Belgesi”’ne sahiptir.
GİRİŞ / INTRODUCTION
This device, developed by collaboration of SAKARYA University and support of TUBITAK and KOSGEB, is
the first TUBITAK-supported in-cabin unit heater of Turkey. It also has “Utility Model Certificate” given
by the Turkish Patent Institute.

Cihaz, elektronik kontrol ünitesine sahiptir. Digital ekrana sahip harici bir kontrol paneli sayesinde
kullanılabilmektedir. Panelin kullanımı, aşağıda resimlerle detaylı olarak anlatılmaktadır.
Cihaz Kullanımı / Device Use
The device has an electronic control unit. It can be controlled through an external control panel
equipped with a digital display. The use of control panel is described below in details with illustrations.

Cihaz kapalı durumda iken (Şekil 1), ekranın parlaklık ayarı “b” ve “c” tuşları ile yapılır. “b” tuşuş parlaklığı arttırır, “c”
tuşu ise azaltır.Cihaz kapalı durumdayken 30 sn sonra ekran aydınlatması kapanır,herhangi bir tuşa basıldığında tekrar
açılır.
While the device is in off position (Figure1), adjust the display brightness with the keys “b” and “c”. Key “b” increases
the brightness and key “c” decreases the brightness. While the device is in off position, the display light is turned off
after 30 sec. and turns on again if pressed any button.

Genel ayarlar
Şekil 1’deki konumdayken, “c” tuşuna 4-5 saniye basılı tutularak,“Yaz/Kış Modu, Genel Saat ayarı ve Otomatik Açılma /
Kapanma Saat ayarı” menüsüne girilir (Şekil 2) . “b” tuşu imleci yukarı doğru, “c” tuşu imleci aşağı doğru hareket ettirir .
“a” tuşuna basılarak (imleç “>” şeklini alır) ayarlanmak istenen özellik seçilir.

Control Panel Time Setting (Timer-on and Timer-off)
While display of the control panel is in the position shown in Figure 1, enter into “Summer/Winter Mode , Time
Setting and Auto Start/Stop Time settings” menu by holding down the bottom key “c” for 4 – 5 seconds (Figure 2). Key
“b” moves the cursor upward and key “c” moves downward. When you press the key “a“ (the cursor takes the form
“>”), you can select the feature you want to set.

After entering into the mode, the summer mode is
set by key “b” and the winter mode by key “c”. Press
key “a” to confirm the selection. Mode: Winter –
Heating is active
Summer –Heating is not active, only fan is active

Saat Ayarı,
“Ayarlar” menüsünde, imleç kaydırılarak “Saat” üzerindeyken “a” tuşuna basılarak, saat ayarlarına girilir. Saati gösteren
kısım aktif haldeyken “b” tuşu ile istenilen saat değeri seçilir ve onaylamak için “a” tuşuna basılır. Daha sonra aynı
şekilde dakika kısmı aktif hale gelir ve yine “b” tuşu ile istenilen dakika değeri ayarlanır ve “a” tuşu ile onaylanır. Saat
ayarı bölümünden çıkmak için tekrar “a” tuşuna basılır ve son ayarlar kaydedilerek buradan çıkılır.

General Time Setting,
In the “Settings” menu, scroll and move the cursor to “Time” then press key “a” to enter into time settings.
While the part indicating time is active, select the required time value by using key “b” and then press key
“a” to confirm. Afterwards, minute is activated in the same way and again the required minute value is set by
pressing key “b” and confirmed by key “a”. To exist from time settings, press key “a” to save final settings and
to exit.

Otomatik Açılma Saat Ayarı,
“Ayarlar” menüsünde, imleç kaydırılarak “Açılma” üzerindeyken “a” tuşuna basılarak, ayarlanabilir komuna
getirilir. Genel saat ayarı kısmında anlatıldığı gibi istenilen açılış saati ayarlanır ve kaydedilir. İptal etmek için,
“Açılma” aktif halde iken, “c” tuşuna basılır ve tekrar “a” tuşuna basılarak “Açılma” saat ayarından çıkılır.
Auto Start Setting,
In the “Settings” menu, scroll and move the cursor to “start” and press key “a” for switching it into adjustable
position. The required opening time is set and saved as is explained in the section “General Time Settings”.
For cancellation, when “open” is active, press key “c” and then again press ”a” key to exit from “open” time
setting.

Cihaz Kullanımı / Device Use
Auto Stop Setting,
In the “Settings” menu, scroll and move the cursor to “Close/Off” and press key “a” to switch it into adjustable
position. The required closing time is set and saved as is explained in the section “General Time Settings”. When
auto start or auto stop function is active, an icon of bell can be seen on the main screen (Figure 6).

