WARNINGS ABOUT USE AND OPERATION
DO NOT MODIFY THIS APPLIANCE. KEEP SHIELDS, GUARDS, AND COVERS IN PLACE. These
safety devices are provided to protect everyone from inj ry.
It is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL that the dryer be gro nded to a known earth (zero) gro nd in accordance
with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the latest editions of the National Electric Code, ANSI//NFPA
70 or Standard CSA C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code Part 1. This is not only for personal safety, b t is necessary
for proper operation of the controller. Fail re to do so will void the warranty of the controller.
A DRYER SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO POWER FOR THREE (3) MINUTES before it is operated or
before a program change is made. Operation or program changes, which occ r d ring this "power p" period, are
s bject to loss in case of power interr ption. After the initial three min tes, all programmed data is protected
from power interr ptions of any length and the c stomer's individ al cycle is protected p to 3 seconds. This is
done witho t batteries.
LEAVE THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE DRYER ON AT ALL TIMES except when necessary for service
or other similar activities. The ho r meter f nction adds only f ll ho rs to its reading. If the power is sh t off every night,
any fraction of an ho r of time that is on the machine at that time will be lost. T rning the power off every night
co ld also have some effect on the long-term life of the memory after a n mber of years. T rning power off
occasionally won’t affect the nit.
THIS DRYER IS EQUIPPED WITH AN OVER-TEMPERATURE THERMOSTAT located on the end of
the b rner ho sing above the gas valve. Sho ld the dryer cease to operate, refer to yo r “Service Proced re and
Parts Data” book for instr ctions.
CHECK THIS THERMOSTAT WHEN INSTALLING DRYER to ass re it is not tripped. Impacts s ch as
ro gh handling in shipment, may trip the thermostat. It may be reset by inserting a wooden pencil or dowel
thro gh the b shing in the cover.
DO NOT SPRAY AEROSOLS IN THE VICINITY OF THIS APPLIANCE while in operation.
THIS APPLIANCE SHALL NOT BE USED TO DRY OFF SOLVENTS OR DRY-CLEANING FLUIDS.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This dr er ma have been supplied as part of a washer/dr er stacked appliance. If
so, refer to the washer instructions for uncrating and hard mounting the stacked
unit to a concrete floor and observe the dr er clearances listed below.
STACK WASHER /DRYER INSTALLATION (when necessary):
1. Place dryer on top of washer and align (4) mo nting holes. The front (2) mo nting holes are located inside
the lint compartment 5 ½” from the front of the machine. The back (2) mo nting holes are located on the
right/left side of the machine, at the base of the back panel. Removing the rear g ard is necessary to access
the back mo nting hole located opposite the d ct work.
2. Use (4) s pplied 5/16” x 1-1/4 dog tip bolts to sec re the dryer on top of the washer.
DRYER INSTALLATION
1. CODE CONFORMITY. All commercial dryer installations m st conform with local codes or, in the absence of
local codes, with the latest edition of the National F el Gas Code ANSI Z223.1A. Canadian installations m st
comply with c rrent Standard CAN/CGA-B149 (.1 or .2) Installation Code for Gas B rning Appliances or Eq ipment,
and local codes if applicable. A stralian installations m st meet installation req irements and pipe sizing
req irements of AS/NZA 5601. The appliance, when installed, m st be electrically gro nded in accordance with
the latest edition of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA70, or, when installed in Canada, with Standard CSA
C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code Part 1.
2. INSTALLATION CLEARANCES. This nit may be installed at the following alcove clearance. (millimeters)
I. Left Side 0”
II. Right Side 0” *
III. Back 18” (457) (Certified for 1” (25) clearance; however, 18” (457) clearance is necessary behind
the belt g ard to allow servicing and maintenance.)
IV. Front 48” (1220) (to allow use of dryer)
V. Top Refer to fig re on the next page labeled “Vertical Clearance Dimensions”.
Certification allows 0” clearance at the top 1” (25) back from the front. However, a 1/4” (6)
clearance is req ired to allow opening the pper service door.
A 10” (254) clearance is required fro the top at all other points.
VI. Floor This nit may be installed pon a comb stible floor.
Do not obstr ct the flow of comb stion and ventilation air.
Maintain minim m of 1” (25mm) clearance between d ct and comb stible material.
Refer to installation label attached to the rear g ard of the dryer for other installation information.

