Close the cap
and pivot the safety catch
against the
cap
.
The electric arc lighter only fulls the requirements of the protec-
tion type specied when the cap
is closed and locked by the
safety catch
.
▯Operating the Electric Arc Lighter
The electric arc lighter automatically switches o after 7 seconds
for reasons of safety.
1. Pivot the safety catch
away from the cap
.
2. Press on the latch
to open the cap
.
3. Press and hold the press switch
to generate an electric arc
between the contacts
. Allow the object to be ignited to make
contact with the electric arc without blocking the electric arc.
4. After use, close the cap
and pivot the safety catch
against
the cap
.

Cleaning the Contacts
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!
The electric arcs and hot contacts
could cause burns.
▸While cleaning the contacts
, never press the press switch
.
▸Allow the contacts to cool down
before cleaning them.
Clean the contacts
at regular intervals or when the electric arcs
are not generated properly. Use a cotton bud or brush to clean the
contacts.
▯Operating the Torch
You can only use the torch when the cap
is closed.
The torch can operate in the following three operating modes
which are selected by pressing the press switch

The switching cycle of the operating modes is as follows:

mode is activated.
