Safety Symbols
This table depicts and describes safety symbols that may appear on this product. Read, understand and follow all instructions on the tractor before attempting to assemble and operate.

General Operation
1. Read, understand and follow all instructions on your equipment and in their manuals before
attempting to assemble and operate. Keep this manual in a safe place for future and regular
reference and for ordering replacement parts.
2. To help avoid blade contact or a thrown object injury, keep bystanders, helpers, children
and pets at least 75 feet (23 meters) from the tractor while it is in operation. Stop tractor if
anyone enters the area.
3. Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used. Remove all stones, sticks,
wire, bones, toys and other foreign objects which could be picked up and thrown by the
blade(s). Thrown objects can cause serious personal injury.
4. Always wear safety glasses or safety goggles during operation and while performing an
adjustment or repair to protect your eyes. Thrown objects which ricochet can cause serious
injury to the eyes.
5. Do not operate the tractor without the discharge cover or entire grass catcher in its proper
place. A missing or damaged discharge cover or grass bag attachment component may result
in thrown objects or blade contact injuries.
6. Do not put hands or feet near rotating parts or under the cutting deck. Contact with the
blade(s) can amputate hands and feet.
7. Shut off tractor’s engine and wait for blades to come to a complete stop before unclogging
tractor’s discharge opening or bagger parts.
8. Slow down before turning. Operate the tractor smoothly. Avoid erratic operation and
excessive speed. Be aware that a grass catcher attachment can affect the handling
characteristics of your tractor.
9. Disengage blade(s), set parking brake, stop engine and wait until the blade(s) come to a
complete stop before opening bagger attachment’s top cover, removing grass catcher,
emptying grass, unclogging chute, removing any grass or debris or making any adjustments.
Never leave a running tractor unattended. Always turn off blade(s), place transmission in
neutral, set parking brake, stop engine and remove key before dismounting.
10. Your tractor is designed to cut normal residential grass. Do not attempt to mow through
unusually tall, dry grass (e.g., pasture) or piles of dry leaves. Dry grass or leaves may contact
the engine exhaust and/or build up on the tractor deck presenting a potential fire hazard.
11. If situations occur which are not covered in this manual, use care and good judgment.
Contact your customer service representative for assistance.
Slope Operation
Slopes are a major factor related to loss of control and tip-over accidents which can result in severe
injury or death. Attachments can also affect the stability of the tractor. All slopes require extra
caution.
For your safety, use the slope gauge included as part of this manual to estimate the angle of slopes
before operating this tractor on a sloped or hilly area. If the slope is greater than 10 degrees or 17
percent as shown on the slope gauge, do not operate the tractor with the grass bag attachment
installed on that area or serious injury could result.
Do:
1. Mow up and down slopes, not across. Exercise extreme caution when changing direction
on slopes.
2. Watch for holes, ruts, bumps, rocks or other hidden objects. Uneven terrain could overturn
the tractor. Tall grass can hide obstacles.
3. Use slow speed. Choose a low enough speed setting so that you will not have to stop or shift
while on the slope. Tires may lose traction on slopes even though the brakes are functioning
properly. Always keep tractor in gear when going down slopes to take advantage of engine
braking action.
4. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for wheel weights or counterweights to
improve stability. Keep all movement on the slopes slow and gradual. Do not make sudden
changes in speed or direction. Rapid engagement or braking could cause the front of the
tractor to lift and rapidly flip over backwards which could cause serious injury.
5. Avoid starting or stopping on a slope. If tires lose traction, disengage the blade(s) and
proceed slowly straight down the slope.
Do Not:
1. Do not turn on slopes unless necessary; then, turn slowly and gradually downhill, if possible.
2. Do not mow near drop-offs, ditches or embankments. The tractor could suddenly turn over if
a wheel is over the edge of a cliff, ditch or if an edge caves in.
3. Do not try to stabilize the tractor by putting your foot on the ground.
4. Do not use a grass catcher on steep slopes.
5. Do not mow on wet grass. Reduced traction could cause sliding.
General Service
1. Before cleaning, repairing or inspecting, make certain the blade(s) and all moving parts
have stopped. Disconnect the spark plug wire and ground against the engine to prevent
unintended starting.
2. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition.
3. Never tamper with your tractor’s safety interlock system or other safety devices. Check their
proper operation regularly.
4. Never attempt to make adjustments or repairs while the tractor’s engine is running.
5. Grass catcher components and the discharge cover are subject to wear and damage which
could expose moving parts or allow objects to be thrown. For safety protection, frequently
check components and replace immediately with original equipment manufacturer’s
(O.E.M.) parts only, listed in this manual. Use of parts which do not meet the original
equipment specifications may lead to improper performance and compromise safety!
6. Maintain or replace safety and instruction labels, as necessary.

