Introduction
The SonoRead 868 is a radio receiver for wireless
M-Bus resource meters. It is equipped with a Blue-
tooth interface and it is intended to be used togeth-
er with a portable computer for mobile consumption
meter reading.
This device may only be operated by
trained personnel!
This device is not a toy and it must be
kept away from children!
Do not charge the battery of the
device at temperatures below 0 °C or at
temperatures above 45 °C!
Charging the battery
Before using the device for the first time, please
charge it completely with the accompanying battery
charger. As soon as the red battery-charging indica-
tor is switched off, you may disconnect the battery
charger. Due to the low self-discharge rate of the
lithium ion battery it is not necessary to keep the de-
vice permanently connected to the battery charger.
Switching ON / OFF
For switching on the device, please press the on
button. The device is ready to receive radiometers
and able to establish a Bluetooth connection after
approximately 5 seconds.
For switching off the device, manually, press and
hold the on button for at least 5 seconds.
The device is switching itself off after 10 minutes
without a Bluetooth connection.

Disposal
This device must not be disposed
together with the domestic waste.
Return it to the manufacturer for
recycling.

Einführung
Der SonoRead 868 ist ein tragbarer Funkempfänger
für Wireless M Bus Ressourcenzähler mit Bluetooth
Schnittstelle. Er ist für die mobile Auslesung in Ver-
bindung mit einem portablen Computer gedacht.
Das Gerät darf nur von Fachkräften in
Betrieb genommen werden!
Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug und darf
nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen!
Laden Sie das Gerät nicht bei
negativen Temperaturen und nicht bei
Temperaturen oberhalb 45 °C!
Laden der Batterie
Bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb neh-
men sollte sie es mit dem mitgelieferten Batteriela-
der komplett aufladen. Wenn die rote Ladeanzeige
ausgeht, können Sie den Batterielader vom Gerät
trennen. Aufgrund der geringen Selbstentladung
des Lithium Ionen Akkus ist es nicht nötig das Gerät
permanent am Batterielader zu behalten.
Ein- / Ausschalten
Zum Einschalten drücken Sie bitte den Einschalt-
knopf. Nach ca. 5 Sekunden ist das Gerät bereit
Funktelegramme zu empfangen und eine Bluetooth
Verbindung aufzubauen.
Zum Ausschalten halten sie den Einschaltknopf
länger als 5 Sekunden gedrückt.
Das Gerät schaltet sich nach 10 Minuten ohne Blue-
tooth Verbindung automatisch ab.

Entsorgung

Introduction
Le SonoRead 868 est un récepteur radio pour capter
des compteurs radio du Wireless M-Bus. Il possède
une interface Bluetooth pour la communication avec
un ordinateur portable. En général on l’utilise pour
les relevés mobiles des compteurs de consomma-
tion.
Seulement le personnel qualifié est
autorisé d’actionner l’appareil.
Cet appareil n’est pas un jouet et doit
être tenu à distance des enfants.
Il ne faut pas charger l’appareil
pendant les températures ambiantes
négatives ou au-dessus 45 °C !
Charger la pile
Avant d’utiliser l’appareil la première fois, c’est
conseillé de le charger complètement avec le
chargeur joint. Le moment ou l’indicateur rouge
de chargement s’éteint on peut couper le chargeur
de l’appareil. Grace à l’autodécharge minime de la
pile lithium ion ce n’est pas nécessaire de garder le
chargeur branché sur l’appareil.
Allumer / éteindre
Pour allumer l’appareil il faut appuyer sur le bouton
d’allumage. Après 5 secondes il est prêt pour capter
les compteurs radio est pour établir une connexion
Bluetooth.
Pour l’éteindre il faut appuyer et rester sur le bouton
d’allumage pour plus que 5 secondes.
Sans connexion Bluetooth l’appareil s’éteint après 10
minutes.
