Directions for use
BOMBEX®FARUMY®providesrapidknockdownandkillsinfewhoursandcanbeused
forcrawlingandflyinginsectcontrolwithanextendedresidualactivityupto90days.The
residualactivitydependsuponthesurfaceappliedandtheenvironmentalconditionsRepeat
applicationifnecessary.
Mixing Instructions:
Shaketheproductcontainerwellbeforeuse.Fillthecleantankofthesprayequipmenthalf
withtheneededwatercontent.AddthecorrectvolumeofBOMBEX®FARUMY®.Washthe
emptycontainerofBOMBEX®FARUMY®threetimeswithclearwaterandemptytothetank
ofthesprayequipment.Fillupthespraytankwiththemissingvolumeofclearwater.Closethe
spraytankandagitate.Ifadelayoccursbetweentreatments,re-agitatebeforere-use.Donot
storepreparedspraysolutionandusethereadymixedspraysolutionassoonaspossible.
Cleanthesprayequipmentwithclearwateraftertreatment.
DonotmixBOMBEX®FARUMY®withotherproducts(biocidesordisinfectants).

Apply through a suitable hand mechanical or electric sprayer producing a coarse spray.
Sprayevenlytoallsurfacesgivingspecialattentiontocracks,crevices,deadspacesand
placeswhereinsectsharbourages. Product may be applied to hard porous, soft porous
andnon-poroussurfaces.Theproductisnotforuseonclothingorbeddingorincotswhere
infantssleep.Wearsuitableglovesandimpermeablecoveralls.Weareyeprotectioninaddi-
tionwhendiluting.Duetoworkinghygienereasons,respiratoryprotectionisrecommended
duringspraying.
Domestic areas (flying and crawling insects):
Indomesticpremisesaswellincontinuouslyoccupiedareassuchashospitalwards,residen-
tial/nursinghomesandprisonsandareaswherehumansandpetscancomeincontactwith
thespray,applytheproductasband/spotorcrackandcrevicetreatmentonly.
Closealldoorsandwindowspriortouse.Donotenterthetreatedareaforatleast30min-
utesaftertreatmentandthespraymisthasdried.Wellventilatetreatedarea.
Barrier - Perimeter application:
Createacontinuousbandof20to30cmwithoutskipstoformaneffectiveperimeterbarrier.
Sprayarounddoorswindowsandopenings,takingparticularattentiontomigrationpaths
andareaswhereinsectsusuallyhideandharbourage.
Donotallowtheproductgetwashedtotheenvironmentordrains.Donotsprayuntilrunoff,
donotapplyinorarounddrains,donotcontaminatewaterbodiesorwatercourses.Donot
applytheproductatheavywindorrain.
Wasp and hornets nests:
Applyliberallyanddirectlytothenestortoentranceholesofconcealednestsuntilthenest
issaturated.Treatmentsshouldonlybecarriedoutatduskorothertimeswhenwaspor
hornetsactivityaroundthenestisminimal.
Applytheproductwithsuitablesprayequipmentwithalonglance.Wearsuitableprotective
equipmenttopreventforminjuries(full-faceprotectionself-ventilatedbreathingmask,protec-
tiveclothing,leatherglovesandboots).Removethenestaftertreatment.Keepawaypersons
andanimalsduringthetreatment.
Ants: (nest kills):
Antsaretakingupmanymicrocapsulesandcarryingthemtothenestwherethemicrocap-
sulesstarttoreleasetheactiveingredienttocontrolants,thepupae,thequeenandthenest.
Treatanareaof1m²aroundthenestentryandabandof10cmontheforagingpathsof
theantstothenest.
Agricultural premises, stables, sheds, pigs, cattle, horse, chickens and poultry farming, live-
stock’s, farm outbuildings and dairies:
Surfacespraycanbedonewithanimals/layerspresent.
Donotapplydirectlytoanimals.Accordingtogoodagriculturalpractiseitisrecommended

ticularattentiontositeswhereinsectsrestandbreedorharbourages.
Closewindowsanddoorspriortoapplicationandkeepclosedforatleast1hour.Switch
offallelectricityandair-conditions.Keepawayallanimalsandpersonsduringapplica-
tion.Adapttheapplicationtothetimewhenthetargetinsectisthemostactive.Afterthe
applicationventilatethetreatedareaforatleast4hoursoruseanairexhauster(1200
m³/hrate)toventilaterooms.Beforeenteringthetreatedareathesprayshouldbedried
completely.
Wearsuitableglove,coverallsandbootspluseyeprotectionwhendiluting.
Donotbreathegas/fumes/vapour/spray.Otherwisewearafull-faceprotectionwithself-
ventilatedbreathingmaskandeyeprotection.
Respiratoryprotectionisrecommendedatre-entryafterfogging.