IF A SLOPE IS TOO STEEP FOR SAFE OPERATION!
To check the slope, proceed as follows: 1. Remove this page and fold along the dashed line. 2. Locate a vertical object on or behind the slope (e.g. a pole, building, fence, tree, etc.) 3. Align either side of the slope gauge with the object (See Figure 1 and Figure 2 ). 4. Adjust gauge up or down until the left corner touches the slope (See Figure 1 and Figure 2). 5. If there is a gap below the gauge, the slope is too steep for safe operation (See Figure 2 above).

WARNING
Slopes are a major factor related to tip-over and roll-over accidents which can result in severe injury or death. DO NOT operate tractor on slopes in excess of 10 degrees/17 percent. All slopes require extra caution. If you cannot back up the slope or if you feel uneasy on it, do not mow it. Always mow up and down slopes, never across the face of slopes.

NOTE : Refrences to the left, right, front, and rear of the tractor are from the opporator’s position,
unless stated otherwise.
• Before mounting, place the tractor on a firm, level surface, disengage the
PTO, stop the tractor engine and set the parking brake.
NOTE : Make sure the ROPS bar is in the top position before mounting.
NOTE : The following steps require the use of a 1/2” socket and wrench.

Install Top Bagger
With the mounting brackets
assembled and in place on the
tractor, follow these steps to
assemble the remaining bagger
components.
1. If not already installed by the
factory, snap the vent cover
into the holes found on the
chute support assembly.
2. Snap the upper chute support
(731-17272) in place by first
clipping the side portion onto
the hanger assembly rail (1) as
shown in Figure 7.
3. Snap the front side of the
upper chute support to the
hanger assembly rail (2) as
shown in Figure 7.
4. Attach the deflector (731-18471)
to the upper chute support using
the three (3) screws supplied in
hardware pack 689-02299. See
Figure 8.
5. If not already installed by the
factory, install the bagger screen
(731-06504) into the bagger cover
(631-06539) by first inserting one
end into the corresponding cutout
mounting hole. Make sure to feed
screen under lip, as shown in Figure 9.
6. Install the bagger cover onto the hanger assembly, as seen in Figure 10.
The cover goes inside the two mounting tabs.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
7. Slide the hinge pin (711-05079) into the hole located on the mounting tab, as
shown in Figure 11. Use the cut-out windows (see inset in Figure 11) to line up
the hinge pin on the other side and push pin all the way in until it reaches the
end-stop. At this point the pin clips into place and is secured by a tab in the
bagger cover.
8. Open hood by pushing in on the
rear, right-side tab with your right hand (1), and lifting the cover with your
left hand in the center rear of the bagger cover (2) as shown in Figure 12.
9. Install all three bag assemblies (664-05681) onto the hanger assembly by
inserting the front edge in first (1), and then setting the back edge down until
it fits into the assembly (2), as shown in Figure 13.
Installing the Boot Assembly - 48” Triple Bagger
1. With the tractor’s
outer and inner
discharge chutes
raised up and held
open (1), install the
boot assembly (819-
011300) by placing
the hole on the boot
assembly bracket on
the tab located on
the top, right rear
of the deck (2), as
shown in Figure 14.
2. Pivot the boot
assembly forward,
sliding under the
discharge chutes
raised in Step 2, until the pin on the boot assembly bracket aligns with the
slot on the deck. See (3) in Figure 14.
NOTE :You should hear a click when the center tab on the boot assembly bracket snaps into
place on the deck.
3. Secure the boot assembly to the cutting deck using wing knob (720-04122)
from hardware pack 689-02619. See inset of Figure 14.
NOTE :The inner and outer spring-loaded discharge chutes will remain propped on the boot
assembly bracket, creating a seal between the deck and the boot assembly.
Installing the Boot Assembly - 54”/60” Triple Bagger
1. Raise the deck to its
highest position.
2. With the tractor’s
outer and inner
discharge chutes
raised up and held
open (1), install the
boot assembly (819-
011280) by placing
the hole on the boot
assembly bracket on
the tab located on
the top, right rear
of the deck (2), as
shown in Figure 15.
3. Pivot the boot assembly forward, sliding under the discharge chutes raised in
Step 2, until the pin on the boot assembly bracket aligns with the slot on the
deck. See (3) in Figure 15.
NOTE: You should hear a click when the center tab on the boot assembly bracket snaps into
place on the deck.
4. Secure the boot assembly to the cutting deck using wing knob (720-04122)
from hardware pack 689-02619. See inset of Figure 15.
NOTE: The inner and outer spring-loaded discharge chutes will remain propped on the boot
assembly bracket, creating a seal between the deck and the boot assembly.
Installing the Hose
1. Thread the upper end of the
hose (764-05275) securely
into the upper chute
support. There are two tabs
on the lower inside part of
the upper chute support to
allow for secure threading.
See Figure 16.
NOTE: The hose and upper chute
support are left-hand threaded.
Thread counterclockwise until
secure.
2. Slide the hose over the boot
assembly mounted on the cutting
deck, as shown in Figure 17.
3. Make sure the connection is
secure and there are no gaps
between the hose and the boot
assembly.
4. If open, close the grass catcher
cover prior to mowing.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Install The Counter Weight and Foorplate
WARNING
This front-weight kit is required when operating any compatible zero-turn
tractor models equipped with a grass collector. Failure to install this kit
may result in serious injury or death.
WARNING
Before beginning installation, place the zero-turn tractor on a firm and
level surface, set the parking brake, place the PTO in the disengaged
(OFF) position, stop the motor and remove the ignition key to prevent
unintended starting.
NOTE : The following steps require the use of a T-40 Torx drive and 1/2” socket for footplate removal
and re-installation, and a 9/16” socket and wrench for weight kit assembly and installation.
1. To install the RZT bagger
weight, you will have to
remove the footplate.
In figure 18, remove
the screws (710-3085)
indicated by unscrewing
the 4 nuts (712-04065)
that are holding them in
place.
2. Attach the RZT bagger
weight (719-04271A) and
three weight plates (789-
02137) to the weight
hanger brackets (Left -
789-04077, Right - 789-04078)
with two 3/8” hex head
capscrews (710-3085) and two
nus (712-04065) as shown in
Figure 19.
3. Visually center the weight bar
assembly on the tractor and using
two 7/16” hex head capscrews
(710-3279) and two nuts (712-04065) secure the counter weight assembly
to the tractor as shown in
Figure 20.
4. As shown in Figure 21,
place the footplate (703-
26752) onto the left and
right handle of the bracket
(703-24845) so that the
two holes on each side
align. Revearse the process
you used to remove the
footplate.

