PREPARATION BEFORE TREATMENT
1. Remove makeup and thoroughly cleanse skin before using this device.
2. Always apply ACTIVATION SERUM. The water-based and ion charged skin
care products will help increase the conductivity of current and maximize
eectiveness and results.
3. Apply more ACTIVATION SERUM if the skin becomes dry during treatment.
• Gently wipe the device down with a soft damp cloth when the device
becomes contaminated by any dirt and oils.
• Do not use too closely on the eyes and ears.

DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES
The SkinXpert is designed to solve problems of dry skin, oily skin, sensitive
skin and aged skin.
Note: Treatment time reects combined day + night usage.
Each function turns o automatically after 4 minutes.
• Daily treatment is advised for normal, dry and aged skin. For sensitive and oily
skin types, use the SkinXpert every 3-4 days. If your skin is very sensitive, use
the SkinXpert only once a week.
• As improvements are achieved, you can reduce the amount of usage for
continued maintenance.
• We recommend using the SkinXpert both in the morning and at night
following the suggested treatment time chart.
• Do not leave the SkinXpert on sensitive areas such as the eye contour and
mouth for a prolonged period of time.
• It is perfectly normal to feel a slight tingling sensation during treatments
caused by galvanic & micro-currents. Adjust intensity level to a comfortable
setting.
• To avoid skin irritation, we recommend NOT exposing treated skin to
excessive heat (i.e. blow drying, hot showers, sauna, steam, tanning) shortly
after treatment.

Upper Cheeks and Temples
• Position the Transmitter under your cheek bone, by your nose, and stay away
from inner eye sockets.
• Slowly glide the device from the nose upward and around the eyes towards
the temple.
• Repeat these steps for each area three (3) times on each side of the face.
• Glide the device slowly for maximum results.
Forehead (Corrugator and Orbicularis Oculi Muscles)
• Position the transmitter slightly above your brow.
• Slowly glide the device upward towards the hairline, across entire forehead,
and along the sides.
• Repeat three (3) times over each area.
• Repeat steps on both sides of face.
PREFERRED TREATMENT MOTION
FOR SPECIFIC AREAS
Lower and Middle Neck
• Position the Transmitter on one side of the lower neck by collar bone. Slowly
glide the SkinXpert from center towards the back. Repeat on other side.
Upper Neck
• Position the Transmitter on upper neck area (on one side) and right under the
jaw line.
• Slowly glide the device from center of neck towards ears.
• Repeat these steps for each area three (3) times.
Glide in slow upward motion.
Jaw Line
• Position the Transmitter on the chin.
• Slowly glide the device from the chin area and follow along the jaw line up to
the ears. Repeat on other side.
Lower Cheeks (Depressor Anguli Oris Muscle)
• Position the Transmitter slightly under your cheek bone, starting from the
corner of the mouth.
• Slowly glide the device from center of cheeks and follow along cheek bone
towards the ears.
Do Not Use The Device On:
• Mid line of neck (Adam’s apple)
• Mouth (circular muscle inside nasolabial fold)

1. What type of results will I see?
Based on both micro current and galvanic technology, SkinXpert allows
you to achieve professional home spa results in 16 minutes. Its specially
designed four-step-beauty system helps to draw out the impurities and
deliver benecial ingredients into deep for skin rejuvenating, wrinkle
removal, skin toning and lifting, more dened jaw line and cheekbone.
With prolonged use, the results are cumulative and enhance and last
longer.
2. How long can I see the results?
Usually it takes at least 2 weeks to see noticeable results. The results are
accumulated; each treatment builds upon the last. For enhanced results,
please use proper Dermovia skin care products for each step.
3. Do I have to use the four steps for 16 minutes
every time?
You can choose certain treatment step according to your skin type. To
maximize results, it is suggested to do dierent treatment times based on
the dierent skin type you have. You can nd the time that correlates to
your skin type in the section “Dierent Skin Types”.
4. When should I do the treatment, in the morning or night?
You may do the treatment at anytime that ts your schedule. SkinXpert
acts as an extension of your daily skincare regimen.
5. Can I do the treatment more than once a
day at home?
Any more often than once in a 24 hour period is not recommended as the
muscles need some rest time between treatments.
6. What kind of products do I need in order to maximize the
eect of SkinXpert?
SkinXpert emits dierent ions with dierent polarities for dierent
treatment step. The main theory is “Like charges repel each other while
the unlike charges attract each other”. In this case, to maximize the eects,
please use negative charged skin care products. The skin care products
used for the device are suggested to be water-based, because oil might
compromise the conductivity of the current as a whole.
7. What do I feel during treatment?
During the treatment, a slight tingling may be felt in certain areas. Facial
sensitivity varies from individual to individual. Please choose proper
intensity to your comfortable level. Then, you can feel the micro-vibration
massage.

8. The device vibrates at a certain frequency level during
treatments. Does the device still work during the vibration
intervals?
We designed the vibration at intervals to save battery energy. The ions
resulted from the gentle current is continuously working as long as a circuit
is formed between body and the device. A nger has to be placed on the
touch sensor conductor on the back of the device while the Transmitter is
touching the skin.
9. Will the device hurt?
The current used for SkinXpert is at a gentle frequency level that has a low
output and is safe for use.
10. Can I use SkinXpert if I have rosacea, acne, broken capillaries
or skin cancer?
SkinXpert can be used be on rosacea, acne and broken capillaries. We
recommend lowering the intensity of the device to avoid sensitivity. The
device should not be used if you have skin cancer or other severe skin
disorders. Consult your physician before use.
11. How long will the batteries last?
This depends on your amount of usage and brand of battery. Only use
AAA batteries.
12. Can we use it with other beauty devices?
Do not use other electrical beauty devices simultaneously (at the same
time) when using SkinXpert.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Over time, some spots may appear on the ion function sensors, but they do
not compromise the function or quality of the SkinXpert.
• The device is not waterproof. Do not place near liquids or submerge into
water. Do not use in the shower.
• After every treatment, wipe the device with a clean and slightly damp cloth.
Do not rinse o under running water.
• Do not clean the device with corrosive chemicals.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place and away from steam or high-moisture
areas.
• Device will malfunction if dropped or damaged by force.
• Replace batteries when device is not performing at an optimal power level.
• Do not disassemble or reassemble the device.
