INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place 4 AAA-size batteries in the appliance. Ensure that they are
placed in accordance with the polarity indicated in the appliance.
Close the battery compartment.
Place the cuff on the top of your left arm and adjust it as indicated
in Fig.1
Rest for about 5 minutes before taking the reading Failure to do so
may cause deviations.
You can take the pressure lying calmly and straight or sitting
upright, supporting your arm on a table, ensuring that the arm rests
at the height of the heart, as shown in Fig.2
Steps for taking a reading:
1. Press the on/off button (5).
2. You will hear an audible alarm and you will notice a slight pres-
sure in the cuff. Do not move.
3. You will see the first reading, the blood pressure.
4. The cuff will decrease pressure briefly and the second reading
will appear on the screen for pulse. The screen will display a heart
to distinguish this reading.
5. The pressure of the cuff will disappear and you will hear an area
alarm. Following this, the reading data are displayed on the screen
The instrument will automatically turn off after one minute.
To ensure that the values are comparable, always take a pressure
reading at the same time.
If you want to perform more than one reading for the same person,
wait 5 minutes between each reading.
Repeat the reading if you do not trust the validity of the reading
values. In the event that you believe that the results are not correct,
take the appliance to a Technical Support Service.
As this is a home use product, it does not need to be calibrated.
Rapid deflation during reading.
If you feel unwell during the reading or you wish to stop the device
for any reason, you can press the on/off button for the device to
quickly release the air from the cuff and the device will return to
standby mode.