OPERATION
Triple Bagger Usage
NOTE: When all grass bags are full, place the tractor on a firm, level surface, disengage the PTO, turn
the tractor engine off and set the parking brake.
1. Open hood by pushing in on the rear, right-side tab with your right hand (1),
and lifting the cover with your left hand in the center rear of the bagger
cover (2) as shown in Figure 22.
2. Do not remove the hose assembly from the tractor.
3. Remove the three bag assemblies from the bag support brackets by lifting
the front edge up first, and then sliding the back edge out and up until it is
clear of the frame. See Figure 23.
4. Empty grass clippings at a proper disposal site, use the handle at the bottom
of each grass bag. Holding the bag firmly, empty the contents.
5. Replace grass bags, close lid, restart your tractor, release parking brake and
resume cutting your grass.

LIMITED WARRANTY
The limited warranty set forth herein is given by MTD LLC with respect to new
attachments and/or accessories (hereinafter “Attachments”) purchased and
used in the United States and/or Canada to the Initial Purchaser (as defined
herein). For Canadian sales, the warranty is provided by MTD Products
Limited.
Scope of the Limited Warranty
MTD LLC offers the following limited warranty to the Initial Purchaser for
residential or otherwise non-commercial use: except for the Exclusions
(defined herein), during the Warranty Period (as defined herein), this
Attachment will be free from manufacturing defects (including workmanship
and materials). The “Initial Purchaser” is the first person to purchase this new
Attachment from an authorized MTD dealer, distributor and/or retailer of such
products. This limited warranty is non-transferrable. Except as otherwise set
forth herein, the limited warranty period for this new Attachment purchased
by the Initial Purchaser is one (1) year from the date of purchase as shown on
the original sales receipt for the product (“Warranty Period”).
Defects in Workmanship or Materials
Except for the Exclusions, this Attachment is warranted to be free
from manufacturing defects in either workmanship or materials for
the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, MTD LLC will, at its
option, either repair or replace any original part that is covered by this
limited warranty and is determined to be defective in workmanship or
material.
To qualify for this limited warranty this Attachment:
1. Must have been purchased from an authorized retailer.
2. Must have been purchased within the United States or Canada by the
Initial Purchaser.
3. Must have been used for residential purposes only.
4. Must have been used in a manner consistent with the normal and
proper intended use for this Attachment. This Attachment is not
intended for rental or commercial use.
Who can perform repairs under this warranty?
In order to qualify for the limited warranty as set forth herein, the repairs
made under this warranty must be performed by an authorized MTD service
provider.
How to get service under this limited warranty:

dealer, distributor, or retailer or contact MTD LLC at P.O. Box 361131, Cleveland,

