Atención
Al instalar el equipo de aire acondicionado en el techo
se debe proteger la parte superior de la cabina con un
paño o manta protectora para evitar posibles arañazos.
Al instalar LITE en el techo hay que tener en cuenta
que, normalmente, las cabinas que vienen provistas de
escotilla, tienen una estructura suciente para soportar
el peso del equipo. Sin embargo, cuando no ocurra así y
sea necesario realizar corte en el techo ó incluso si en el
caso de llevar escotilla el material no es lo sucientemente
resistente (caso de techo de bra, plástico, etc...) es el
instalador el que debe decidir, bajo su responsabilidad,
sobre la necesidad de reforzar el techo para evitar
posibles deformaciones, roturas, entradas de agua, etc...
habilitando los medios para que esto no ocurra.

Atención
Si durante el montaje el equipo se inclina, se deberá
esperar un mínimo de 60 minutos desde que el equipo
quede en posición horizontal antes de ponerlo en
funcionamiento.

Recomendaciones
Para el montaje
• Antes de iniciar el montaje leer las instrucciones y
seguirlas durante el proceso de instalacion.
• Usar las herramientas adecuadas para cada operación.
Electricidad
• Desconectar la llave de contacto.
• Desconectar la batería antes de empezar el montaje.
• Asegurar el conexionado de los componentes
eléctricos, vericando su correcto encaje.

Atención: El cableado de alimentación no está
incluido en el kit de montaje estándar. Consultar
disponibilidad de cableado como accesorio.

Desmontar tapa escotilla, los elementos de jación
y entregar éstos al cliente.

Para vehículos TGX cabina XLX con spoiler
las modicaciones a realizar en el mismo
deben ser autorizadas por el cliente. Por lo
que dirna Bergstrom se exime de toda
la responsabilidad por la modicación del
spoiler. En el caso de estar autorizadas las
modicaciones que se deben realizar en el
spoiler, se debe desmontar éste antes de
comenzar la instalación.

Quitar los residuos sobrantes adheridas al techo
antes de pegar la junta EPDM.

COMO CORTAR LA JUNTA EPDM
PARA EVITAR FILTRACIÓN DE AGUA
EN LA CABINA
A- Pegar la junta, manteniendo 100 mm de
papel protector por cada lado.
B- Quitar los dos piezas de papel.
C- Pegue presionado ambos nales.

Pegue la junta EPDM 30x30 alrededor del resalte
del hueco de escotilla (mirar el detalle para cortar
los bordes nales de unión de la junta).

Posicionar equipo LITE en el hueco de la escotilla
en posición indicada.
Roscar en cada espárrago M8/125 L=100 mm una
tuerca M8 y colocar una arandela plana Ø 8 y una
arandela goma como se indica.
Roscar espárragos M8 en insertos de la base
dejándolos a 70 mm y apretar tuercas contra la
base.

Roscar una tuerca M8 en cada espárrago y
posicionar soportes sobre espárragos intercalando
una arandela plana Ø 8 ala ancha entre el
soporte y la tuerca del espárrago y sujetar con una
arandela plana Ø 8 ala ancha y una tuerca M8/125
autoblocante sin apretar.
Atención: Dejar cableados de luces por encima
de los soportes.
Presentar consola y centrar equipo de forma que
quede donde estaba ubicada la original y quitar
consola.
Atención: La parte ancha de la consola (*) en la
parte delantera de la cabina.
Atención: Es muy importante vericar por la
parte interior, que una vez centrado el equipo
no quedan por dentro de la junta las rejillas de
la entrada del aire del condensador para evitar
la entrada de agua en el interior de la cabina a
través de ellas.

52 mm desde la base a la parte inferior del soporte
y después apretar (*) tuerca contra el soporte.

base y apretar tuerca contra inserto.
Atención: Dejar separadores hexagonales a 60
mm desde la parte plana del frente.
Roscar (1) separador hexagonal y (2) tuercas
M6/100 en cada espárrago M6/100x55 dejando
a medidas indicadas. Apretar tuerca (*) contra
separador hexagonal.
Desmontar tornillos originales (*) y montar con
ellos tapas suministradas como se indica.

Atención: El cableado que se debe instalar debe ser de 6 mm de sección, el cable (+) debe ir protegido
con un fusible de 30A.
Importante: Debido al complejo sistema de regulación electrónica del equipo, la toma de corriente debe
realizarse directamente a la batería o a un punto autorizado, no a cualquier otro punto que de servicio a
otros accesorios del vehículo, teniendo la precaución de no invertir la polaridad al realizar la conexión.
Importante: Para la puesta en marcha consultar el manual de usuario.

