Chapter 1 Safety
1.Safety summary
As a manufacturer of laser equipment, we hope that users：
Read this manual carefully before using the laser cleaning machine, so
as to have a detailed understanding of the equipment safety and
operation methods；
Follow the operating procedures and safety specifications in this
manual during the operation of the equipment.
2.Safety signs and regulations
As shown in the pictures, the laser warning signs during laser operation are
as follows:

Take care
Our laser cleaning machine is classified into class IV laser products,
and the average power of the product is more than 3000 watts. The
mid-wavelength of the laser is 1080nm, which is beyond the visible light
range. However, these beams may cause irreversible damage to the eyes.
Therefore, qualified safety glasses must be worn when operating the
laser cleaning machine.
3.Laser protections
Class IV (high power): the most dangerous, including all lasers
above class 3B. Direct contact, scattered, or indirect contact can burn the
skin or cause devastating and permanent eye damage. It can ignite
inflammable substances and cause fire hazard.
Laser safety glasses (see Figure 1) shall be selected according to the
standard that can shield the laser within the whole wavelength range
emitted by the laser. When operating the equipment, the safety glasses
provided shall be always worn. Even if wearing laser protective glasses,
it is forbidden to look directly at the laser output head.

Through the EU 207:2009 / AC2011 and CE certification, the protection
band is 190 to 400nm and 800 to 1100nm.

4.Safety and protection measures
1 Personnel training
Only authorized, trained and instructed personnel are allowed to
operate, maintain and assert the laser cleaning machine. Any operation
other than those specified in this instruction is deemed to be not in
conformity with the regulations. The user shall bear the sole risk for the
loss of articles and personal injury.
The equipment operator shall ensure the professional training of
personnel, and the training contents shall at least include:
1)Show the operation process of the laser cleaning device to the operator.
2)Use and wear laser protective glasses correctly.
3)The necessary protection of personnel and accident handling methods.
4)Biological effects of laser radiation on eyes and skin.
2 Hazardous areas in use
The equipment's cleaning head lens ray direction coverage area is a
dangerous area. In the cleaning process, if you enter this area by mistake,
it will cause harm to your body.

3 Safety precautions
Make sure the power is off. The equipment should be checked to
ensure that it is in a power-off state, before cleaning and maintaining
the equipment.
Avoid dust and other pollution. The dust on the lens surface of the
handling head may cause the lens to be heated and damaged,
resulting in the attenuation of the output power of the device or the
failure to fire laser.
Do not bend the cable. The bending radius should be greater than
200mm. Excessive bending will cause the laser unable to fire laser.
Do not place inflammable and explosive materials near the cleaning
machine, such articles should avoid direct laser or reflection.
Wear a laser protective glasses. You should not look at the laser
directly during the light emitting process, and wear laser protective
glasses throughout the operation.
4 Instruction of emergency stop button
The emergency stop button is located on the right side of the
operation panel, which is in the shape of red mushroom head. When the
device is in an abnormal condition and needs to be stopped urgently,
please release the light control button , and press this emergence stop
button immediately. After the abnormal state is removed, it can be turned
clockwise to release the emergency stop state. If the device needs to be
re-enabled, follow the normal boot steps.

Chapter 2 Product overview
1.Products’ brief introduction
Laser cleaning is a new cleaning method in industrial cleaning. The
CW-H-3000W laser derusting machine of our company adopts the
high-power continuous fiber laser, high-speed scanning system,
high-precision control system and high-voltage power supply of
well-known enterprises in China.The whole machine is stable and
reliable with good performance, and has the characteristics of super
portability, high efficiency and high cost performance.
2.Basic theory and advantages
1 Basic theory
The cleaning principle of CW-H-3000W series laser cleaning
machine is to take advantage of the difference between pollutants and
substrates of laser absorptivity, or there is a certain difference between
the melting point and boiling point temperature of the two.After the
pollutants absorb the laser energy, the pollutants vaporize, vibrate and
expand instantly, and finally peel off the surface of the substrate, so as to
achieve the purpose of cleaning.
2 Advantages
Compared with traditional cleaning methods, laser cleaning has the
following advantages:

1)Safe, non-contact, no damage to substrate;
2)Environmental protection, no secondary pollution, and removed
substances recyclable；
3)Precision and controllable, optional area cleaning, and micron level
precision control in thickness direction；
4)Ultra high cost performance, laser cleaning machine in the use of no
consumables, only power consumption;
5)It has strong applicability and mobility, can be hand-held or integrated into
automation。
3 Utilization and characteristics
Utilization CW-H-3000W series laser cleaning machine can be used to
remove rust, paint and oil on metal and some non-metal surfaces, as
well as the cleaning of black ash, carbon deposition and oil stain on the
surface of parts after welding.
Characteristics CW-H-3000W series laser cleaning machine weighs
230kg and hand-held head weight is only 0.7kg, which is lightweight
and convenient. And it equipped with universal wheel to facilitate the
device to move. What’s more, a variety of scanning graphics are set to
ensure the cleaning effect under complex working conditions.
