JS-602 Job Separator
INSTALLATION MANUAL

1. Outline of installation procedures
When installing the Finisher FS-537SD/FS-537 and
associated options as a system, follow the order
shown on the upper.
Note:
• For the detailed installation procedures for each
option, follow the instructions given in the corre-
sponding installation manual and perform the
procedures correctly.
<Only when installing this option to the Finisher
FS-537SD/FS-537>
• When mounting the Job Separator JS-602,
mount it before mounting the Finisher FS-
537SD/FS-537 to the main body.
<Only when installing this option to the Finisher
FS-535/FS-526>
• If the finisher has the punch kit installed, pre-
pare a short screwdriver that is used in install-
ing the job separator.
• When mounting the Job Separator JS-602,
mount it before mounting the Finisher FS-535/
FS-526 to the main body.
• When mounting the Punch Kit PK-521/PK-516
at the same time, mount the Job Separator JS-
602 first.

option to the Finisher FS-537SD/FS-537.

the Finisher FS-537SD/FS-537.
Note:
• This manual provides the illustrations of the
accessory parts and machine that may be
slightly different in shape from yours. In that
case, instead of the illustrations, use the
appearance of your machine to follow the
installation procedure. This does not cause any
significant change or problem with the proce-
dure.
• If none of the later steps instruct you to use the
parts including screw and cover that you
removed following the instructions described in
this manual, discard them.
3. Installation Procedures
<Installations to the Finisher FS-537SD/FS-537>
(1) Turn OFF the power switch and unplug the
power cord from the power outlet.
(2) Remove all tape and packing brackets.

(3) Remove the three caps and three screws, and
remove the upper cover (small).
Note:
Discard two each of the removed caps and
screws.
(4) Remove the five caps and five screws, and
remove the upper cover (large).
(5) Attach the supplied mounting plates A/B to the
finisher as shown in the illustration. (Six supplied
screws A)
(6) Reinstall the upper cover (large) removed in step
(4). (Five caps and five screws removed in step
(4))
(7) Attach one piece of sponge to the finisher as
shown in the illustration.

(8) Secure the job separator and connect the
hookup cord to the finisher. (Two supplied
screws B)
(9) Remove the piece shown in the illustration from
the upper cover (small) removed in step (3).
(10) Install the cover removed in step (9). (One cap
and one screw removed in step (3))
(11) Install the front cover.
Note:
First insert the hook ➀and then insert the hook ➁
in order into the holes.
(12) Install the rear cover.
Note:
First insert the hook ➀and then insert the hook ➁
in order into the holes.

(13) Attach the supplied spacer to the job separator
as shown in the illustration.
(14) Fit the exit tray.
* The installation procedure for the Finisher
FS-537SD/FS-537 is complete.
<Installations to the Finisher FS-535/FS-526>
(1) Turn OFF the power switch and unplug the
power cord from the power outlet.
(2) Remove all tape and packing brackets.
(3) Remove two screw covers and two screws, and
remove the upper cover (small).

(4) Remove three screw covers from the upper
cover (large) and remove three screws.
(5) Open the front door of the finisher and remove
two screws that hold the upper cover (large).
(6) Remove the upper cover (large).
(7) Attach the supplied arm to the lever of the fin-
isher as shown in the illustration.
(8) Attach the supplied mounting plates A/B to the
finisher as shown in the illustration. (Six supplied
screws A)
Note:
When installing the mounting plate A, pass the
arm through the hole on the mounting plate A.
(9) To install the upper cover (large) removed in
steps (4) to (6), reverse the removal procedure.

(10) Attach two pieces of sponge to the finisher as
shown in the illustration.
(11) Secure the job separator and connect the
hookup cord to the finisher. (Two supplied
screws B)
(12) Install the front cover.
Note:
First insert the hook ➀and then insert the hook ➁
in order into the holes.
(13) Install the rear cover.
Note:
First insert the hook ➀and then insert the hook ➁
in order into the holes.
(14) Attach the supplied spacer to the job separator
as shown in the illustration.

(15) Fit the exit tray.
(16) Open the finisher front door and affix the sup-
plied label as shown in the illustration.
