is a self-contained ionic water detoxification system that cleanses your body from the inside like no other
detox system. It is easy to use and requires no special training to perform. It is an ion generating device
which uses electricity, stainless steel electrodes, salt and water to create a healthy and nourishing ionic
bath. It is used to cleanse, balance and enhance the bio-energy at a cellular level in your body.
Today, we are exposed to the greatest toxic load in the history of planet and ongoing periodic cleansing is
essential to maintain health. The detox foot bath machine, in combination with a healthy lifestyle, provides
a thorough and efficient way to maintain high energy levels and promote long term wellness. People from

This user manual has been created for the purpose of obtaining general information of the machine and
contents. The recommended usage and results may be different for every user.

CONTENTS
** Every unit will contain two array adapters for the detox arrays. This will allow the unit to work with two
types of arrays. The My Detox Foot Bath arrays by Commercial Bargains will require the adapter.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
My Detox Foot Bath machine is safe for most people. There may be other situations in which you should
not use this unit. Please consult your health care provider if you are uncertain. The following cannot have
the detox treatment nor use the detox accessories (wrist strap, array, waist belt, TENS pads):
Wearer of a pacemaker, or any other battery operated or electrical implant
Clients who do not respond to a muscle test, or who test weak to both polarities with their feet in
the water and with the unit turned on.
Those on heartbeat regulating medication and/or blood thinners. Or any medication that requires
the blood level to be maintained (example: blood pressure medication).
Organ transplant recipients.
Clients with organ removal, especially the colon.
Anyone on medication, the absence of which would cause mental or physical impairment, such as
psychotic episodes, seizures, etc.
Clients with low blood sugar should eat before receiving a session
Women who are pregnant or lactating (nursing).

Clients with epilepsy or undergoing any form of radiation or chemotherapy.
People with diabetes.
Not recommended for clients with open wounds on their feet or those who have hemophilia.
Not recommended for use by children.
ADDITIONAL WARNINGS & SAFTEY TIPS
Do not use in wet area, humid environment and in direct sunlight. Use only in a proper setting with
adequate light and ventilation. Put device on dry and stable place. Place at a certain height so that
it is easy to operate and to prevent water contact.
Do not use if machine or cord is damaged.
Do not place any other part of the body in the water, intended for feet and hand only.
Turn the machine off and unplug all devices (arrays, belts, straps) when not in use.
Adult supervision required for sessions with children and elderly.
Best if used with room temperature pure or tap water. Do not use mineral water.
Never eat or drink or use electronic devices while in session.
Recommended to removal jewelry before usage.
WHY DETOX?
Whether it’s from the environment, food we eat, air we breathe or water we drink, we are exposed daily
too many different toxins. We can reduce our exposure, but we can’t entirely stop toxins from entering our
body because there are so many of them polluting our planet. But, we can take measures to prevent
damage from occurring in our body. Many people also engage in harmful behaviors such as smoking and
alcohol consumption that put them at further risk of toxin build up.
While no process or modality can guarantee the prevention of these conditions, it is logical to assume that
an ongoing detoxification program –the act of minimizing toxic accumulations in the body –will reduce the
incidence of chronic degenerative disease and improve overall quality of life. Detoxifying the body has
been a familiar modality to all ancient healing traditions, including Ayurvedic, Chinese, and Native American
for thousands of years.
In today’s toxic environment, tissue acid wastes, chemical and heavy metal residues build up in the body
faster than ever before, resulting in a greater incidence of allergies as well as a whole range of mental and
physical ailments. To combat these increasing problems, herbal and homeopathic detoxification programs
as well as saunas are being offered by alternative health practitioners.
The Ion Detox Machine creates a naturally stimulating and relaxing detoxification session. The process of
water ionization and osmosis of energy ions helps the body release toxins.
GENERATING IONS
An Ion is a charged atom that has gained a magnetic field capable of attaching to and neutralizing charged
particles. These neutralized particles are extracted from the body though the process called osmosis.
Osmosis is a scientific term that is used to describe the movement of particles through a membrane from
an area of lower concentrations to an area of higher concentration. In this case, the higher concentration
refers to the ion field that is set up by placing the array into water while running the unit. The array is
placed into the water alongside the hands or feet while the power supply delivers a low level of direct
current to the array. This causes the metals within the array, in combination with water and salt to
generate positively and negatively charged ions by separating oxygen and hydrogen in the water. For the
purpose of this discussion, the process of positive and negative relate to electrical, rather than chemical
phenomena.

The practitioner determines the polarity setting through the use of litmus paper (pH strips) or muscle
testing. We speculate that ions generated by the Ion Detox Machine travels through the body attaching
themselves to a multitude of toxic substances, thereby neutralizing their positive or negative charge. It
may be possible to reduce pain and other symptoms caused by a lifetime of toxic buildup in the body
(assuming the symptoms are caused by toxic buildup). The long term effectiveness of detoxification
process depends on other life enhancing changes a person is willing to make.
When the Ion Detox Machine is set to positive, the current is directed to the positive pole, which results in
the production of more negative ions in the water. Therefore, a positive polarity generates a negative ion
flow which, we believe, raises blood pH from acidic toward alkaline. When the Ion Cell Cleanse is set to
negative, the current is directed to the negative pole, which results in the production of more positive ions
in the water. Therefore, negative polarity generates a positive ion flow which, we believe, lowers blood pH
from alkaline toward acidic.
Majority of the users experience a state of acidity. That is, their bodies possess an excess of hydrogen ions,
and their blood pH is lower than 7.45. These people will greatly benefit from exposure to high
concentrations of negatively charged ions. However, we have found through muscle testing, that most
people prefer a mixture of positive and negative ions in detox session.