mtdproducts.com. In Canada, contact MTD Products Limited, Kitchener, ON
N2G 4J1, or call 1-800-668-1238 or log on to our Web site at www.mtdcanada.
com. This limited product warranty is provided by MTD LLC and is the only
product warranty provided by MTD LLC for this Attachment. A COPY OF YOUR
SALES RECEIPT IS REQUIRED FOR WARRANTY SERVICE.
What this limited warranty does not cover.
This limited warranty does not cover the following (the “Exclusions”):
1. Product purchased outside of the United States or Canada.
2. Damage due to lack of maintenance and/or improper maintenance as
described in the operator’s manual
3. Normal wear and tear resulting from use of the product.
4. Any expendable, consumable, or routine maintenance item which needs
replacement or service as part of normal maintenance, unless such items
have defects that cause failure or premature wear within the first thirty
(30) days of purchase. Normal wear items include but are not limited to,
tires, fuses, blades, batteries, belts, hoses, string trimmer line, engine oil,
hydraulic oil, grass bags, and other consumable items where applicable,
or adjustments, such as clutch, brake or deck adjustments or tune-ups.
5. Use of the product that is not consistent with the intended use
thereof as described in the operating instructions, including, but not
limited to, abuse, misuse and/or neglect of the Attachment or any use
inconsistent with and/or non-compliant with instructions contained in
the Operator’s Manual.
6. Any Attachment that has been altered or modified in a manner not
consistent with the original design of the Attachment or in a manner
not approved by MTD LLC.
7. Paint repairs or replacements for defective paint (including materials
and application) are covered for a period of three (3) months; provided
however, that this limited warranty for defective paint does not apply
to and shall not cover damage(s) to the paint application resulting from
exposure to weather conditions and/or resulting from normal use of the
Attachment, including misuse.
This warranty does not cover and MTD LLC disclaims any responsibility for:
1. Loss of time or loss of use of the Attachment.
2. Transportation costs and other expenses incurred in connection with
the transport of the Attachment to and from the authorized MTD
service provider.
3. Any loss or damage to other equipment or personal items.
4. Damages caused by improper maintenance or the use of other than the
specified fuel, oil or lubricants as approved in the operator’s manual.
5. Damage resulting from the installation or use of any accessory or part
not approved by MTD for use with the Attachment.
Limitations:
1. THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED

Funcionamiento general
1. Lea, comprenda y respete todas las instrucciones que figuran en el equipo y en los manuales antes de
intentar armarlo y hacerlo funcionar. Guarde este manual en un lugar seguro para consultas futuras y
periódicas, así como para solicitar repuestos.
2. Para ayudar a evitar una lesión por contacto con las cuchillas o con un objeto que sea arrojado,
mantenga a los observadores, a los ayudantes, a niños y mascotas alejados a no menos de 75 pies de la
cortadora mientras está funcionando. Pare la tractora si alguien ingresa a la zona.
3. Revise minuciosamente el área donde se va a usar el equipo. Saque todas las piedras, palos, cables,
huesos, juguetes y demás objetos extraños que puedan ser recogidos y arrojados por las cuchilla(s). Los
objetos arrojados por la tractora pueden producir lesiones personales graves.
4. Para protegerse los ojos, utilice siempre anteojos o antiparras de seguridad durante la operación o
mientras realiza ajustes o reparaciones. Los objetos arrojados que rebotan pueden producir lesiones
graves en los ojos.
5. Nunca opere la cortadora de césped si no está bien colocada la cubierta de descarga o el colector de
césped completo. Si falta la cubierta de descarga o está dañada o un componente del accesorio de
embolsadora falta, se pueden producir lesiones por contacto con la cuchilla o con objetos arrojados.
6. No ponga las manos ni los pies cerca de las piezas rotatorias ni debajo de la plataforma de corte. El
contacto con las cuchilla(s) puede amputar manos y pies.
7. Apague el motor de la cortadora de césped y espere que las cuchillas se detengan totalmente antes de
desbloquear la abertura de descarga de la cortadora o las piezas de la embolsadora.
8. Reduzca la velocidad antes de girar. Haga funcionar la tractora de manera uniforme. Evite que funcione
de manera errática y a excesiva velocidad. Tenga en cuenta que el accesorio colector de césped puede
afectar las características de manejo de su cortadora.
9. Desenganche la o las cuchilla(s), coloque el freno de mano, detenga el motor y espere hasta que las
cuchillas se detengan totalmente antes de abrir la cubierta superior del accesorio embolsador, sacar
el colector de césped, vaciar los recortes, desbloquear el canal, retirar cualquier residuo o desecho
o realizar cualquier ajuste. Nunca deje la tractora encendida sin atención. Siempre desconecte las
cuchillas, ponga la transmisión en punto muerto, ponga el freno de mano, detenga el motor y retire la
llave antes de bajarse del vehículo.
10. Su tractora está diseñada para cortar césped residencial normal. No intente cortar césped demasiado
crecido, seco (como un pastizal) ni pilas de hojas secas. El césped o las hojas secas pueden entrar en
contacto con el escape del motor y/o acumularse en la plataforma de corte presentando un potencial
peligro de incendio.
11. Si se presentan situaciones que no están previstas en este manual, tenga cuidado y use el sentido
común. Póngase en contacto con su representante de atención al cliente para obtener ayuda.
Operación en pendientes
Las pendientes son un factor importante en los accidentes ocasionados por pérdida de control y vuelcos que
pueden causar lesiones graves e incluso la muerte. Los accesorios también pueden afectar la estabilidad de la
tractora. Todas las pendientes requieren precaución extra.
Para su seguridad, use el medidor de pendientes que se incluye como parte de este manual para calcular el
ángulo de las pendientes antes de hacer funcionar la tractora en una zona accidentada. Si la pendiente aparece
como mayor de 10 grados o 17 porcentaje en el medidor, no haga funcionar la cortadora con el accesorio para
bolsas de césped en ese sector, pues podría causar lesiones graves.
Si:
1. Corte hacia arriba y abajo de las pendientes, no en forma transversal. Tenga sumo cuidado al cambiar
de dirección en una pendiente.
2. Esté atento a los hoyos, surcos, baches, rocas, u otros objetos ocultos. El terreno desnivelado puede
voltear la tractora. El césped alto puede ocultar obstáculos.
3. Conduzca a baja velocidad. Seleccione una velocidad lo suficientemente baja como para que no necesite
detenerse o cambiar de marcha estando en pendiente. Los neumáticos pueden perder tracción en las
pendientes aun cuando los frenos funcionen correctamente. Siempre mantenga la tractora en cambio
mientras desciende una pendiente para poder frenar con el motor.
4. Siga las recomendaciones del fabricante sobre los pesos o contrapesos de las ruedas para mejorar la
estabilidad. Haga que todos los movimientos en las pendientes sean lentos y graduales. No realice
cambios bruscos de velocidad o dirección. Hacer un cambio o frenar repentinamente puede hacer que el
frente de la tractora se levante y vuelque rápidamente hacia atrás dando lugar a lesiones graves.
5. Evite arrancar o detenerse en una pendiente. Si las ruedas pierden tracción, desacople las cuchillas y
descienda la pendiente lentamente.
No:
1. No gire en pendiente a menos que sea necesario; si lo hace, gire lenta y gradualmente cuesta abajo, si
es posible.
2. No corte el césped cerca de barrancos, zanjas o terraplenes. La cortadora puede volcarse
repentinamente si una de las ruedas pasa el borde de un acantilado o zanja o si se desmorona un borde.
3. No intente estabilizar la tractora poniendo el pie en el suelo.
4. No utilice colector de césped en pendientes empinadas.
5. No corte el césped húmedo. La falta de tracción puede hacer que patine.
Servicio general
1. Antes de limpiar, reparar o inspeccionar la tractora, compruebe que la(s) cuchilla(s) y todas las piezas
móviles se hayan detenido. Desconecte el cable de la bujía y póngalo haciendo tierra contra el motor
para evitar que se encienda accidentalmente.
2. Mantenga todos los pernos, tuercas y tornillos bien ajustados para asegurarse que la tractora se
encuentra en condiciones seguras de operación.
3. Nunca intente violar el sistema de bloqueo de seguridad u otros mecanismos de seguridad de la
cortadora. Compruebe regularmente que estos elementos funcionen correctamente.
4. No intente nunca hacer ajustes o reparaciones a la cortadora mientras el motor está en marcha.
5. Los componentes del colector de césped y la cubierta de descarga están sujetos a desgaste y daños
que podrían dejar expuestas piezas que se mueven o permitir que se arrojen objetos. Para proteger su
seguridad, verifique frecuentemente los componentes y reemplácelos inmediatamente por piezas del
fabricante del equipo original (O.E.M.) solamente que se indican en este manual. El uso de piezas que

