4.0 Connecng Block—Connued
2. IR Receiver In— This is a three terminal 1/8” plug that is com-
mon to many of the free standing IR receivers. This unit will con-
nect the power, ground, and signal. Signal is p, ground is the
ring, and power is the sleeve.
4. Emier Outputs— Connect the emiers to the emier jacks
1 & 2. Place the emier on the source equipment.
5.0 Emier Placement
1. Standard Installaon—Most Reliable
A. IR emier aached directly to IR sensor window.
2. Aach emier on inside shelf—Less Reliable
A. Aach emier on shelf above or below IR sensor.
3. Cabinet with door installaon—Less Reliable
A. Aach emier on door, round shape facing the IR
sensor.

4.0 Connecng Block
1. Power— Connect the 12VDC power supply to the power jack
of the IR Connecng Block. The red LED will be illuminated when
powered. This will power all of the IR components connected to
the system.
