3. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Periodically CHECK that the steel cable is in good conditions:
1- CHECK that the screws securing the brackets and reduction gears are well tightened.
2- CHECK THE CONDITIONS AND TIGHTENING OF THE NUTS securing the steel cable clamps.
3- Periodically CHECK that the motor stop switch and the push button switch a

them replaced by a qualied specialist.

13- Do not wind more than 15 m of cable around the reel.
14- Replace the steel cable when it is damaged. Use only a safe, equal cable, purchased in an
authorized service shop.
15- In case the hoist stops during the lowering of a load, it is normal that the load goes down a
few centimeters because of inertia.

’s engine does not include an overload cut-off, so if you are unable to hoist a load,
do not insist and let the engine cool down.
18- Inspect the lifting system, all the connections between hook and lifting mechanism, check
the load, if it is seated correctly. Check if the hook and lifting system are capable to lift the
load.
19- Regularly oil the steel cable and ensure that it runs freely.
20- Before each use check the stop function of the hoist.
21- Ensure that the load you are going to lift will move freely and there won't be any obstacles
on its way.
22- Worn or damaged parts must be replaced by a qualied service specialist.
23- The parts must be replaced with the originals ones recommended by the producer.
24- Do not use the hoist to weight the load.
25- Be careful when working with the hoist.
26- Do not allow the machine to get in contact with objects or other machines while you are
lifting load.
27- Do not modify or repair the machine by yourself.
28- Do not allow bystanders especially pets and children in the working area.
29- Do not stay under the lifting load or in the area where the load could fall when the machine
lift it.