NOTA :Las referencias a la izquierda, la derecha, la parte delantera y la parte trasera del tractor se

• Antes del montaje, coloque el tractor en una superficie firme y nivelada,
desactive la toma de fuerza, detenga el motor del tractor y ponga el freno de
estacionamiento.
NOTA : Asegúrate de que la barra de ROPS esté en la posición superior antes del montaje.

(736-0242) y tres tuercas de bloqueo de brida (712- 04063) del paquete de
hardware 689-02805. Vea la Figura 6.

lugar primero sujetando
la parte lateral al riel del
conjunto de la embolsadora
(1) como se indica en la
Figura 7.
3. Calce a presión el lado delantero
del soporte del canal superior al
riel del conjunto del colgador (2),
como se muestra en la Figura 7.
4. Sujete el deflector (731-18471) al
soporte del canal superior usando
los tres (3) tornillos proporcionados
en el paquete de herrajes 689-
02299. Consulte la Figura 8.
5. Si no viene ya instalada de
fábrica, coloque la pantalla de la
embolsadora (731-06504) en la cubierta de la misma (631-06539) insertando
primero un extremo en el orificio de montaje de corte. Asegúrese de calzar la
pantalla debajo del reborde, como se indica en la Figura 9.
6. Instale la cubierta de la embolsadora en el conjunto del colgador, como se ve
en Figura 10. La cubierta va dentro de las dos lengüetas de montaje.

