WARNINGS
• Do not use the Defy Ultraderm Therapy device without first
viewing the instructional video.
• Do not use this device if you have any of the following:
- Pacemaker
- Tumor(s)
- Metallic implants
- Infection
- Open wounds or sores
• Do not use the device above the cheekbone or below the eyebrow.
• It is best to consult a physician prior to use if you are unsure or
have any questions about ultrasound use.
• For people with thyroid problems, do not use device on neck.
• Do not use in a moist environment, such as the shower or an area
where there is steam.
• Avoid dropping or throwing the device as this can affect the
efficiency.
Defy Ultraderm Therapy Device Instructions
Defy Ultraderm Therapy is a handheld, portable, corded skin care device
for use on all skin types. It contains 4 PZT ceramic crystals and has a
frequency of 25KHz (25,000 oscillations per second).
The Defy Ultraderm Therapy device works by
emitting ultrasonic waves and vibrations that open up
temporary micro-channels into the skin. Mode 1, Deep
Cleanse Mode, uses these micro-channels to remove
excess oil and dirt from pores. Mode 2, Permeate Mode,
uses them to help drive topical nutrients into the skin
through sonophoresis.
Press the Power and Mode Selection button once for
Deep Cleanse Mode. Press twice for Permeate Mode.
To turn off the power, press and hold the button for
2 seconds.

Deep Cleanse Mode: Two to three times weekly
STEP 1
Deep Cleanse Mode cleans the skin by using the oscillation of the metal
tip to remove dead skin cells, oils, and other impurities from the pores.
The Defy Ultraderm Therapy device requires a medium in order to work.
Lather water and Defy One Step Cleanser in hands and apply to face
before treating. Make sure the surface being treated is continually moist.
STEP 2
1. Plug the adapter into the slot located at the base of the unit, then
plug the adapter into the power outlet.
2. Press the power button to turn the device on to Mode 1—Deep
Cleanse Mode. The Clean indicator light should illuminate.
STEP 3
1. Hold the device at a 45-degree angle to the skin with the angled part
of the metal tip pointing down.
2. Glide the tip gently forward along the skin (refer to the diagram
above). Do not use on the eyelids or thyroid gland (at front of neck).
3. Glide in a forward direction only, not back and forth.
4. Reapply water as needed to ensure the treated area remains moist.
Repeat this step at least twice. More passes are necessary if the surface
is oily or congested. Wipe the blade tip with a cloth or tissue to remove
the impurities that come out of the skin. The process usually takes 3 to 5
minutes for a facial treatment.
STEP 4
After completing the Deep Cleanse Mode, rinse your face with water,
pat dry, and apply Defy Triple Action Toner.
Permeate Mode: Once daily
STEP 1
Permeate Mode infuses product into the skin using mechanical heat
and sonophoresis.
Spread a layer of Defy Age Erasing Serum on the skin—do not
rub it in. If the Defy Triple Action Toner dries too quickly during
the treatment, either spray the skin with water or apply a layer of
moisturizer (such as the Defy Face Lifting Night Cream) over it to
keep the skin continually moist.
STEP 2
To select Permeate Mode, press the power button twice. The
Permeate indicator light should illuminate.
STEP 3
1. Hold the device so that power buttons are facing the skin and the
device is at a 30-degree angle. The angled end of the metal tip
should be in contact with the skin.
2. Glide the flat tip over the skin in a backward motion.
3. Keep your skin moist.

STEP 4
Permeation usually takes 5-10 minutes. Together, the Deep Cleanse and
Permeate Modes should last for a maximum of 30 minutes.
1. Following each treatment, clean any excess product from the metal
tip. Remember to wipe the metal tip with a non-corrosive disinfectant
solution (i.e. alcohol pad) to prevent contamination.
2. Allow the tip to fully dry before placing the cover over the device.
3. Always cover the metal tip with the plastic lid when device is not in use.
4. Allow the power cord adaptor to cool before winding the cord around
the device.