Otomatik Kapanma Saat Ayarı,
“Ayarlar” menüsünde, imleç kaydırılarak “Kapanma” üzerindeyken “a” tuşuna basılarak,
ayarlanabilir komuna getirilir. Genel saat ayarı kısmında anlatıldığı gibi istenilen kapanış saati
ayarlanır ve kaydedilir.
Otomatik Açma veya Kapama özelliği aktif edildiğinde ana ekranda çan simgesi belirir (Şekil 6)
Exit from SETTINGS Menu,
To return back to main display image (Main Menu), move the cursor to the sign of “<“ at the upper left
corner of display and then press key “a” to return back to main menu.
ATTENTION
All settings described above can only be made when the device is in off-position.

Ana ekran görüntüsüne (Ana Menü) dönmek için, imleç ekranda en yukarıdaki “<” işaretine getirilir ve
“a” tuşuna basılarak ana menüye dönülür.
DİKKAT
Yukarıda anlatılan tüm ayarlar, sadece cihaz kapalı konumda iken yapılabilmektedir.

Cihaz Kullanımı / Device Use
Operation of Device and Temperature Setting, WINTER MODE
When display of the control panel is in the initial position (Figure 1), press key “a” and turn on the device. This
device will start heat transfer (hot air blowing) 4 –5 minutes after the issuance of “Operate” command.
For the required ambient temperature setting, while display of the control panel is in the position shown in
Figure 7 (in operating position), raise the temperature to required value by pressing key “b”, or key “c” to
reduce the value. It is enough to press key “a” once on this screen to turn off the device.

Kontrol paneli ekranı ilk konumda iken (Şekil 1),
“a” tuşuna basılarak cihaz çalıştırılır. Cihaz, “Çalış”
komutu verildikten yaklaşık 4-5 dakika sonra ısı
vermeye (sıcak hava üflemeye) başlayacaktır.
İstenilen sıcaklık ayarı için, kontrol paneli ekranı
Şekil 7’deki gibi iken (cihaz çalışır durumda), “b”
tuşu vasıtasıyla ortam sıcaklığı, istenilen değere
yükseltilir. “c” tuşu vasıtası ile de düşürülür. Cihazı
kapatmak için bu ekranda, bir kez “a” tuşuna

Winter Mode

Cihaz Kullanımı / Device Use
Operation of Device and Temperature Setting, SUMMER MODE
When display of the control panel is in the initial position (Figure 1), press key “a” and turn on the device. The
heating feature is not active in the summer mode. Only the fan can be operated to ensure air circulation in the
environment.
The speed of the fan is increased by key “b” and decreased by key “c”.

“a” tuşuna basılarak cihaz çalıştırılır. Yaz modunda
ısıtma özelliği çalışmaz. Sadece ortamda hava
sirkülasyonu sağlamak amacıyla fan çalıştırılır.
Fan hızı “b” tuşu ile arttırıır, “c” tuşu ile azaltılır.

Dikkat Edilmesi Gereken Hususlar / Considerations
1- When the device is operated for the first time and in case of the refilling of empty fuel tank, the fuel pump
should be able to be operated manually in order to evacuate the air in the diesel inlet tube. For this, while
display of the control panel is in the position shown in Figure 1 (Main Menu), operate the fuel pump by
holding down key “b” for 3 – 4 seconds until the sign of pump appears, and then release after the sign
appears. Depending on the length of the diesel hose reaching to device from fuel tank, the fuel tank is
operated manually for around 15 –20 seconds. Afterwards, again by holding down key “b” for 3 – 4 seconds,
operation of the fuel pump is stopped. And the “pump” sign disappears on the display.
2- It is required to use Euro-Diesel or gasoil in the fuel tank of the device as fuel.

1- Cihaz ilk kez çalıştırılırken ve boşalan yakıt deposunun tekrar doldurulması durumunda, mazot emme
borusundaki havayı almak üzere manuel olarak yakıt pompası çalıştırılabilmektedir. Bunun için, kontrol panel
ekranı Şekil 1’deki (Ana menü) gibiyken, pompa işareti çıkana kadar yaklaşık 3-4 saniye boyunca “b” tuşuna
basılı tutulur , pompa işareti belirdiğinde bırakılır. Yakıt deposundan cihaza gelen mazot hortumunun
uzunluğuna bağlı olarak, yakıt pompası manuel olarak yaklaşık 15-30 saniye çalıştırılır. Daha sonra tekrar “b”
tuşuna basılarak, yakıt pompasının çalışması durdurulur. Ekrandan “pompa” işareti kalkar.
2- Cihaz yakıt deposunda yakıt olarak olarak Euro-Diesel veya Gazyağı kullanılması gerekmektedir.