7. Deslice el pasador de bisagra (711-05079) en el orificio ubicado en la
lengüeta de montaje, como se indica en la Figura 11. Use las ventanas
recortadas (consulte el recuadro de la Figura 11) para alinear el pasador de
bisagra del otro lado y empújelo hasta que llegue al tope. En este punto
el pasador calza en su posición y queda asegurado por una lengüeta en la
cubierta de la embolsadora.
8. Abra la cubierta empujando hacia adentro la lengüeta posterior derecha con
la mano derecha (1), y levantando la cubierta con la mano izquierda en la
parte posterior central de la cubierta de la embolsadora (2), como se indica
en la Figur 12.
9. Coloque los tres conjuntos de bolsas (664-05681) en el conjunto de colgador
insertando primero el borde delantero (1), y luego ajustando el borde
posterior hacia abajo hasta que calce en el conjunto (2) como se muestra en
la Figur 13.

del conjunto del maletero en la lengüeta que está en la parte superior derecha
trasera de la plataforma (2), como se indica en la Figura 14.
2. Gire el conjunto del maletero hacia adelante, deslizando debajo de los
canales de descarga elevados en el Paso 2, hasta que el pasador del soporte
del conjunto del maletero quede alineado con las ranuras de la plataforma.
Consulte el punto (3) en la Figura 14.
NOTA :Debería escuchar un clic cuando la lengüeta central del soporte del conjunto del
maletero encaja a presión en su lugar en la plataforma.
3. Sujete el conjunto del maletero a la plataforma de corte usando la perilla de
aletas (720-04122) del paquete de herrajes 689-02619. Consulte el recuadro
de la Figura 14.
NOTA : Los canales de descarga interior y exterior accionados por resorte quedarán insertados
en el soporte del conjunto del maletero, creando un sello entre la plataforma y el conjunto del
maletero.

orificio del soporte
del conjunto del
maletero en la
lengüeta que está
en la parte superior
derecha trasera de la
plataforma (2), como
se indica en la Figura 15.
3. Gire el conjunto del maletero hacia adelante, deslizando debajo de los
canales de descarga elevados en el Paso 2, hasta que el pasador del soporte
del conjunto del maletero quede alineado con las ranuras de la plataforma.
Consulte el punto (3) de la Figura 15.
NOTA :Debería escuchar un clic cuando la lengüeta central del soporte del conjunto del
maletero encaja a presión en su lugar en la plataforma.
4. Sujete el conjunto del maletero a la plataforma de corte usando la perilla de
aletas (720-04122) del paquete de herrajes 689-02619. Consulte el recuadro
de la Figura 15.
NOTA :Los canales de descarga interior y exterior accionados por resorte quedarán insertados en el
soporte del conjunto del maletero, creando un sello entre la plataforma y el conjunto del maletero.
Instalación de la manguera
1. Enrosque el extremo
superior de la manguera
(764-05275) firmemente en
el soporte del canal
superior. Hay dos lengüetas
en la parte interior baja del
soporte del canal superior
que permiten un enrosque
seguro. Consulte la Figur 16.
NOTA :La manguera y el soporte
del canal superior se enroscan
hacia la izquierda. Enrosque en sentido
contrario a las agujas del reloj hasta
asegurarlo.
2. Deslice la manguera sobre el
conjunto del maletero montado
en la plataforma de corte, como se
ilustra en la Figura 17.
3. Asegúrese de que la conexión sea
segura y de que no haya espacios
entre la manguera y el canal del
maletero.
4. Si está abierta, cierre la cubierta
del colector de césped, previo al corte de césped.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Instale el contrapeso
ADVERTENCIA
El kit de peso delantero se requiere cuando se operan modelos de tractor de giro
cero compatibles equipados con un colector de césped. Si no se instala este kit se
pueden provocar lesiones graves o la muerte.
ADVERTENCIA
Antes de comenzar la instalación, coloque el tractor de radio de giro cero sobre una
superficie firme y nivelada, coloque el freno de mano, coloque la toma de fuerza
(PTO) en la posición desconectada, pare el motor y quite la llave de encendido para
impedir que lo arranquen accidentalmente.
NOTA : Los siguientes pasos requieren el uso de una unidad T-40 Torx y un enchufe de 1/2”
para la remoción y reinstalación de la placa de pie, y un enchufe de 9/16” y una llave para el
montaje e instalación del kit de peso.
1. Para instalar el peso
del embolsador RZT,
tendrás que quitar
la placa de pie. En
la figura 18, retire
los tornillos (710-
3085) indicados
destornillando las 4
tuercas (712-04065)
que los sostienen en
su lugar.
2. Fije el peso del embolsador RZT (719-04271A) y tres platos de peso (789-
02137) a los soportes del colgador de peso (Izquierda - 789-04077, Derecha
- 789-04078) con dos tornillos de cabeza hexagonal de 3/8” (710-3085) y
dos nus (712-04065) como se
muestra en la Figura 19.
3. Centre visualmente el conjunto
de la barra de pesas en el tractor
y, con dos tornillos prisioneros de
cabeza hexagonal de 7/16” (710-
3279) y dos tuercas (712-04065),
asegure el conjunto de contrapeso
al tractor como se muestra en la
Figura 20.
4. Como se muestra en la
Figura 21, coloque la placa
de apoyo (703-26752) en el
mango izquierdo y derecho
del soporte (703-24845)
para que los dos orificios
de cada lado se alineen.
Invierta el proceso que
utilizó para retirar la placa
de apoyo.