Llevar cables de alimentación hasta la escotilla
y grapar en estos los terminales suministrados y
colocar caja de 2 vías suministrada.
Atención: Hacer coincidir cables según se indica
R= (+) y N= (-).
Introducir consola en frente, sacar cableados de
luces por los huecos de la consola y jar consola
con (4) tornillos 6/100x15 allen, roscando en
separadores hexagonales.
Atención: La parte más ancha de la consola en la
parte delantera de la cabina.
Conectar luces y encajarlas en la consola.

Warning
When installing air conditioning equipment on roof, the
upper cabin part must be protected with a cloth or a
protective blanket to avoid possible scratches. When
installing LITE on roof, take into account that, normally,
cabins equipped with a hatch have a strong enough
structure to hold equipment weight. However, if it is not
the case and it is necessary to carry out a cut in the roof
or, although it has a hatch, the material is not resistant
enough (if roof is made of bre, plastic, etc...), it is the
installer who will have to decide, under his responsibility,
if it is necessary to reinforce the roof to avoid possible
deformations, breaks, water entries, etc., habilitating the
means required to stop it from occurring.

Warning
If the unit slants during assembly, wait for at least
60 minutes with the unit in horizontal position before
starting it up.

The installing personnel must have a sufcient training
in vehicles air conditioning.

handling or installation of the equipment or from
modications and substitutions carried out without
our express and written authorisation.

Recommendations
• Before starting assembly, please read instructions and
follow them during installation process.
• Use the adequate tools for each operation.

• Disconnect ignition key.
• Disconnect battery before starting assembly.
• Make sure electric components are securely connected,
checking their correct tting.

Caution: The power cabling is not included in the
standard assembly kit. Check availability of cabling
as an accessory.

Take down the hatch cover and the fastening
elements, and hand them over to the customer.

In TGX vehicles cabin XLX with spoiler, the
changes to be made must be authorised by the
customer. In consequence, dirna Bergstrom
shall be released from any liability deriving
from modication of the spoiler. Whenever
changes to the spoiler have been authorised,
the spoiler must be taken down before starting
installation.

Remove any waste stuck to the roof before
attaching the EPDM seal.

HOW TO CUT EPDM GASKET TO AVOID
WATER FILTRATION INTO THE CABIN
A- Glue gasket, keeping 100 mm of protection
paper at each side.
B- Remove the two pieces of paper.
C- Glue by pressing both ends.

Attach the 30x30 EPDM seal around the hatch gap
ridge (see the details to cut the ends of the seal
joint).

Position the LITE unit in the hatch gap in the indi-
cated position.
Screw an M8 nut on each M8/125 L=100 mm stud
and position a Ø8 at washer and a rubber washer
as indicated.
Screw M8 studs in the inserts of the base, leaving
them at a distance of 70 mm, and tighten the nuts
against the base.

Screw an M8 nut on each stud and position
supports on the studs, inserting a Ø8 at wide-
rimmed washer between the support and the nut
of the stud, and secure with a Ø8 wide-rimmed
at washer and an M8/125 self-locking nut without
tightening.
Caution: Leave the lights cables above the
supports.
Position the console and align the unit where the
original was located and remove the console.
Caution: The wide part of the console (*) goes in
the front part of the cabin.
Caution: Once the unit is aligned, it is very
important to check on the inside that the air input
grilles of the condenser are not inside the seal,
in order to ensure water does not enter the cabin
through them.

Tighten the nuts of the supports until there is 52
mm from the base to the bottom of the support and
tighten the nut (*) against the support.

Screw 10 mm studs in the M6 inserts of the base
and tighten the nut against the insert.
Caution: Leave hexagonal spacers 60 mm from
the at part of the front.
Screw on (1) hexagonal spacer and (2) M6/100
nuts on each M6/100x55 stud and leave at the
indicated measurements. Tighten the nut (*)
against the hexagonal spacer.
Take down the original screws (*) and use them to
mount the supplied covers as indicated.

Caution: The cable to be installed must be 6 mm section; the (+) cable must be protected with a 30A
fuse.
Important: Due to the equipment’s complex electronic regulation system, the current connection must
be made directly to the battery point or authorised connection point, and not to any other point which
services other accessories of the vehicle, taking the precaution to not invert polarity when making the
connection.
Important: Check the user manual for starting up.

Run power cables to the hatch and secure the
supplied terminals on them, positioning the
supplied 2-way box.
Caution: Match the cables as indicated R= (+) and
N= (-).
Introduce the console in the front, remove the lights
cables through the console gaps and secure the
console with (4) 6/100x15 Allen screws, screwing
on hexagonal spacers.
Caution: The wide part of the console in the front
part of the cabin.
Connect the lights and t them in the console.
