Atención
Al instalar el equipo de aire acondicionado en el techo
se debe proteger la parte superior de la cabina con un
paño o manta protectora para evitar posibles arañazos.
Al instalar LITE en el techo hay que tener en cuenta
que, normalmente, las cabinas que vienen provistas de
escotilla, tienen una estructura suciente para soportar
el peso del equipo. Sin embargo, cuando no ocurra así y
sea necesario realizar corte en el techo ó incluso si en el
caso de llevar escotilla el material no es lo sucientemente
resistente (caso de techo de bra, plástico, etc...) es el
instalador el que debe decidir, bajo su responsabilidad,
sobre la necesidad de reforzar el techo para evitar
posibles deformaciones, roturas, entradas de agua, etc...
habilitando los medios para que esto no ocurra.
En las cabinas DAF XF 105 altas de techo de bra se
debe tener especial cuidado y únicamente apoyarse
en los nervios de la misma para evitar hundimientos
en la parte de bra.

Atención
Si durante el montaje el equipo se inclina o se abate
la cabina con el equipo montado, se deberá esperar
un mínimo de 60 minutos, desde que el quipo quede
horizontal, antes de ponerlo en marcha.

suciente en Aire Acondicionado de vehículos.

o por modicaciones y sustituciones efectuadas sin
nuestra expresa autorización por escrito.

Recomendaciones
Para el montaje
• Antes de iniciar el montaje leer las instrucciones y seguirlas
durante el proceso de instalación.
• Usar las herramientas adecuadas para cada operación.
Electricidad
• Desconectar la llave de contacto.
• Desconectar la batería antes de empezar el montaje.
• Asegurar el conexionado de los componentes eléctricos,
vericando su correcto encaje.

Desmontar escotilla y elementos de jación y
entregar al cliente.
Limpiar el resalte del contorno del hueco de
escotilla antes de pegar la junta de EPDM y
pegar junta EPDM 25x10.

COMO CORTAR LA JUNTA EPDM PARA
EVITAR FILTRACIÓN DE AGUA EN LA CABINA
A- Pegar la junta, manteniendo 100 mm de
papel protector por cada lado.
B- Quita los dos piezas de papel.
C- Pegue presionado ambos nales.

Introducir soportes de jación con la parte
plana hacia arriba en escotilla como se indica.
Introducir soportes de jación como se muestra.
Posicionar el equipo LITE en el hueco de la
escotilla encajando centradores en el mismo.
Atención: Los desagües quedan en la parte
delantera de la cabina.

5Fijar equipo con (4) arandelas planas Ø 8 ala
ancha, (4) arandelas grower y (4) tornillos
M8/125x50 apretando hasta hacer tope con
los hexágonos.

6/100x15 allen. Atención: Introducir 1º la parte
de las lumbreras (*) para poder encajar la
consola en el panel interior de distribución de
aire.
Colocar embellecedores para cubrir tornillos
de jación de la consola.

!
Warning
When installing air conditioning equipment on roof,
the upper cabin part must be protected with a cloth
or a protective blanket to avoid possible scratches.
When installing Compact Pro on roof, take into
account that, normally, cabins equipped with a hatch
have a strong enough structure to hold equipment
weight. However, if it is not the case and it is
necessary to carry out a cut in the roof or, although
it has a hatch, the material is not resistant enough
(if roof is made of bre, plastic, etc...), it is the installer
who will have to decide, under his responsibility, if it
is necessary to reinforce the roof to avoid possible
deformations, breaks, water entries, etc., habilitating
the means required to stop it from occurring.
With DAF XF 105 high, plastic roof cabins, take
special care and only rest on cabin nerves to avoid
bre part from sinking.

Warning
If the unit slants during assembly, wait for at least
60 minutes with the unit in horizontal position before
starting it up.

• Use the adequate tools for each operation.

• Disconnect battery before starting assembly.
• Make sure electric components are securely connected,
checking their correct tting.

Take down the hatch and the fastening
elements, and hand them over to the customer.
Clean the rim around the hatch gap before
attaching the EPDM seal, and attach the EPDM
25x10 seal.

A- Glue gasket, keeping 100 mm of protection
paper at each side.
B- Remove the two pieces of paper.
C- Glue by pressing both ends.

centring pins and insert them in the position

Introduce fastening mounts in the hatch with
the at part facing upwards, as indicated.
Insert fastening brackets as shown.
Position the LITE unit in the hatch gap and t
the aligners.
Caution: The run-offs are located in the front
of the cabin.

5Secure the unit with (4) Ø8 wide-rimmed
at washers, (4) grower washers and (4)
M8/125x50 screws, tightening until they come
up against the hexagons.

5a Insert (4) separators between the securing
bracket and the hexagonal head bolt and secure
the equipment with (4) screws 8 / 125x55 with
at washer Ø 8 and grower washer Ø 8 until
they reach the hex bolt.

interior panel and secure with (4) 6/100x15
Allen screws. Caution: First introduce the
louvre part (*) in order to t the console in the
air distribution interior panel.