3. MAKE-UP AIR. Adeq ate make- p air m st be s pplied to replace air exha sted by dryers on all types of
installations. Refer to specifications for the minim m amo nt of make- p air opening to o tside for each dryer. This is a
net req irement of effective area. Screens, grills or lo vers, which will restrict the flow of air, m st be considered.
Cons lt the s pplier to determine the free area eq ivalent for the grill being sed. The so rce of make- p air sho ld be
located s fficiently away from the dryers to allow an even airflow to the air intakes of all dryers. M ltiple openings
sho ld be provided.
The so rces of all make- p air and room ventilation air movement to all dryers m st be located away from any
dry cleaners. This is necessary so that solvent vapors will not be drawn into the dryer inlet d cts. Dry cleaner
solvent vapors will decompose in contact with open flame s ch as the gas flame present in clothes dryers. The
decomposition prod cts are highly corrosive and will ca se damage to the dryer(s) d cts and clothes loads.
4. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS. The electrical power req irements necessary to operate the nit satisfactorily are
listed on the serial plate located on the back panel of each dryer and in the specifications section of this man al.
The electrical connection sho ld be made to the terminal board, on the rear of the nit. It is absol tely necessary
that the dryer be gro nded to a known gro nd. Individ al circ it breakers for each dryer are req ired.
Individ al circ it breakers for each nit are recommended. Do not se gro nd-fa lt circ it breakers or gro nd-
fa lt circ it interr pter o tlets. The wiring diagram is located on the belt g ard on the back of the machine.
IMPORTANT: TRANSIENT VOLTAGE SURGE SUPPRESSORS
Like most electrical eq ipment, yo r new machine can be damaged or have its life shortened by voltage s rges
d e to lightening strikes which are not covered by factory warranty. Local power distrib tion problems also can
be detrimental to the life of electrical components. We recommend the installation of transient voltage s rge
s ppressors for yo r new eq ipment. These devices may be placed at the power s pply panel for the complete
installation and don’t req ire an individ al device for each machine.
These s rge protectors help to protect eq ipment from large spikes and also from small ongoing spikes in the
power that occ r on a day to day basis. These smaller s rges can shorten overall life of electrical components of
all types and ca se their fail re at a later date. Altho gh they can’t protect against all events, these protective
devices have a good rep tation for significantly lengthening the sef l life of electronic components. Electronic

components are helped to have a longer sef l life when they are s pplied with the clean stable electrical power
they like.

5. GAS REQUIREMENTS. The complete gas req irements necessary to operate the dryer satisfactorily are listed
on the serial plate located on the back panel of the dryer.
The inlet gas connection to the nit is 1/2 inch pipe thread.
An individ al gas sh toff valve is recommended for each dryer and may be req ired by local code (not
s pplied).
A joint compo nd resistant to the action of liq efied petrole m gases sho ld be employed in making pipe
connections.
A 1/8 inch NPT pl gged tapping, accessible for test gage connection, m st be installed immediately pstream
of the gas s pply connection to the dryer.
A drip tee sho ld be provided in the gas piping entering the nit to catch dirt and other foreign articles.
All pipe connections sho ld be checked for leakage with soap sol tion. Never check with an open flame.
For altit des above 2,000 feet (610m) it is necessary to de-rate the BTU inp t. Contact yo r local distrib tor
for instr ctions.
L.P. gas conversion kits are available for this dryer. Contact yo r local distrib tor.
CAUTION: The dryer m st be disconnected from the gas s pply piping system d ring any press re testing of
that system. Do not expose the dryer’s gas control valve to testing press re.
6. EXHAUST INSTALLATION. Exha sting of the dryer(s) sho ld be planned and constr cted so that no air
restrictions occ r. Any restriction d e to pipe size or type of installation can ca se slow drying time, excessive
heat, and lint in the room.
From an operational standpoint, incorrect or inadeq ate exha sting can ca se a cycling of the high limit thermostat
which sh ts off the main b rners and res lts in inefficient drying.
Individ al exha sting of the dryers is recommended. All heat, moist re, and lint sho ld be exha sted o tside
by attaching a pipe of the proper diameter to the dryer adapter collar and extending it o t thro gh an o tside wall.
This pipe m st be very smooth on the inside, as ro gh s rfaces tend to collect lint which will event ally clog the
d ct and prevent the dryer from exha sting properly. All elbows m st be smooth on the inside. All joints m st be
made so the exha st end of one pipe is inside the next one downstream. The addition of an exha st pipe
tends to red ce the amo nt of air the blower can exha st. This does not affect the dryer operation if held within
practical limits. For the most efficient operation, it is recommended that no more than 20' (6m) of straight 8”
(204mm) diameter pipe be sed with two right angle elbows. When more than two elbows are sed, 2' (600mm)
of straight pipe sho ld be removed for each additional elbow. No more than fo r right angle elbows sho ld be
sed to exha st a dryer.
Maintain minim m 1” (25) clearance between d ct and comb stible material.
If the exha st pipe passes thro gh a wall, a metal sleeve of slightly larger diameter sho ld be set in the wall and
the exha st pipe passed thro gh this sleeve. This practice is req ired by some local codes and is recommended in