Instrucciones de Uso del Dispositivo
de Terapia Ultradérmica Defy
El dispositivo de Terapia Ultradérmica Defy funciona al emitir ondas
ultrasónicas y vibraciones que abren temporalmente micro-canales en la
piel. Velocidad 1, Velocidad de Limpieza Profunda,
utiliza estos micro-canales para remover grasa
e impurezas en los poros. Velocidad 2, Velocidad
de Penetración, las usa para ayudar a penetrar
los nutrientes tópicos en la piel por medio de
sonoforesis.
Presionar el botón de encendido y de velocidad
una vez para la Velocidad de Limpieza Profunda.
Presionar dos veces para la Velocidad de
Penetración. Para apagarlo, presionar y mantener
presionado el botón por 2 segundos.

Velocidad de Limpieza Profunda: Dos a Tres veces por semana
PRIMER PASO
La Velocidad de Limpieza Profunda limpia la piel de manera profunda al
utilizar la oscilación de la punta de metal para remover células muertas
de la piel, aceites, e impurezas de los poros. El dispositivo para Terapia
Ultradérmica Defy requiere de un medio líquido para funcionar.
Mezcle en las manos agua y el Limpiador Facial Defy. Asegurarse que la
superficie que se va a tratar se mantenga constantemente humectada.
SEGUNDO PASO
1. Conectar el adaptador en el orificio en la base de la unidad, después
conectar el adaptador en el enchufe.
2. Presionar el botón de encendido para prender el aparato en la
Velocidad 1 – Velocidad de Limpieza Profunda. La luz de “limpieza” se
encenderá.
TERCER PASO
1. Sostener el dispositivo en un ángulo de 45 grados a la piel con la
punta apuntando hacia abajo.
2. Deslizar la punta suavemente hacia adelante sobre la piel. No utilizar
en los parpados o en la glándula tiroides (parte frontal del cuello).
3. Deslizar hacia adelante solamente y no de atrás hacia adelante
repetidamente.

4. Volver a aplicar agua según se necesite para asegurarse que el área
tratada permanezca humectada.
Repetir este paso al menos dos veces. Será necesario pasarlo más veces
si la superficie esta grasosa o congestionada. Limpiar la punta con un
trapo o pañuelo de papel para remover las impurezas que salieron de la
piel. El proceso tarda normalmente de 3 a 5 minutos para un tratamiento
facial.
CUARTO PASO
Después de completar la etapa de limpieza profunda, enjuagarse la cara
con agua. Secarla con golpecitos suaves y aplicar Tonificador de Triple
Acción Defy.
Velocidad de Penetración: Una vez al día
PRIMER PASO
La velocidad de penetración ayuda al producto a penetrar en la piel de
una manera más profunda usando calor y sonoforesis. Aplicar una capa
de Suero Generador de Juventud Defy - evite frotarlo. Si el suero se seca
muy rápido durante el tratamiento, rociar la piel con el Tonificador de
Triple Acción Defy o aplicar una capa de humectante (como la Crema de
Noche Face Lifting Defy) para que la piel permanezca humectada.

SEGUNDO PASO
Para cambiar a Velocidad de Penetración, presionar dos veces el botón
de encendido. La luz indicadora de penetración se prendera.
TERCER PASO
1. Sostener el aparato de tal manera que los botones estén del lado de
la piel y a un ángulo de 30 grados. La punta de metal en ángulo debe
estar en contacto con la piel.
2. Deslizar la parte plana de la punta sobre la piel en un movimiento
hacia atrás.
3. Mantener la piel húmeda.
CUARTO PASO
1. Después de cada tratamiento, limpiar la punta de metal con una
solución desinfectante no corrosiva (por ejemplo almohadilla con
alcohol) para prevenir la contaminación.
2. Permitir que la punta se seque completamente antes de colocar la
tapa del aparato.
3. Cubrir la punta de metal con la tapa de plástico cuando no se esté
utilizando el dispositivo.
4. Permitir que el cordón de electricidad del adaptador se enfríe antes
de guardarlo.
