IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including
ampliers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades
with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide
blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an
electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and
the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments /accessories specied by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand tripod, bracket, or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold with
the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution, when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury
from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged
in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Grazie per aver acquistato un prodotto progettato e sviluppato in Italia da dBTechnologies! Questo kit wireless a
modulazione di frequenza è frutto di una lunga esperienza nel campo della trasmissione radio applicata al campo
audio. Impiega soluzioni ottimizzate per una facile congurazione e robustezza di utilizzo.
Il sistema wireless RW16, nella versione con radiomicrofono mano (RW16 MS), oppure bodypack (RW16 BS), può
operare nelle frequenze 823-832 MHz / 863-865 MHz. Sono disponibili all’utente 16 canali. Il sistema è versatile e
pronto all’uso. Le caratteristiche principali sono:
Per utilizzare al meglio il vostro RW16 consigliamo di:
•ricevitore RW16R a 2 antenne con sistema di ricezione diversity
•trasmettitore palmare con possibilità di cambio rapido capsula (compatibilità Shure)
•trasmettitore bodypack con headset incluso e connettore mini-xlr
•uscita audio del sistema bilanciata (XLR) e sbilanciata (TRS)
•leggere il manuale d’uso quick start presente nella confezione e questo manuale d’uso completo in
ogni sua parte e conservarlo per tutta la durata di vita del prodotto.
•registrare il prodotto sul sito http://www.dbtechnologies.com nella sezione “SUPPORTO”.
•conservare prova d’acquisto e GARANZIA (Manuale d’uso “sezione 2”).

Il trasmettitore mano RW16M presenta i seguenti comandi:
1. led on/off
2. pulsante on/off
3. battery Cover apribile per l’accesso all’alloggio delle batterie
4. porta a infrarossi IR

Procedura di sincronizzazione di RW16M:
• connettere il ricevitore alla rete elettrica tramite l’alimentatore. Premere il pulsante di accensione/
spegnimento per circa 1”, accendendolo.
• inserire le batterie fornite nel trasmettitore svitando la Cover ed osservando la corretta polarità di
posizionamento. Premere il pulsante on/off per circa 3” accendendolo.
• allineare le porte IR come mostrato in gura
• premere sul ricevitore il tasto di sincronizzazione ASC. Il display inizia a lampeggiare no a che,
diventando sso, mostra l’avvenuta operazione.

Procedura di sincronizzazione di RW16B:
• connettere il ricevitore alla rete elettrica tramite l’alimentatore. Premere il pulsante di accensione/
spegnimento per circa 1”, accendendolo.
• inserire le batterie fornite aprendo la cover ed osservando la corretta polarità. Premere il pulsante
on/off per circa 3”.
• allineare le porte IR come mostrato
• premere sul ricevitore il tasto di sincronizzazione ASC. Il display inizia a lampeggiare no a che,
diventando sso, mostra l’avvenuta operazione.
Il trasmettitore bodypack RW16B presenta i seguenti comandi:
1. connettore mini-XLR
2. led on/off
3. pulsante on/off
4. cover della batteria
5. selettore di attenuazione del microfono (2 posizioni: 0 dB / -10 dB)

PROBLEMA POSSIBILE SOLUZIONE
Il ricevitore non si accende •Vericare la presenza di alimentazione a monte
dell’impianto, la corretta connessione dei cablag-
gi, e ripetere la procedura di accensione.
Il trasmettitore non si accende •Vericare l’inserimento e la carica delle batterie,
eventualmente sostituirle. Ripetere la procedura
di accensione.
Il segnale audio non arriva al mixer •Vericare i cablaggi ed il livello di input sul ricev-
itore. Eventualmente ripetere la procedura di
sincronizzazione.

Thanks for purchasing a product designed and developed in Italy by dBTechnologies! RW16 is the result of a long
experience in the digital radio transmission eld applied to the audio eld. It uses optimised solutions for an easy
conguration and robustness of use.
The RW16 wireless system, in the version with hand-held radio microphone (RW16 MS), or bodypack (RW16 BS),
can operate at frequencies of 823-832 MHz / 863-865 MHz. 16 channels are available to the user. The system is
versatile and ready for use. Its main features include:
To make the most of your RW16, we recommend that you:
• 2-antenna RW16R receiver with diversity reception system
• hand-held transmitter with the possibility of quick capsule change (Shure compatibility)
• bodypack transmitter with headset included and mini-xlr connector
• balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (TRS) system audio output
• read the quick start user manual included in the package and this user manual thoroughly and keep
this manual during the whole life of the product.

3. TRANSMITTER RW16M
The RW16M hand-held radio microphone features the following controls:
1. on/off LED
2. on/off button
3. openable battery cover for accessing the battery compartment
4. IR infrared port

RW16M sync procedure:
• connect the receiver’s power supply cable to a power outlet. Press the on/off button for about 1”
to turn it on.
• unscrew the Battery Cover and insert the supplied batteries into the transmitter, respecting the
indicated polarity. Press the on/off button for about 3” to turn it on.
• align the IR ports as shown in the gure
• press the ASC sync button on the receiver. The display starts ashing and stops once the operation
has been completed.

4. TRANSMITTER RW16B
RW16B sync procedure:
• connect the receiver’s power supply cable to a power outlet. Press the on/off button for about 1”

PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTION
The receiver does not turn on • Make sure power is present upstream of the sys-
tem, verify the proper connection of the wiring,
and repeat the activation procedure.
The transmitter does not turn on • Check that the batteries are properly inserted and
charged; replace them if necessary. Repeat the
activation procedure
The mixer does not receive the au-
dio signal
• Check the wiring and the input level on the receiv-
er. Repeat the sync procedure if necessary.