all cases to protect the wall. This type of installation sho ld have a means provided to prevent rain and high winds
from entering the exha st when the dryer is not in se. A hood with a hinged damper can be sed for this p rpose.
Another method wo ld be to point the o tlet end of the pipe downward to prevent entrance of wind and rain. In
either case, the o tlet sho ld be kept clear, by at least 24” (610), of any objects which wo ld ca se an air
restriction.
Never install a protective screen over the exha st o tlet.
When exha sting a dryer straight p thro gh a roof, the overall length of the d ct has the same limits as exha sting
thro gh a wall. A rain cap m st be placed on top of the exha st and m st be of s ch a type as to be free from
clogging. The type sing a cone shaped “roof” over the pipe is s itable for this application.
Exha sting the dryer into a chimney or nder a b ilding is not permitted. In either case there is a danger of
lint b ild- p which can be highly comb stible.
Installation of several dryers, where a main discharge d ct is necessary, will need the following considerations for
installation. Individ al d cts from the dryers into the main discharge d ct sho ld be at a 45 degree angle in the
direction of discharge air flow.
NOTE: Never install the individ al d cts at a right angle into the main discharge d ct. The individ al
d cts from the dryers can enter at the sides or bottom of the main discharge d ct. The main d ct can be
rectang lar or ro nd, provided adeq ate air flow is maintained. For each individ al dryer, the total exha sting
(main discharge d ct pl s d ct o tlet from the dryer) sho ld not exceed the eq ivalent of 14 feet (6m) and
two elbows. The diameter of the main discharge d ct at the last dryer m st be maintained to exha st end.
NOTE: A small diameter d ct will restrict air flow; a large diameter d ct will red ce air velocity – both
contrib ting to lint b ild p. An inspection door sho ld be provided for periodic clean-o t of the main
d ct.
NOTE: STATIC BACK PRESSURE sho ld be a maxim m of 0.3 at the rear exha st o tlet of the dryer. If
m ltiple dryers are connected to the common d ct, ens re the back draft damper is installed properly.

7. DRYER IGNITION (SOLID STATE IGNITION). The solid state ignition system lights the main b rner gas
by spark. The gas is ignited and b rns only when the gas-valve relay (in the electronic controller) calls for heat.
The proced re for first-time starting of a dryer is as follows:
A. First, review and comply with the “WARNINGS ABOUT USE AND OPERATION” fo nd on the inside front
cover of this man al. Be s re the electrical power s pply is connected correctly. The white (ne tral) wire is to
be connected to the N terminal while the black (line) wire to the L1 terminal of the terminal block in the rear
control box. The dryer MUST be properly gro nded.
B. Make s re all gas s pply lines are p rged of air. Close the main gas sh t-off valve and wait for five min tes
before t rning the valve back on.
C. T rn on main electrical power switch. The dryer may be started by following the “OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS” fo nd later in this man al.
D. Nat ral gas and liq efied petrole m gas fired dryers both operate in the same manner. When gas-valve
relay contacts are closed (indicating a demand for heat), the solid state ignition control will a tomatically s pply
energy to the red ndant gas valve. Spark will contin e ntil a flame is detected by the sensing probe, b t not
longer than 10 seconds. If the gas fails to ignite within 10 seconds, the gas will sh t off for 15 seconds. The control
will attempt to ignite two more times in a similar manner. If the gas fails to ignite after three tries, the gas valve
closes and the system will "lock o t". No f rther attempts at ignition will be performed a tomatically. It is then
necessary to interr pt electrical power to the ignition system before making another attempt to light the b rners.
This can be done by opening the dryer door, allowing the dryer to come to a stop for 15 seconds, closing the door,
and p shing the "Start" b tton. The dryer will then repeat the ignition trial cycle.
DRYER SHUTDOWN
To render the dryer inoperative, t rn off the main gas sh t-off valve and disconnect electrical power to the dryer.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE INSTALLER TEST THE DRYER FOR OPERATION AND INSTRUCT THE
USER BEFORE LEAVING THE INSTALLATION.

