Overview
It is the pilot’s responsibility to make sure that the trailer is fully
functional and ready to use before going cross country. Anything
found on the trailer to be damaged, worn out or not working should
be reported to a committee member, LS7 captain or trailer officer.
Where possible, it is preferred that the pilot fix the fault themselves
if the issue is minor.
Trailer Electrical Plug
Trailer Interior Lights
The LS7’s trailer has interior lights to aid de-rigging in the dark.
Tool Box Contents
These items are needed for the operation of the trailer and should
be put back when finished with. Alert a Committee member, LS7
Captain or Trailer Officer if anything is missing.
The plug on all club trailers is the small, seven pin variety.
DDSC has a number of adapters for other plug types
stored in the bar area. It is the pilot’s responsibility to
make sure that their retrieve vehicle is able to connect to
the trailers electrics.
Plug trailer into the car
and unhook the electrical
wire from underneath of
the front of the draw bar.
This will allow the trailer
front to be raised as per
de-rigging instructions.
The interior light switch is located on the right hand
side of the front hatch. When turned on it lights up.
Remember to turn the lights off again when finished
de-rigging.
