BUTTON
POWER SUPPLY
Plug AC plug into the outlet socket on the unit for connecting the main power.
SLEEP TIMER SETTING
You can set the sleep timer at power on&standby modes as following instructions:
At the standby mode, press SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the sleep time
options:
90 ➨80 ➨70 ➨60 ➨50 ➨40 ➨30 ➨20 ➨10 ➨OFF
Release the button, then “WELCOME” shows on the screen, the unit is turned on.
After the sleep time setting, you can play the unit freely. Once the sleep time is expired, the
unit will be switched off.
Or, during playback, press SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the sleep time options,
once the options you want shows on the screen, release the sleep button.
During playback, press SLEEP button once to check the remain sleep time.
HOW TO SET TIME
1. At the standby mode, press and hold PLAY/PAUSE button on the unit or
PLAY/PAUSE&TIME SET/MEM button on the remote until Hour flashes on the screen
with "CLK" shows on the screen; use TUN UP/DOWN button on the unit or TUN+/- button
on the remote to adjust the hour and confirm your adjustment by pressing PLAY/PAUSE
button on the unit or PLAY/PAUSE&TIME SET/MEM button on the remote; Minute starts
blinking on the screen, press TUN UP/DOWN button on the unit or press TUN+/- button
on the remote to set the minute accordingly, press PLAY/PAUSE button on the unit or
PLAY/PAUSE&TIME SET/MEM button on the remote again to confirm your setting.
2. Clock synchronization starts automatically at the first docking whenever the unit has just
been connected to AC power supply. Subsequent to the first docking, it is necessary to
long press the CLOCK SYNC button to conduct clock synchronization.
During playback, connect the iPhone/iPod to the unit at iPod mode, and then press and
hold CLOCK SYNC button to conduct clock synchronization.
3. During playback, press CLOCK VIEW button to check the current time, press the button
again to resume the previous display.
Note: The time only could be set on standby mode.
iPod/iPhone OPERATING
PLAYING AN iPod/iPhone
1. Dock the iPod/iPhone on to the unit. Power on the unit, then press SOURCE button
repeatedly to switch to iPod mode.
2. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to start or pause the playback.
3. Press TUN UP button on the unit or iPod+/TUN+ button on the remote to skip to the next
track; press and hold to search through the track forward.
4. Press TUN DOWN button on the unit or iPod-/TUN- button on the remote to skip to the
previous track; press and hold to search through the track backward.
5. Press MENU button on the remote to return back to the iPod menu, press navigate
UP/DOWN buttons to select your desired track for playback, press SELECT button to
confirm.