DESCRIPTION OF DRYER CONTROL
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
STARTING THE DRYER
1. The display on the dryer control will show the req ired vend amo nt when in idle mode. Once the door is
opened it will prompt the ser to add money. Load clothes into the dryer. Close the door completely.
2. Deposit coins eq al to or greater than the displayed vend price. The display on the control will prompt the ser to
choose a drying temperat re.
3. Select the drying temperat re by pressing the appropriate b tton for “high”, “med” (medi m) or “low”. This will
t rn on the red indicator light showing the selected temperat re.
4. Press the “start” b tton to start dryer. This will t rn on the green indicator light. The drying time p rchased is
now displayed. The colon begins flashing to indicate that the timer is co nting down.
RUNNING THE DRYER
-Opening the door will stop the dryer, b t the timer will contin e to co nt down. The dryer will restart, if time
has not expired, pon closing the door and pressing the “start” b tton.
-Selected temperat re may be changed at any time ( nless Temperat re Pricing feat re is activated).
-R nning time may be extended by depositing coins and pressing the “start” b tton. Unless time has expired,
the controller will accept coins whether or not the original vend price is eq aled.
-If time has r n o t, the dryer m st be restarted as if it was at the beginning of drying the load, which req ires
meeting or exceeding the vend price.
-Clothes sho ld be removed promptly after the cycle is completed to prevent excessive wrinkling.
-Cool-down time (owner programmable) is always part of the cycle time p rchased by the c stomer. For example,
if the cool-down time is 2 min tes, then the last 2 min tes of the cycle will have no heat.

PROGRAMMING THE DRYER CONTROL
The dryer control can be programmed to prompt the ser for alternate vend prices, change dryer cycle times,
temperat res and many other options. This can be accomplished in two ways:
1. Man al programming tilizing the “Start”, “High”, “Medi m” and “Low” b ttons for the bottom dryer.
2. USB download of a c stomizable User File. For instr ctions on sing the USB download feat re, please
contact yo r local Dexter distrib tor or visit DexterLive.com.
MANUAL PROGRAMMING:
The dryer m st be in idle mode for the man al programming men s to be accessed. Idle mode is when the dryer
is not actively r nning a drying cycle and the vend price is displayed on the screen (for both pper and lower
dryers).
To enter the man al programming mode, the control tray on the dryer m st be nlocked and p lled o t to reveal
the programming b tton. The programming b tton is then pressed for 1 second. The control sho ld display
“DRYER PROGRAMMING”.
See the fig re below for the location of the programming b tton on the control tray.

When man al programming mode is entered, the “Start”, “High”, “Medi m” and “Low” b ttons perform alternate
f nctions.

These alternate f nctions allow the ser to move thro gh a men of options to choose vario s programmable
settings. The fig re below shows the top level men . Choosing an option from the top level men will then
display the next level of options (the s b men ).

Quick Test Option:
When the Q ick Test Option is chosen, the dryer will begin a shortened dry cycle witho t the displayed vend
price being met. The p rpose of this shortened cycle is to test all major components for proper operation.
Error Codes sho ld all f nction normally d ring this test. The display will show c stomer prompts in a similar way
to a normal dry cycle.
Continuous Test Option:
Similar to the Q ick Test, when the Contin o s Test Option is chosen, the dryer will begin a dry cycle witho t the
displayed vend price being met. However, in this case, it will be a contin o sly-r nning cycle. It will not time o t
after any designated amo nt of time.
CAUTION: This option is meant for factory se only. Do not operate the dryer with this cycle active witho t
factory a thorization.
Error Code Historical Log:
The last five occ rring error codes will be stored in the control with a time and date stamp. The p rpose of this
option is only to observe the history of these code occ rrences (no changes can be made).
The time is based off the Real Time Clock, b t potentially shifted by the ser’s man al programming changes

