Safety Information Please Read Before Using This Equipment.
This Hetro dehumidifier must not be used under the following conditions:
a) Do not use unit without Air-condition (Cooling) running, Hetro Dehumidifier works
only with Air-condition (Cooling) to remove the excess moisture in the room or for
Heating the room.
b) Do not use unit in outdoors, never operate or store the unit in direct sunlight.
c) Do not use where accessible to children.
d) Do not use unit in condensing environment.
e) Do not use unit in high solvents, high dust ratio in the air.
Electrical equipment, only certified trained person installation required.
PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATING THE EQUIPMENT
WARNING - This Hero dehumidifier must be used only for drying the air or heating the
room. Any other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire,
electrical shocks or other injury to person or property.
Please follow the below safety guidelines:
1. Keep Children Away: Do not allow children to play with or around this unit, which could
result an injury. Be sure the unit is not accessible to children.
2. Hetro Dehumidifier radiates heat, surface temperature of the Dehumidifier is warm. This
is normal operation always maintain safe distance.
3. Ensure that do not place the unit too near to curtains or other objects. Do not place any
other objects or cloths on the unit.
4. Keep Unit Grounded: Always operate the unit with a grounding plug and a grounded
electrical outlet. A grounding plug is an essential safety feature that helps reduce the
risk of shock.
5. Protect Power Cord from Damage: Never operate a unit with a damaged power cord,
as this may lead to electrical or fire hazards. If the power supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by a cord of the same type and amperage rating.
6. To protect against electrical shocks, do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water, or spray
with liquids. Do not run power cord under carpeting, or cover with rugs.

7. Electrical Extension box must not be used. As they may overheat and cause a risk of
fire.
8. Handle with Care: Do not drop or throw dehumidifier. Rough handling can damage the
components and wiring and create a hazardous condition.
9. Make sure wall is strong enough to hold the weight of the dehumidifier otherwise go for
floor stand instead of wall mounting. Take certified electrician services for installing the
equipment.
10. Keep Out of Water: Never operate the unit in pooled or standing water, as this may
create a risk of injury from electrical shock. If electrical wiring or components become
wet, thoroughly dry them before using the unit.
11. Keep this user manual always available to user, operating of using without
understanding this user manual is not acceptable.
12. Hetro Dehumidifiers are not life saving equipment, if you are using this unit in any
critical areas like OTs or in Hospitals, we recommend keep spare unit as a
standby for any sudden failures.
After Receiving the Dehumidifier
After receiving the unit unpack and check your dehumidifier for any transport damage.
In case of damage please contact us.
Identify safe place for installation, away from children or go for wall mountable.
Sealing the room: Do not seal the room completely this may cause reduction of oxygen
and increase of carbon dioxide the room, make sure allow sufficient fresh air.
How Hetro Dehumidifier works
Hetro Dehumidifier works only if your room Air-conditioner is running. For heating
applications you can use without AC.
This dehumidifier is designed to reduce humidity from the air in a closed room when Air-
condition is running, it will also increase the room temperature if required. The purpose
is to prevent condensation, mold, and other issues associated with high humidity in the
room.
The Hetro Dehumidifier enables your Air-conditioner by increasing the room
temperature to reduce the excess humidity in the room. It works on heating and cooling
technique until room humidity reduced to the set value.

Control Panel Keys
The Hetro Dehumidifier enables your Air-conditioner by increasing the room temperature!
!
Power Switch: Used to turn ON-OFF unit. When unit is turned OFF display shows — —
UP Switch: Used to set the desired target humidity or temperature in the room, also used
to increase the set value.
Down Switch: Used to decrease the set value.
Back Switch: Used to go back from settings.
Enter Switch: Used to save the new value.
Operating the AHU Hetro Dehumidifier

1) Turn ON unit by using “POWER” switch. Unit will display room humidity.
2) Set the desired humidity by pressing “UP” switch. Unit will display set humidity
(flashes), increase or decrease the set value by using “UP” or “DOWN” switches.
Use “ENTER” switch to save the new set value.
3) After entering humidity set value unit will ask for set temperature, enter the room
temperature which is maintained by your Air-conditioner. Use “ENTER” switch to
save the new set value.

Warranty And Customer Support
One-year warranty is on your dehumidifier from the date of purchase. All material or
manufacturing defects will be repaired/replaced free of charge. In case of your dehumidifier
failure we will collect it from your place for repair/replacement.
The following terms applies on warranty:
1. Warranty is not valid if dehumidifier is installed in high dust ratio or high concentration
of solvents in the air or outdoors.
2. Warranty will expire if any alterations have been made, or a third party has repaired
the dehumidifier.
3. Components subject to normal wear and tear, such as power cord, are not covered
by the warranty.
4. The warranty is only valid on presentation of the original, unaltered, and date-
stamped purchase receipt.
5. The warranty does not cover damage caused by actions that deviate from points
described in this manual.
6. The warranty does not cover faults caused by high voltages, EFT and Surge and
thunder voltages.
7. The warranty does not cover accidental damage.
8. Claims for compensation will not be covered for consequential damages.