USER INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully remove the machine from the case. Set the machine on a dry and stable surface. Check all
accessories of the machine and familiarize yourself with the parts and machine features.
1. Fill your plastic basin with warm to room temperature water (tap or distilled). The plastic basin is
sold separately. Please see our store for our options of plastic liners and basins:
www.mydetoxfootbath.com. Get your salt and have ready nearby.
2. Insert the power cord and array into corresponding jacks on the front and back of the main unit. Plug
the power cord into the wall outlet. If using the wristband and belt, insert the cord into the
corresponding jacks. Note: the metal of the wristband must be touching the skin. Insert the array in
the water basin.
3. If using the wristband, strap around your wrist making sure the metal of the wristband is touching the
skin. If using the waist belt, fasten the belt on your waist. If using the TENS pads, they can be place to
the meridian and joint of your body.
4. Select the desired mode for A and B: (POS：positive ion，NEG：negative ion). The higher the mode
the more powerful.
5. Press the A/B Time button to select the desired treatment time.
6. Press the START/STOP to start the treatment.
7. Press the ON/OFF button.
8. Press the lower A/B MODE button to select the desired TENS mode.
9. Press the button + or –to adjust the TENS intensity level.
10. Press the A/B Belt button to select the desired belt function.
Note:
Select the desired treatment mode before pressing the START/STOP button. Press the START/STOP
button to save all settings. Cannot be modified afterwards.
START/STOP button is supposed to control the upper A/B MODE and A/B Time button while the ON/OFF
is supposed to control the A/B MODE button the lower A/B MODE button and +/- button.
TENS refers to Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Simulation. It is the use of electric current produced by
the electrode plates to stimulate the nerves for therapeutic purposes, intending to reduce both acute
and chronic pain.

NOTES:
An alarm will flash below the LCD screen if the wristband is not worn or the metal part is not
touching the skin or if no feet/hand has been placed in the water basin.
If the ion concentration (shown on the bottom right corner) is less than 0.5 the alarm will show
“please add salt”flashing below the screen. It would be recommended to add a small amount of
salt (approximately 0.20-.50 grams). The normal range of lon concentration is about 2.00～2.50.
If the ion concentration (shown on the bottom right corner) is more 2.90, the alarm will show
“please add water”flashing below the screen, it would be recommended to add water to dilute or
change the water in the plastic basin.
It is optional to wear the waist belt and TENS Pads during the session.
Strap the far infrared waist belt on the waist or thigh. Press“BELT A”or “BELT B”button of
panel to start，then adjust the working mode for“L．M．H．”
Attach the TENS PADS to a meridian or joint of body. Press the switch of“ON／OFF A”“ON／
OFF B”button on the panel. Then adjust the working mode and the intensity level accordingly to
your preference using the button‘+ or –‘

It is recommended to sit on a wooden chair or sofa. No contact with metal or use of electronic
devices.
The Ion concentration will be shown on LCD display after you place your feet in the water and
power is turned on. If the ion concentration is less than 0.50, it is recommended to add some salt
to increase the speed of energy release. Low ion concentration may be caused by the water supply
(regional toxicity) and from the body constitution.
Do not add salt to the water until needed. If salt is needed, add it slowly to the water in the basin.
Allow time for the ion concentration to increase before adding more salt. We recommend using
sea salt or Himalayan salt.
COLORS AND OBJECTS IN THE WATER
During the course of your ion Detox foot spa session, the unit's water will most likely change color and bits of
foreign matter may appear as sediment (toxins being released with the foot bath). This is to be expected. The
water color change in the foot spa is caused by a reaction between the toxins being released from a user's body
and particles in the water supply, salt added to the water, the metals in the ionizer and the acidity or alkalinity
of the user.
Please note that the color produced by the aforementioned reactions will depend, to a certain extent, on the
user’s food & lifestyle, chemical impurities of the water in your geographic area and existing health condition.
The toxins in our bodies will look the same as the toxins predominant to a specific area. There will be more toxic
particles in the water with a person’s feet submerged in it. One will also find that the water based toxins will
not stick to the side of the basin and array, whereas the substances pulled from the body will form a sticky
ring/residue.
The following table shows what we believe are the meanings of the color changes. Note: chart is for reference
and informational purposes only.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The array housing will attract and hold debris from the detox sessions. It is highly recommended to clean
them after every session with disinfectant or a mixture of water and vinegar. Dip the array in a solution
mixture of 1 part vinegar to 2 quarts warm water for a couple of minutes. Then brush the array to remove
access particles and rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. We recommend using the detox array
cleaning brushes –which are available in our online store: www.mydetoxfootbath.com. Array must be
completely dry before storage.
To clean the accessories, carefully wipe down with an alcohol based wipe. Do not submerge the waist belt;
wrist strap or TENS pads in water. Dry completely before storing them.

only covers defects in material and workmanship. If the unit has been subjected to tampering, alteration, or
improper use after delivery –it will not qualify for warranty replacement or repair. To make a warranty claim,
please send us an email describing the problem/defect. We will issue a Return Authorization Number and return
instructions. The unit must be packed in original case with all contents enclosed. Warranty is for original