Prices Option:
This option allows the ser to set val es for coin acceptor inp ts, vend price & time and extend dry price & time.
It also allows the ser to ret rn the val es to factory defa lts. After changing prices sing the “Up” or “Down”
b ttons, the “Enter” b tton m st be pressed again for the control to store the changes that have been made.
Note that, in general, time val es are set in 1 min te increments. This can be changed to 30 second increments,
by changing the “Display Time” to “MIN+SEC” (refer to the “Settings” section”).
1. “RIGHT COIN” and “LEFT COIN” are the two possible inp ts from coin acceptors.
2. “PRICE SET VEND” is the act al Base Vend Price (or Vend Price A) that is shown on the control display.
The val e can be increased or red ced even down to “0”. In this case, the displays will prompt “FREE”
and the cycle will start as soon is the “Start’ b tton is pressed (witho t any vend price being met).
3. “TIME SET VEND” is the cycle time that the c stomer has available once they’ve met the Base Vend
Price.
4. “FREE SET TIME” is the cycle time that the c stomer has available if the Base Vend Price is set to “FREE”.
5. “EXTEND DRY” sets the price and time for additional drying time that becomes available after the
c stomer has already met the Base Vend Price.
To reset either the coin acceptor inp ts or the vend price to factory defa lt, press “Enter” when the “DEFAULT”
prompt is shown. Press “Enter” again when the “RESET” prompt is shown to confirm the action.
Example- A store owner has programmed the control for the following val es:
Base Vend Price $1.00
Base Vend Time 30 min tes
Extend Dry Price $.25
Extend Dry Time 8 min tes
In this case, the c stomer adds 4 q arters to satisfy the $1.00 Vend Price. The display shows 30 min tes
of drying time. At this point, if an additional q arter is added, the c stomer display shows an additional 8
min tes of drying time (38 min tes total) as per the Extend Dry Price & Time.
The c stomer starts the drying cycle and at 25 min tes into the cycle (13 min tes displayed), they add
an additional q arter. The controller adds 8 min tes to the displayed time again (21 min tes total) as per
the Extend Dry Price & Time.
“AFTER CYCLE” allows the ser to choose whether a c stomer is allowed to add “EXTEND DRY” time for p to 30
seconds after the dryer door is opened after a completed cycle.

C cles Option:
This option allows the ser to set temperat re and cooldown information for the drying cycle. It also allows the
ser to ret rn the val es to factory defa lts.
1. “TEMP SETTINGS” allows the ser to make adj stments, within a designated range, to the cycling
temperat re for each of the “Low”, “Medi m” and “High” c stomer choices.
2. In addition, on the “Low” setting, the ser can red ce the cycling temperat re below 110 degrees F. In
this case, when the c stomer chooses the “Low” setting, the dryer will not t rn on the gas valve. When
checked, the displayed temperat re will read “NO HEAT”. Press and hold the “start” b tton and the
active temperat re b tton while the dryer is r nning to display the c rrent dryer temperat re.
3. “COOLDOWN” allows the ser to change the designated time at the end of a cycle where the gas valve
relay is t rned off. On “High” and “Medi m” temperat re settings, the designated time cannot be red ced
to less than 2 min tes.
4. “DEFAULT TEMP” allows the ser to choose which general temperat re setting, “High”, “Medi m” or
“Low”, the control will defa lt to at the beginning of each cycle if the c stomer does not make a choice.
5. “ANTI WRINKLE” is a feat re that periodically rotates the dryers after a cycle is complete. If the door was
closed at the end of the cycle, and is left closed for 5 min tes, the en nciator will so nd and the display
begins scrolling “ANTI WRINKLE”. 5 seconds later, the dryer motor will t rn on for 60 seconds and then
t rn off. The gas valves will not be t rned on. The “ANTI WRINKLE” message will contin e thro gho t
the time that the motor is t rned on. The ser can choose to enable or disable this feat re.
To reset all val es in the Cycles option to factory defa lt, press “Enter” when the “DEFAULT” prompt is shown.
Press “Enter” again when the “RESET” prompt is shown to confirm the action.

Temperature Pricing Option:
This option allows the ser to req ire additional vend amo nts be added based on the drying
temperat re chosen by the c stomer. This pricing adder is effective only for the Base Vend Price (it does not
affect the Extend Dry Price). It allows a pricing adder separate for “Medi m” and “Hot” temperat re settings.
Example- A store owner has programmed the control for the following:
Vend Price $1.00
Vend Time 30 min tes
Extend Dry Price $.25
Extend Dry Time 8 min tes
Medi m Adder $.25
Hot Adder $.50
In this case, the Vend Price is displayed as:
$1.00 if Low Temperat re is chosen
$1.25 if Medi m Temperat re is chosen
$1.50 if Hot Temperat re is chosen
When Temperat re Pricing Adders are in place ( ser has chosen a higher val e then $0.00), if the c stomer
attempts to change their temperat re selection from a lower temperat re to a higher one d ring a drying cycle,
there will be no change in the temperat re selection. The higher temperat re b ttons are disabled ntil the
drying cycle is complete and a new Vend Price is req ired.