6. Press PLAYLIST UP/DOWN button to cycle through the playlists on the connected
iPod/iPhone.
7. Press ALBUM UP/DOWN button to select your desired album for playback on the
connected iPod/iPhone.
8. Press CHAPTER+/- button to select a corresponding chapter for playback.
9. Press and hold CLOCK VIEW/SHUFFLE button to enable or disable the shuffle function.
10. Press REPEAT/ST button repeatedly to cycle through the repeat options (repeat 1,
repeat album and repeat off).
FM RADIO
TUNING THE FM RADIO
1. Power on the unit, switch to TUNER(RADIO) mode by pressing SOURCE repeatedly.
2. Press TUN UP/DOWN button on the unit or TUN+/- button on the remote to fine tune
radio station. Press and hold TUN UP/DOWN button on the unit or TUN +/- button on the
remote to auto search radio station forward or backward respectively (When an available
station will be found, the unit will broadcast it immediately and the searching will be
stopped).
3. At radio mode, it is possible to access the frequency via numeric buttons on the remote
control. For example, press buttons 8, 9 and 8 to get to 89.8 MHz; If access a wrong
frequency, "ERROR" will display on the screen.
4. During radio playback, press REPEAT/ST button on the remote to switch between FM
STEREO and FM MONO modes.
STORING YOUR FAVORITE RADIO STATION
1. During playback, press and hold PLAY/PAUSE button on the unit or PLAY/PAUSE&TIME
SET/MEM button on the remote for storing the current station until memory cell number
"P01" flashes on the screen.
2. Use TUN UP/DOWN button on the unit or TUN+/- button on the remote to select the
corresponding memory cell among P01-P20 for storing the station.
3. Confirm your selection by pressing PLAY/PAUSE button on the unit or
PLAY/PAUSE&TIME SET/MEM button on the remote.
4. During radio playback, press PLAY/PAUSE button on the unit or PLAY/PAUSE&TIME
SET/MEM button on the remote repeatedly to recall the stored stations.
MUTE THE UNIT
During playback, press MUTE button to switch off the audio. Press the button again to
resume the audio.
VOLUME LEVEL/TREBLE/BASS ADJUSTMENT
Press VOLUME +/- button or TREBLE +/- button or BASS +/- button to adjust the volume
output level or treble effect or bass effect.
RESET BUTTON
When using the unit, you will come across some problems that the unit doesn't work or halt
accidentally; you can use a needle or a small, slender implement to poke the RESET button
in the rear of the player, the unit will turn off automatically and then please reboot the unit,
the unit will recover the normal mode.
DIMMER
During playback, press DIMMER button to adjust the light of the LCD screen.
CONNECTING WITH OTHER APPLIANCES
LINE IN
Follow steps to connect the unit to another audio device:
1. Connect the device into the player LINE IN jack with the LINE OUT cables.
2. Press POWER button to turn the unit on.
3. Press SOURCE button repeatedly to switch the unit to Line In mode.
4. Power on the device and begin play.

A/V INPUT
1. Connect the A/V jacks on the unit to audio&video source, for example, DVD player with
an RCA cable.
2. Press the POWER button to turn the unit on.
3. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to switch to AV mode.
4. Use the native controls on the connected audio&video device to begin playing music
through the connected the unit.
5. It may input audio source through the Audio Right&Left Jacks of the A/V Jacks to the unit
following above instructions.
COMPOSITE VIDEO OUTPUT
1. Connect a RCA cable to the Composite Video Output and a television.
2. Power on the TV set and the unit.
3. Adjust the connected television to the proper input setting.
4. Press VIDEO button repeatedly to switch between Composite and Component video
output modes.
5. Video from a docked iPhone/iPod or the connected DVD or the like can now be played
through the unit to the connected television.
Note: Make sure the docked iPhone or iPod’s TV out option is turned on.
COMPONENT VIDEO OUTPUT
The Component Video Output jacks only works at iPod mode. It cannot output video from
the A/V input.
1. Connect a component video cable to the Component Video Output jacks on the unit and a
television.
2. Adjust the connected television to the proper input setting and make sure the docked
iPhone or iPod’s TV out option is turned on.
3. Press VIDEO button on the remote to switch to Component video output modes.
4. Video from a docked iPhone/iPod can now be played through the bar speaker to the
connected television.
SUBWOOFER OUTPUT
The unit comes with a built-in subwoofer and allows you to output the subwoofer signal to an
external amplifier (such as a 2.1CH amplifier or 5.1/6.1/7.1CH amplifier or a 2.1CH micro
system) via the SUB OUTPUT jack on the rear of the unit. Follow the below steps to connect
the external amplifier:
1. Use a RCA cable to connect the external amplifier with a SUB INPUT jack to the Sub
Output jack on the unit.
2. Power on the unit and the external amplifier.
3. When audio is played through any source, the sound will be produced from the unit and
the connected external amplifier synchronously for enhancing the sound effect.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
yWhen the mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the
disconnect device shall remain readily operable. To be completely disconnected the
power input, the mains plug of the apparatus or the appliance coupler shall be
disconnected from the mains completely.

yMinimum distances 2.0cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. The ventilation
should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as
newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
yThe use of apparatus is in tropical and/or moderate climates.
yAttention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
yCAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type.
yBattery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
yThe marking plate is located at the back of the apparatus.