3- When the device reaches to required ambient temperature value (preset temperature value) in order for
both achieving the fuel-efficiency and maintaining the ambient temperature at a certain value, the engine
speed falls down and thus the device starts to run slower (sleep mode). If the ambient temperature drops
down the required operating temperature, the engine speed increases automatically.
4- Occasionally, the ambient temperature may exceed the required temperature value (preset value), in such
case, a “sandglass” item appears on the display and the device stops running. And this situation continues
until the ambient temperature reaches preset value. When it drops below this value, the device resumes
operation.

3- Cihaz, hem yakıt tasarrufu yapmak hem de ortam sıcaklığını belli bir değerde sabit tutmak amacıyla, ortam
için arzu edilen sıcaklık değerine (ayarlanan sıcaklık değeri) ulaşıldığında düşük güçte çalışmasına devam eder
(ekonomi Modu). Ortam sıcaklığı arzu edilen çalışma sıcaklığının altına düştüğü takdirde otomatik olarak
gücünü arttırır.
4- Bazen ortam sıcaklığı, istenilen sıcaklık değerinin (ayarlanmış olan) üzerine çıkabilir, bu durumda ekranda
“kum saati” simgesi görünür ve cihaz durur (uyku modu). Ortam sıcaklığı ayarlanmış değere ulaşana kadar
durmaya devam eder. Bu değerin altına düştüğünde yeniden çalışmaya başlar.

Dikkat Edilmesi Gereken Hususlar / Considerations
6- If the device will not be used for a long period, it is strongly recommended to empty the fuel tank and
disconnect the fuel hoses; because, the chemical matters in fuel precipitates after a long period and as a
result of this precipitation solid particles occur. And these particles damage all system, especially the spark
plug. When it is required to start the device again, the fuel hoses are reconnected and the fuel tank is filled
and air in the pipe is evacuated by manual operation of the fuel pump as described in article “1”.
7- In order to prevent any damage to the device, a fuse is used against sudden current changes. If the menu
image does not appear on the control display, first check if the fuse is in good condition. If replacement of
fuse is required,

6- Eğer cihaz uzun süre kullanılmayacak ise, yakıt deposunun boşaltılması ve yakıt hortumlarının çıkartılması
önemle tavsiye edilir. Zira yakıt içerisinde bulunan kimyasal maddeler uzun süre beklediğinde çökelmekte ve bu
çökelme sonucu katı partiküller meydana gelmektedir. Bu partiküller de başlıca buji olmak üzere tüm sisteme
zarar vermektedir. Cihaz tekrar çalıştırılmak istendiğinde, yakıt hortumları yerine takılır, yakıt deposu doldurulur
ve “1” nolu maddede tarif edildiği üzere yakıt pompası manuel olarak çalıştırılarak borudaki hava dışarı atılır.
7- Cihaza herhangi bir zarar gelmesini önlemek amacıyla, ani elektrik akımı değişikliklerine karşı sigorta
kullanılmıştır. Eğer komuta ekranına menü görüntüsü gelmiyorsa, öncelikle sigortanın sağlam olup olmadığını
kontrol ediniz. Sigortanın değiştirilmesi gerekiyorsa,

Use 10 amperages fuse for 24V SHAVA device and 20 amperages fuse for 12V SHAVA device. Otherwise, in case
of any other failure on the device, it does not fall into scope of warranty.
8- It is recommended that, at the end of 1st year, the device should be controlled by “SHAVA Authorised Service”
at the beginning of winter season before having been started-up.
9- Failures occurred on the device are viewed on the display together with failure causes.
10- Make sure that the connection of the hoses to the device is made correctly. Be attentive not to damage
during the handling.

24V SHAVA cihazında 10 Amper’lik ; 12V SHAVA cihazında 20 Amper’lik sigorta kullanılmalıdır. Aksi halde cihazın
herhangi başka bir arızası durumunda, garanti kapsamından yararlanılamaz.
8- Cihaz 1. Yılını doldurduktan sonra kış sezonu başında çalıştırılmadan önce “SHAVA Yetkili Servisi” tarafından
kontrolünün yapılması tavsiye edilir.
9- Cihazda meydana gelen arızalar, cihaz ekranında arıza sebebiyle birlikte görüntülenmektedir.
10-Cihaza hortum bağlantılarının doğru yapıldığından emin olunuz. Kullanım sırasında da zarar görmemelerine
özen gözteriniz.