Settings Options:
The Settings options allow for the ser to make vario s programming changes to change how the control
operation affects the c stomer. See below for detailed information on each next level option.
1. “Decimal Point”: If the ser programs the Decimal Point to “OFF”, control display will not show a decimal
point on any vend price val es. The factory defa lt is “ON”.
2. “Display Time”: If the ser programs this val e to “MIN”, then min tes only will be shown for the cycle
time. If it is programmed to “MIN+SEC”, then min tes and seconds will be shown. This also allows other
programming changes, involving time, to be made in either min te increments or min tes & seconds
increments, as desired.
3. “Temp Scale”: If the ser programs this val e to “F”, then the temperat res will be displayed in
Fahrenheit nits. If it is programmed to “C”, then the temperat re will be in Celsi s nits.
4. “So nds”: If the ser programs the So nds to “OFF”, the control will not so nd the en nciator at the end
of a dry cycle. The factory defa lt is “ON”.
5. “Password”: If the ser programs the password to any val e other then 0000, the control will prompt the
ser to enter a password (the programmed val e) before man al programming can be accessed. The
factory defa lt is “0000” (no password).
a. Note that if the ser forgets the Password, it can be reset to factory defa lt (no password), by
performing a hard reset on the control. Please refer to the appropriate section of this man al to
nderstand how to perform a hard reset.
b. The individ al digits of the Password can be set by sing the “Up” or “Down” b ttons to change
the n mber that is flashing. Once the desired n mber is chosen for a single digit, press the
“Enter” b tton to move to the next one. Once all fo r desired digits are chosen, the “Enter”
b tton m st be held down for 3 seconds to confirm that the complete password sho ld be set.
6. “Lang age”: The control ses English for the defa lt lang age of the c stomer prompts. Alternatively, the
ser can choose Spanish, French, Malay, or Italian for the c stomer display prompts. However, all other
prompts, s ch as Man al Programming, USB Programming and any Error Codes will still display in
English.
7. “Shift Ho rs”: This feat re allows the ser to shift the time sed by the control from the time kept
internally by the control. The control ses a Real Time Clock (RTC) to internally track the time and date.
The RTC contin es operation even if the control loses external power. The RTC is set for Central
Standard Time and no daylight savings. Beca se the machine may be located in another time zone, the
ser can choose to create an alternate time & date that tracks in parallel to the RTC. When this alternate
time is chosen, or shifted from the RTC, the alternate time will be sed to, for example, track error code
occ rrences and set time-of-day pricing changes.
a. The ho rs in “SHIFT HOURS” can be set by sing the “Up” or “Down” b ttons to change the
n mber that is flashing. Once the desired ho r shift is chosen, press the “Enter” b tton to move
to the min tes. Once the ho rs and min te shift are both chosen, the “Enter” b tton m st be
held down for 3 seconds to confirm that the complete shifted time is set.
8. “Time”: The control ses a Real Time Clock (RTC) to internally track the time and date. The RTC
contin es operation even if the control loses external power. The RTC is set for Central Standard Time
and no daylight savings. However, if a problem occ rs and the RTC time is not acc rate, it can be reset
to the c rrent time sing this option.

9. “Date”: Similar to “Time”, if a problem occ rs and the RTC date is not acc rate, it can be reset to the
c rrent date sing this option.
a. The day of the month in “DATE” can be set by sing the “Up” or “Down” b ttons to change the
n mber that is flashing. Once the desired day of the month is chosen, press the “Enter” b tton to
move to the month of the year. Once the desired month of the year is chosen, press the “Enter”
b tton to move to the year. Once the day, month and year are all chosen, the “Enter” b tton
m st be held down for 3 seconds to confirm that RTC is meant to be reset to the complete entry.
10. “O t of Service” – The control can be p t into an O t-of-Service mode via man al programming. When
the mode is “ON”, the control will scroll “OUT OF SERVICE” on the display. The machine will not react to
any vend inp t and will not operate when in this mode. The factory defa lt is “OFF”.
