Installing Software on Your Dell™ Axim™ X30
When installing software on your Dell Axim X30, you may receive the
message:
The program you have installed may not display
properly because it was designed for a previous
version of Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ software.
If you
receive this message, perform the following steps:
1 Tap ok to continue installing the software.
2 Run the software in portrait mode. See "Changing Display to Portrait."
NOTE: Most applications will work with Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition
when using portrait mode. Dell cannot guarantee that an application not written
for Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition will function properly.
NOTE: The Axim X30 has the Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition operating
system installed. Most PDA software packages currently available were
designed for previous versions of the Windows Mobile operating system.
If you need technical assistance with the software you are trying to install,
contact the software manufacturer. Dell does not provide support for
third-party electronics and accessories. Support for all third-party electronics
and accessories is provided by the original manufacturer of the product.

Changing Display to Portrait
To change the display mode from landscape to portrait, perform the
following steps:
1 Tap Start .
2 Tap Settings . The Settings window appears.
3 Tap the System tab.

4 Tap Screen . The Screen window appears.
5 Tap Portrait to select it.
6 Tap ok and close the window.
The screen display will be set to portrait mode.
NOTE: You can reverse these steps to change the display mode from portrait to
landscape.

Como mudar a exibição para retrato
Para mudar o modo de exibição de paisagem para retrato, faça o seguinte:
1 Toque em Iniciar .
2 Toque em Configurações . A janela Configurações aparecerá.
3 Toque na guia Sistema .
4 Toque em Tela . A janela Tela aparecerá.
5 Toque em Retrato para selecionar a opção.
6 Toque em OK e feche a janela.
A tela será configurada para o modo de exibição “retrato”.
NOTA: Para mudar o modo de exibição de volta para paisagem, execute o
procedimento na ordem inversa.

Cambio de la pantalla a vertical
Para cambiar el modo de presentación en pantalla de vertical a horizontal,

1 Puntee en Inicio .
2 Puntee en Configuración . Aparece la ventana Configuración .

4 Puntee en Pantalla . Aparece la ventana Pantalla .
