High Wattage Model:
- Minimum load: - 5.0A (1200W at 240V)
- Maximum load - 16.7A (4000W at 240V)
Rating includes a maximum 1/10 HP Inductive load.

WARNING: The installation of the thermostat must
complywiththeapplicablelocaland/orNationalElectrical
Codesandutilityrequirements.Thisinstallationshouldbe
entrustedtodulyqualiedpersonnelwhererequiredby
law.
Ensure that all wiring connections to the thermostat are
correct and tight to prevent electrical shorts. Use the
appropriate wire to meet local and national electrical codes
for rated power consumption.
Disconnect power supply to prevent electrical shock or1.

Run line wiring from supply and heater to the thermostat2.

Remove the front cover to access the mounting screws3.

Toturnthethermostatcontrolonpulltheknobout,andpush
in to turn off. To adjust the temperature to your individual
requirements, turn the thermostat control clockwise to
increase and counter-clockwise to decrease the temperature
setting.
Turningtheknobfullycounterclockwise
inthe“ON”positionwillsetthe
temperature rating to 5°C (41°F)
triggeringtheFrostGuard.

Secure the ground wire to the ground screw provided in14.

CHANGING THE CONTROL DIAL SCALE
Removethecontroldialknob.
Ensurethedialispulledouttothe“ON”position.1.
Byinsertingasmallatheadscrewdriver,gentlylift2.
the control dial to remove the center cover and scale
ring.
Select the scale ring you wish to use. Your thermostat3.
comeswithboththeCelsiusandFahrenheit
temperature scale rings.
Takethescalering,andalignthethreelockingtabs4.
with the three cutouts on the center cover.
Line up the key slot on the center cover to the key on5.
thedialbaseandensuringthethreetabsonthescale
ring are correctly positioned, click the components
into place.

defectsinworkmanshipandmaterialsforveyearsfromdateofsale.This
warranty does not apply to damage from accident, misuse, or alteration, nor
wheretheconnectedvoltageismorethat5%abovethenameplatevoltage,
nor to equipment improperly installed or wired or maintained in violation
of the instruction sheet. This limited warranty applies only to purchases
madeinanyprovinceofCanadaexceptforYukonTerritory,Nunavut,or
NorthwestTerritoriesorinanyofthe50StatesoftheUSA(andtheDistrict
ofColumbia)exceptforHawaiiandAlaska.Thislimitedwarrantyappliesto
theoriginalpurchaseroftheproductonlyandisnottransferable.Noother
writtenororalwarrantyapplies.Noemployee,agent,dealerorotherperson
isauthorizedtogiveanywarrantiesonbehalfofDimplex.Thecustomer
shallberesponsibleforallcostsincurredintheremovalorreinstallationand
shipping of the product for repairs. Within the limitations of this warranty,
inoperativeunitsshallbereturnedtothenearestDimplexauthorizedservice
center, and we shall repair or replace, at our option, at no charge to you with
returnfreightpaidbeDimplex.Itisagreedthatsuchrepairorreplacement
istheexclusiveremedyavailablefromDimplexandthatDIMPLEXISNOT
RESPONSIBLEFORDAMAGESOFANYKIND,INCLUDINGINCIDENTAL
ANDCONSEQUENTIALDAMAGE.SomeStatesdonotallowtheexclusion
orlimitationofconsequentialdamages,sotheaboveexclusionorlimitation
