NEW MODEL INFORMATION
DVM-1800
5-Disc DVD Video Carousel Changer
5-Disc Carousel DVD-Video Changer with 24/96 Playback
■High-speed, Precision 10-bit, 27-MHz Video D/A Converter
The highly accurate video decoder processes the DVD video data (the
component luminance and color difference signals). In order to output
this high-quality digital signal with its original purity still preserved, the
DVM-1800 employs a high-speed, high-precision 10-bit, 27-MHz video
D/A converter. This design improves the reproducibility of extremely
minute details so that the picture viewed on the screen is completely
faithful to the original image in both its colors and high resolution.
■Carousel Changer System
In the DVM-1800’s carousel changer system, any of the other 4 discs
can be replaced while one of the discs is in play.
■Wide Selection of Playback Options
1) Program Play: Program Play is possible from all loaded discs, such
as Track 2 of Disc 1, to Track 1 of Disc 3, to Track 8 of Disc 2, etc.
2) Repeat: 6 Repeat options are available (1 Track / 1 Disc All / A-B
Repeat / 5 Discs All / DVD All / CD All). If both CDs and DVDs are
loaded, the CD All option lets you repeat only the CDs.
■Fluorescent Display to easily distinguish discs
With the DVM-1800, the display on the front panel indicates whether a
loaded disc is a CD or a DVD so that you easily can monitor the kinds of
discs that are loaded.
■24-bit, 96-kHz D/A Converter
■PCM, Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Output
Both coaxial and optical digital outputs are provided.
■Five Video Outputs
1 Composite video output, 1 “S” video output, and 1 set of component
video outputs are provided, allowing easy integration into virtually any
home theater system.
■Picture Mode
In addition to the Normal mode, the Picture Mode function also provides
Cinema modes. Cinema mode gives you a picture quality well suited to
the atmosphere of movie viewing.
■Virtual Surround Sound
■24/96 PCM Digital Output Capability