Uso de la embolsadora triple
NOTA: Cuando todas las bolsas para césped estén llenas, coloque el tractor sobre una superficie firme y
nivelada, desembrague la toma de fuerza (PTO), apague el motor del tractor y coloque el freno de mano.
1. Abra la cubierta empujando hacia adentro la lengüeta posterior derecha con la mano
derecha (1), y levantando la cubierta con la mano izquierda en la parte posterior
central de la cubierta de la embolsadora (2), como se indica en la Figura 29.
2. No extraiga del tractor el conjunto de tubo del canal.
3. Extraiga los tres conjuntos de bolsas de las ménsulas de soporte para bolsas, para lo
cual debe levantar el borde delantero primero y luego deslizar el borde trasero hacia
afuera y arriba hasta que se aleje del bastidor. Consulte la Figura 30.
4. Vacíe los recortes de césped en un predio de disposición adecuado, use la manija de
abajo de cada bolsa de césped. Para vaciar el contenido sostenga firmemente la bolsa.
5. Vuelva a colocar las bolsas para césped, cierre la tapa, vuelva a arrancar el tractor,
saque el freno de mano y reanude el corte de césped.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA
La garantía limitada que se extiende en el presente documento es otorgada por MTD
LLC en relación a los nuevos accesorios y/o complementos (en adelante “Accesorios”)
adquiridos y utilizados en los Estados Unidos y/o Canadá al Comprador Inicial (como se
define en este documento). Para las ventas en Canadá, la garantía es provista por MTD
Products Limited.
Alcance de la Garantía limitada
MTD LLC ofrece la siguiente garantía limitada al Comprador Inicial para uso residencial
u otro tipo de uso no comercial: excepto por las Exclusiones (que se definen en este
documento), durante el Período de Garantía (como se define en este documento),
este Accesorio estará libre de defectos de fabricación (que incluyen mano de obra y
materiales). El “Comprador Inicial” es la primera persona en adquirir este Accesorio
nuevo de un representante, distribuidor y/o minorista MTD autorizado de los
mencionados productos. La garantía limitada es intransferible. Excepto que se
disponga lo contrario en el presente documento, el período de la garantía limitada para
este nuevo Accesorio adquirido por el Comprador inicial es de un (1) año a partir de la
fecha de compra, como se indica en el comprobante de venta original correspondiente
al Accesorio (“Período de la Garantía”).
Defectos de mano de obra o de materiales
Excepto por las Exclusiones, se garantiza que este Accesorio estará libre de defectos
de fabricación en la mano de obra o los materiales durante el Período de la Garantía.
Durante el Período de Garantía, MTD LLC reparará o reemplazará, a su juicio, cualquier
pieza original cubierta por la presente garantía limitada y que se determine que presenta
algún defecto en la mano de obra o los materiales.
Para tener derecho a esta garantía limitada, este Accesorio:
1. Debe haber sido adquirido de un minorista autorizado.
2. Debe haber sido adquirido por el Comprador Inicial dentro de los Estados Unidos
o Canadá.
3. Debe haber sido usado únicamente para fines residenciales.
4. Debe haberse usado de una manera coherente con el uso normal y adecuado
para el que fue diseñado este Accesorio. El Accesorio no está diseñado para
arrendamiento ni para uso comercial.
¿Quién puede realizar reparaciones en virtud de la presente garantía?
A fin de reunir los requisitos para la garantía limitada según lo establecido en el presente
documento, las reparaciones realizadas conforme a esta garantía debe llevarlas a cabo
un proveedor de reparaciones y mantenimiento MTD autorizado.

