Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Ifappliance is not working as itshould, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors,

Do not pull or carry bycord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pullcord around sharp edges or corners. Do not
runappliance over cord. Keep cord awayfrom heated surfaces.
Do not unplug by pulling oncord. To unplug, graspthe plug, not the cord.
Do not handleplug or appliance with wet hands.
Do not putany object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that
may reduceair flow.
Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
Turn off all controls beforeunplugging.
Use extra carewhen cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
Look onyour vacuum cleanerand follow all labeland marking instructions.
Do not use an extension cord with this cleaner.
Keep your hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all body parts away from moving parts; especially the revolvingbrush.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner without Dirt Containerand filter in place.
Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaneraway after use to preventtripping accidents.
When assembling the handle make sure all sections are securely fastened (or snapped) together before use.

Your cleaner contains
a
Thermal Protector that turns off power to the motorto avoid overheating. If this happens, turn switch
off and unplug thecleaner. Inspectthe exhaust, inlet, hose, andfilters for any blockage. After approximately
30
minutes the motor
will have cooled and the vacuum will be ready to use.
NOTE: The cleanermust remain unplugged during the
30
minute coolingperiod.
