How to turn your DnaBand
on/off
Press and hold the button
until the LED flashes red to
turn off your DnaBand.
Press the button once to turn
on the DnaBand.
The LED will flash red-green-blue
to indicate activation.

To setup your DnaBand,
select “Connect a DnaBand”
in your App and follow the
on-screen instructions.
TIP:
To ensure successful connec-
tion, please place your
DnaBand as close as possible
to your phone during the setup
process.
This is a security feature to
ensure that only your phone
connects to your DnaBand.

Your Green DNA Bar
represents all the products
that are recommended for you
by your DNA.
But if you sit down for too long,
your Green DNA Bar will start
to turn amber and some of
the products will no longer be
recommended for you.
Your DnaBand measures how
long you spend sitting down.
For every 30 minutes you spend
sitting down, more of your
Green DNA Bar will turn amber!

You can turn it back to green
by moving more.
For cycling, please place the
Capsule in your pocket, sock
or shoe.
You can set your own target
for how many steps can cancel
30 minutes of sitting.
To update your goal for sitting
time equivalent steps, head to
your App.

Well done, your Green DNA Bar
is fully green.
Some of your green products
are no longer recommended
for you.
To check the status of your Green
DNA Bar, turn your DnaBand on
and sync with your App.
If you have exceeded your sitting
time limit, your DnaBand will start
to flash amber. Press the button
once to acknowledge.
To check if some of your Green
products have turned amber,
with your DnaBand switched off,
move your wrist up and down.
Scanning with your
DnaBand
Press the button once
to turn on the DnaBand.
Scanning by gesture
(Above the wrist)
Rotate your hand 90 degrees
towards you as if looking at
a watch - the barcode scanner
will activate.

Hold the product with
the barcode horizontal, in
line with your DnaBand.
If necessary, move your
wrist a little to focus the
scanner beam.

(Below the wrist)
Another way to scan is by
turning the DnaBand towards
the inner side of your wrist.
Hold the product with
barcode vertical.
With your wrist horizontal,
rotate your hand 90 degrees
away from you to activate
the scanner.

Scanning by button
The barcode scanner can
also be activated by
a short button press.
Adjust the scanner beam to
align with the barcode.

After scanning a product, the
LED will light to indicate the
recommendation.

If you are buying the product,
press the button once while
the LED remains lit.
If the button is pressed, the
LED will flash blue to show
that your purchase decision
has been stored.
If you do not scan a barcode
for 2 minutes, the DnaBand
will turn off to save battery
power (at this point, the red
LED will flash twice).
This period can be reduced
or extended in your App.

You can select ingredients that
you want to avoid in your App.
Make sure you then sync your
DnaBand and App.
If a scanned product contains
ingredients to avoid, the LED
recommendation will flash.

If you, or the other person, have had more than one type of
DnaNudge test (nutrition, cosmetics, etc), you will be able to
match each test.
The first LED colour will always indicate the nutrition match.
If you have not had the nutrition test, or any similar tests that
you can match, the colour will always be blue.

NudgeMatch
People can compare how
similar they may be for the
particular traits they have
been tested for.
Switch on your DnaBand,
then tap your DnaBand until
the LED turns purple to
indicate NudgeMatch mode
is active.
After activation, bring the two
DnaBands, both in NudgeMatch
mode, close together and note
the LED colour indications.

NudgeShare
Once the NudgeShare
settings are synced with your
App, activate NudgeShare
mode for friends and family
shopping by switching your
DnaBand on, then tapping
your DnaBand until the
LED turns purple.
While the LED light remains
lit, scan a product.
The LED light will change
colour to indicate if the
product is recommended for
the whole group.

Syncing your DnaBand
with your App
Turn ON Bluetooth
on your phone.
Place your DnaBand close to
your phone.
Switch ON your DnaBand.
Open the DnaNudge App,
select “Sync now”.

Charging your DnaBand
Remove the Capsule from
the DnaBand.
DnaBand battery status
can be seen in the App.
The LED flashes red when
the battery needs to be
charged.
Place the Capsule
in the charging cradle.
LED pulses yellow when
charging is in progress.
LED pulses green when
charging is complete
(up to one and a half hours
full charging time).

DnaNudge Limited warrants the Capsulefor a period of
one year after the date of purchase provided it has been
used and maintained in accordance with the instructions
If any defect due to faulty materials and workmanship
occurs within this one year warranty period, DnaNudge
Limited will repair or replace the capsule at its expense.
If you wish to claim under this warranty you will need to
provide proof of purchase.
This warranty does not cover any damage resulting from
a fall or impact, wear and tear or incorrect handling not
in compliance with the instructions for use.
These warranty restrictions do not affect your statutory
for use.