11-For your safety, make sure that fresh air is provided in the environment where device is.
12- If the device is installed in a closed space, make sure that the insulation at the part of the exhaust
pipe remaining within the closed space is done properly and that the exhaust outlet is open.

11- Güvenliğiniz açısından cihazın bulunduğu ortama sürekli temiz hava girmesine dikkat ediniz.
12- Eğer cihaz kapalı bir yere monte edilmiş ise, çalıştırmadan önce egzoz borusunun kapalı alan içerisinde kalan
bölümünde yalıtımın doğru yapıldığından ve egzoz çıkışının açık olduğundan emin olunuz.

Uyarılar (Arıza durumunda ekranda görülen) / WARNINGS (Appear on display in case of failure)
1- FAN Failure
When the motor starting the blower which is used to blow hot air into environment fails, “Blower Failure”
expression appears on the display. No air blowing occurs, and the device shutdowns automatically. And
failure signal continues appearing on the display. In such case, do not try to restart the device.
2- Pump Failure
When the fuel pump fails, the expression “Pump Failure” appears on the display. The device automatically
shuts down and continues to blow hot air into environment until it becomes cold. After it has become cold,
blowing function stops.

1- FAN Arızası
Ortama sıcak havayı üflemeye yarayan fanı çalıştıran motor arızalandığında ekranda
“Fan Arızasi” yazısı görünür. Hava üflemesi olmaz, cihaz otomatik olarak kapanır.
Ekranda arıza uyarısı görünmeye devam eder. Bu durumda cihazı tekrar çalıştırmayın
ve yetkili servise haber verin.
2- Pompa Arızası
Yakıt pompası arızalandığında ekranda “Pompa Arızası” yazısı görünür. Cihaz
kendisini otomatik kapatır. Kendisini soğutana kadar ortama sıcak hava üflemeye
devam eder. Cihaz soğuduktan sonra üfleme de durur. Bu durumda pompa
bağlantısını kontrol edin ve gerekiyorsa yetkili servise haber verin.

Uyarılar (Arıza durumunda ekranda görülen) / WARNINGS (Appear on display in case of failure)
3- Overheating (Check the air inlet and outlet)
If “Overheating, Check the Air Inlet and Outlet” writing appears on the display, please check the air inlet and outlet
points of device. In order to avoid from the occurrence of such situation, do not close, block or put any obstructive
item in front of air inlet and outlet points.
WARNING-Do not cover the device with anything in a manner to block the air inlet and outlet, they should remain
open.
4- Heater Failure
In case of the failure of spark plug (if it does not ignite), “heater failure” signal appears on the display. In such case, do
not operate the device again, and contact your authorized service.

3- Aşırı Isınma (Hava Giriş-Çıkışını Kontrol Edin)
Ekranda “Aşırı Isınma, Hava giris-çıkışını kontrol edin” yazısının görünmesi durumunda, cihazın
hava giriş ve çıkış noktalarını kontrol ediniz. Bu durumun oluşmaması için, hava giriş-çıkış
yerlerini kapatmayınız, üzerini örtmeyiniz, önüne engelleyici herhangi bir cisim koymayınız.
DİKKAT- Cihazın hava giriş – çıkış yerlerini kapatacak şekilde üzerini herhangi bir şeyle
örtmeyiniz, açık kalmasına dikkat ediniz.
4- Isıtıcı Arızası
Cihazın bujisinin çalışmaması (ateşeme yapmaması) durumunda ekranda “Isıtıcı Arızası”
uyarısı görülür. Bu durumda cihazı tekrar çalıştırmayın ve yetkili servise haber verin.

Uyarılar (Arıza durumunda ekranda görülen) / WARNINGS (Appear on display in case of failure)
5- Connection Failure
If at least one of the sockets connected to main board during assembling is not properly fixed or if there is any
loose contact on socket cables, then “connection failure” signal appears on the display. In such case, chech the
pump connection and if necessary, contact authorized service.
6- Sensor Failure
In case of the failure of sensor, “sensor failure” signal appears on the display. In such case, do not operate the
device again, and contact your authorized service.

5- Bağlantı Arızası
Cihazın montajı sırasında anakarta takılan soketlerden en az birisi yerine tam olarak
oturmazsa veya soket kablolarında herhangi bir temassızlık varsa ekranda “Bağlantı
Arızası” uyarısı görülür. Bu durumda pompa bağlantısını kontrol edin ve gerekiyorsa
yetkili servise haber verin.
6- Sensör Arızası
Cihazdaki sensörün çalışmaması durumunda ekranda “Sensör Arızası” uyarısı görülür.
Bu durumda cihazı tekrar çalıştırmayın ve yetkili servise haber verin.
