The future in wireless
technology
The DWS2400 is the worlds first digital wireless
system operating in the 2.4GHz range, leading the
way to the future of wireless transmission. Digital
Wireless brings a new dimension to the sound,
dynamics and the noise ratio of wireless systems,
avoiding the limitations of analog systems.
Dynamics unlimited
Analog Wireless Systems always require a
compander system to reduce the signal to noise
ratio to an useable level, meaning the signal is
being compressed in the transmitter and on the
other side decompressed in the receiver. This
method is required in every analog wireless
system. Unfortunately this limits the range of
dynamic, in particular for guitarists and bass
players. However, with the digital wireless
transmission the analog technology will become
outdated. The signal is converted through a high
profile Delta Sigma 20bit AD-Converter in the
transmitter into digital data. Those data packages
are sent to the receiver to be converted back into
an analog signal. This technology allows a
natural, full dynamic range. The data transmission
also avoids also the frequency modulation of an
analog system. The result is a crystal clear sound
without hissing.
Transmission
from 20-22KHz
The frequency range of a DWS2400 System means
CD-Quality. The sampling rate of 44.1KHz gives an
unbelievable range of 20Hz to 22KHz. Analog
systems only manage a range of 50Hz up to
15KHz due to the method of construction.
Gigahertz
The DWS 2400 works on a 2.4GHz basis in the
upper UHF range, allowing an enormous amount
of broadband data transmission. This method
requires a special antenna technique, which was
implemented in the 2400 R receiver, the so-called
PATCH - Antenna, that is mounted on top of the
receiver so that it can be flipped up easily.
The DWS2400 System works on the principle of
true diversity technology, meaning two separate
receiver channels work independently, and are
controlled by intelligent electronics to always
process the best incoming signal allowing for an
absolutely reliable system!
Digitally yours
The known latency (delay) of digital signal
processing is an outstanding 2 ms and therefore
not noticeable for the user.

For Vocal Artists with high expectations to sound
performance, the ergonomically shaped
handheld microphone, made out of rugged metal
with an integrated display is available either with
a dynamic hypercardoid beyerdynamic TG-X 58
capsule or with a high quality beyerdynamic
condenser capsule.
DWS 2400 G
The DWS2400 G addresses professional guitarists
and bass players who want wireless technology
without any compromise. The DWS2400G comes
in a carbon fiber housing with an adaptor cable
(6.3mm Jack) for instrumental amplifiers.
Intelligent Receiver
The latest Version of the DWS2400 incorporates
intelligent software to allow management of
frequency scans for multi channel setups.
In addition to the 16 pre programmed frequency
Combinations, there are also a further 24
different combinations (patterns) available.
RDA 2400/900
The dual band directional antenna RDA2400/900
can be connected directly to the receiver and
provides +6dB more RF-signal, or in conjunction
with the AS4X, as an active Antenna with a gain
of up to +19dB - for best performance in long
distance applications.