DEBERÁ PRESENTAR COPIA DEL COMPROBANTE DE VENTA PARA OBTENER EL SERVICIO
DE LA GARANTÍA
Lo que no cubre la presente garantía limitada.
La presente garantía limitada no cubre lo siguiente (las “Exclusiones”):
1. Los productos adquiridos fuera del territorio de los Estados Unidos o Canadá.
2. Los daños producidos por la falta de mantenimiento y/o un mantenimiento
inadecuado, según se describe en el manual del operador.
3. El desgaste normal resultante del uso del producto.
4. Los artículos desechables, consumibles o de mantenimiento de rutina que
requieren reparaciones o servicio como parte del mantenimiento normal, salvo
que tales artículos presenten defectos que ocasionen fallas o desgaste prematuro
dentro de los primeros treinta (30) días de adquirido. Los artículos con desgaste
normal incluyen, pero no se limitan a, llantas, fusibles, cuchillas, baterías, correas,
mangueras, línea de orilladora, aceite de motor, aceite hidráulico, bolsas para
recortes y otros consumibles, en su caso, o ajustes, como ajuste del embrague,
freno o plataforma, o puestas a punto.
5. El uso del producto que no sea coherente con el uso para el que fue diseñado
según se describe en las instrucciones de funcionamiento, que incluye, a título de
ejemplo, el uso abusivo, inadecuado y/o negligente del Accesorio o cualquier uso
que no sea coherente con y/o no cumpla con las instrucciones que se incluyen en
el Manual del Operador.
6. Cualquier Accesorio que haya sido alterado o modificado de una manera que no
sea coherente con el diseño original del Accesorio o de una manera no aprobada
por MTD LLC.
7. Las reparaciones en concepto de pintura o los reemplazos por defectos en
la pintura (que incluyen los materiales y la aplicación) están cubiertos por un
período de tres (3) meses. : sin embargo, que esta garantía limitada por pintura
defectuosa no se aplica ni debe cubrir los daños a la aplicación de pintura
resultante de la exposición a las condiciones climáticas y / o resultantes del uso
normal del accesorio, incluyendo el uso indebido.
La presente garantía no cubre y MTD LLC rechaza todo tipo de
responsabilidad respecto de:
1. Pérdida de tiempo o pérdida de uso del Accesorio.
2. Costos de transporte y otros gastos incurridos en relación con el transporte del
Accesorio desde y hacia el proveedor de reparaciones y mantenimiento MTD
autorizado.
3. Cualquier pérdida o daño a otros equipos o elementos personales.
4. Daños ocasionados por mantenimiento inadecuado o el uso de combustible,
aceite o lubricantes que no fueran los especificados, según lo aprobado en el
manual del operador.
5. Daño resultante de la instalación o el uso de cualquier accesorio o pieza no
aprobados por MTD para utilizar con el Accesorio.
Limitaciones:
1. NO EXISTEN GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS, INCLUÍDAS, A TÍTULO DE EJEMPLO, LAS
GARANTÍAS IMPLÍCITAS DE COMERCIABILIDAD O ADECUACIÓN PARA UN
PROPÓSITO EN PARTICULAR. NO SERÁ DE APLICACIÓN NINGUNA GARANTÍA AL
CABO DEL PERÍODO DE GARANTÍA CORRESPONDIENTE SEGÚN LO ESTABLECIDO
PRECEDENTEMENTE RESPECTO DE LAS PIEZAS SEGÚN SU IDENTIFICACIÓN.
NINGUNA OTRA GARANTÍA EXPRESA, YA SEA ORAL O ESCRITA, EXCEPTO
LA MENCIONADA ANTERIORMENTE, OTORGADA POR PERSONAS FÍSICAS O
JURÍDICAS, INCLUIDOS LOS DISTRIBUIDORES O MINORISTAS RESPECTO DE
CUALQUIER PRODUCTO, VINCULARÁ A MTD LLC. DURANTE EL PERÍODO DE
GARANTÍA, EL ÚNICO RECURSO SERÁ LA REPARACIÓN O EL REEMPLAZO DE LA
PIEZA DEFECTUOSA, SEGÚN LO ESTABLECIDO PRECEDENTEMENTE. (ALGUNOS
ESTADOS NO PERMITEN LA LIMITACIÓN DE LA DURACIÓN DE LAS GARANTÍAS
IMPLÍCITAS, POR LO QUE LA LIMITACIÓN ANTES MENCIONADA PUEDE NO
APLICARSE EN SU CASO).
2. LAS DISPOSICIONES ESTABLECIDAS EN EL PRESENTE DOCUMENTO PREVÉN EL
ÚNICO Y EXCLUSIVO RECURSO QUE SURGE DE LA VENTA. MTD NO SE HARÁ
RESPONSABLE DE LAS PÉRDIDAS O LOS DAÑOS INDIRECTOS O EMERGENTES,
INCLUIDOS A TÍTULO DE EJEMPLO, GASTOS DE TRANSPORTE O RELACIONADOS,
O GASTOS DE ARRENDAMIENTO PARA REEMPLAZAR TRANSITORIAMENTE UN
PRODUCTO CUBIERTO POR LA GARANTÍA. (ALGUNOS ESTADOS NO PERMITEN
LA EXCLUSIÓN O LIMITACIÓN DE LOS DAÑOS Y PERJUICIOS INDIRECTOS
O EMERGENTES, POR LO QUE LAS EXCLUSIONES O LIMITACIONES ANTES
MENCIONADAS PUEDEN NO APLICARSE EN SU CASO).
3. En ningún caso se obtendrá una compensación mayor al monto del precio de
compra del producto vendido. La alteración de las características de seguridad
del producto anulará esta garantía limitada. Usted asume el riesgo y la
responsabilidad por las pérdidas, daños o lesiones que sufran Usted y sus bienes
y/u otras personas y sus bienes como consecuencia del uso, del uso incorrecto o
de la imposibilidad de uso de este producto.
Relación de la ley estadual con esta garantía:
Esta garantía limitada le otorga derechos legales específicos, pero usted podría gozar de
otros derechos que varían de acuerdo a su lugar de residencia.
