Introduction
The Mini Smart Plug is a high quality wireless smart device which can be used to switch lights and electrical appliances (up
to 3120W) on/o automatically and remotely.
Connection
The Mini Smart Plug requires a working 2.4GHz WiFi connection to operate.
Download the Smart Life app on your device, available free on both iPhone and Android.
Register an account using your email address and follow the on-screen instructions.
To add a device, follow on-screen instructions within the app, as also shown below:
MINI SMART PLUG

1. Tap ‘Add Device’ or hit the ‘+’ icon in
the top right of the screen. In the menu
that appears down the left-hand side,
choose ‘Electrical’, then ‘Socket (Wi-Fi)’.
2. Enter your Wi-Fi details, ensuring no typos.
The ‘Reset the Device’ screen will appear.
Insert the plug into a live socket and wait for
the light to start blinking. Press Next.
3. Confirm the light is blinking and press Next.. 4. Press and hold the top button for 5 seconds.
The light will blink quickly. Now press and
hold the button for another 5 seconds.
The light will blink slowly. Press Next.
5. Choose the ‘Blink Slowly’ option that appears. 6. Click Go to Connect. You will be directed to
your phone Settings; click on the Wi-Fi net
work containing ‘SmartLife’. Once connected,
go back to the SmartLife app.
7. The ‘Adding Device’ countdown will appear
and your connection should be complete
within 2 minutes.
8. You will see the confirmation screen after
successful connection. Name your Smart Plug
and click Done.
