PLAYING AT 2X,4X,6X,8X OR 16X THE NORMAL SPEED
You can play back a disc at 2x,4x,6x,8x or 16x the normal speed.
The playback speedbecomes 2x,4xor 8xof the normalspeed each timeyou press
the SLOW button

You have the optionto select apreferred subtitle fromthose included onthe DVD
video disc.
Press the SUB-Tbutton during playback.
To TURN OFF thesubtitles.
Pressing the SUB-Tduring playback untilthe subtitle disappesrs.
-Due to thenature of someDVD video discs,youmay not beable to turnoff the subtitles
and they willappear on screenautomatically.
-AS you pressthe SUB-T button, the subtitlesmay not appearimmediately during
some scenes.
-If the subtitlescontinue to showon your TV even aferthe DVD hasbeen turned off,
please refer tothe TV is close captionsettings.

MP3 PLAYBACK
The DVD playercan playback discs,including CD-R, CD-RW recorded with MP3 audio files.
Multiple and multi-leveldirectories are supported.Upon loading aMP3 disc, whenthe
screen show theroot menu, youcan use thearrow keys tomove the cursorto Mp3 option
and press ENTERkey into it.The TV screen will show as follow:
Aif you wantto return tothe previous menu,press the STOP key to stop playing
and then usethe left arrowkeys to return.
Play mode:
There are sevenplay modes available,when playing, pressREPEAT button on the remote
control to choosethe Mp3 playmode:

Play the filesin the selectedfolder in order.
REP-ONE
A filein the selectedfolder will beplayed repeatedly.
FOLDER REPEAT
All files inthe selected folderwill be playedonly once.
DISC
All files inthe disc willbe played inorder.

All files inthe disc willbe played repeatedly.
SINGLE
A file of current folderwill be played only once.
Other Functions
Functions such asMUTE, VOLUME, PAUSE, PREVIOUS, NEXTetc. are alsoavailable
for MP3 discsand they functionsame as playingaudio Cds.

PICTURE CD OPERATIONSING/MPEG-4 PLAYBACK
PLAYING KODAK PICTURE CD OR JPEG FILES
The DVD playeris compatible toKodak Picture CDand discs containingJPEG image
files (with .JPGfile extension). This function issimilar to MP3playback function.
Upon loading aKodak Picture CDor disc containingJPEG files, andthen use the
arrows keys tomove the cursorto the JPEGoption and pressENTER key intoit,
the TV screen shows:
Operations:
Picture selection
Press arrow buttonsto select thetarget picture andpress ENTER buttonto show.
Rotate Picture:
You can use arrow buttons to rotatecurrent showing picture.
Previous and Nextselection:
You can press buttonto show previouspicture or buttonto show next picture
manually.
When playing,press STOP key to stop and return to menuinterface.
Press the leftarrow key toreturn to rootdirectory.
MPEG-4 Playback
Upon loading thedisc, the screenshows a windowas interface asMp3.
1) Select theAVI file by using arrow buttonto choose thepreference AVI file and press
ENTER button toplay it.
2)Tostop playing, pressthe STOP button at anytime.
Other Functions
Function such asMUTE, VOLUME, PAUSE, PREVIOUS, NEXT,
FAST FORWARD, FAST BACKWARD etc. are also available for MPEG-4 disc and their
function same asplaying DVD discs.
