INSTALLATION:
yFor pool gates and standard doors: Attach the Pool Alert to the door or gate by peeling off the tape or by utilizing
the butterfly hole. Then affix the individual entry sensor pieces to the gate/door frame with the included peel and
stick tape. Place the individual entry sensor pieces adjacent to each other as shown in illustration #1.
yFor sliding glass doors and windows: Follow the instructions above. Although the door or window will slide
instead of opening outward, the trigger mechanism is installed the same way. See illustration #2
yFor doors or windows with an uneven door jamb: Only use the piece of the entry sensor trigger mechanism with
the pin. The raised door jamb is used instead of the other piece to activate the alarm. See illustration #3.
yIt is recommended that you install the Pool Alert 54 inches above the threshold of the door or gate.
BATTERY INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT:
yLoosen the screw and slide down the battery cover in the lower part of the back panel.
yFollow the polarity instructions, and install two AAA Alkaline batteries (not included). Then gently slide the battery
cover up.
yAfter installing the batteries, the unit’s red LED light will flash continuously.
yChoose a 3-digit bypass code and enter it. There will be several short beeps and the red LED light will stop
flashing to show that your code has been successfully set. The unit now is ready to work.
yIf you forget your code, simply re-install the batteries and follow the steps above again.
OPERATION:
yMake sure the product is properly installed as directed above.
yWhen the door, gate or window is opened, the ALARM will go off immediately, accompanied by a flashing LED.
The alarm will continue to sound until it is turned off by pressing the bypass code or until the batteries are drained.
yTo pass through without triggering the ALARM, enter your bypass code and a series of beeps will be heard. You
now have 15 seconds to open the door or gate without triggering the ALARM.
NOTES:
yCheck the alarm condition periodically to ensure that the unit has sufficient battery power to operate properly as a
pool alarm.
yTo test the battery condition, simply open the gate/door. The loud alarm sound indicates its batteries are in good
condition.
yIf the batteries become weak, the LED will flash and the unit will beep periodically (every 30 seconds). Replace
with two fresh alkaline batteries immediately.

of the period as follows, which starts with the date of original purchase (“warranty period”), replace it with a new or a
refurbished product.

During the parts warranty period, there will be no charge for Parts. You must first email acquiring a RMA number, and
then mail-in your product during the warranty period. This warranty only applies to products purchased and serviced in
U.S.A./CANADA

The warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of a new product, which was not sold “as is”. A purchase
receipt or other proof of the original purchase is required for warranty service.

LIMITED WARRANTY LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS:
The Warranty ONLY COVERS failures due to defects in materials or workmanship, and DOES NOT COVER normal
wear and tear or cosmetic damage. The warranty ALSO DOES NOT COVER damages which occurred in shipment, or
failures which are caused by products not supplied by Doberman,or failures which result from accidents, misuse,
abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, faulty installation, set-up adjustments, miss-adjustment of
consumer controls, improper maintenance, power line surge, lighting damage, modification, rental use of the product,
serviced by anyone other that a factory service center or other unauthorized service, or damage that is attributable to
acts of God.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS LISTED UNDER “LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE”.
DOBERMAN IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE
OF THIS PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY, INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION, LOSS OF GOODWILL, PROFITS OR REVENUE, LOSS OF USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR ANY
ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT, COST OF SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT, DOWNTIME COSTS, OR CLAIMS OF ANY
PARTY DEALING WITH BUYER FOR SUCH DAMAGES.
(As examples, this excludes damages for lost time, cost of having someone remove or re-install an installed unit if
applicable, travel to and from the service provider. The items listed are not exclusive, but are for illustration only.)
ALL EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABLITY, ARE
LIMITED TO THE PERIOD OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states and/or provinces do not allow the exclusions or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, or
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have others rights which vary from state to state and

INSTALACIÓN:
yAdhiera el Pool Alert a la puerta, pelando la cinta mágica(incluida) o utilizando el sello de mariposa. Después
adhiera las piezas individuales del sensor de entrada a el marco de la puerta con la cinta de pele y pegue que
vienen incluidas. Coloque las piezas individuales del sensor de entrada juntas. Como muestra en el dibujo #1 ,
dibujo #2 & dibujo #3.
INSTALAR/REEMPLAZAR BATERÍAS:
ySafe el tornillo y deslize abajo la cubierta de baterías, localizada atrás del panel.
ySiga las instrucciones de polaridad e instale dos baterías AAA Alcalina (no incluidas).Después suavemente cierre
la cubierta.
yDespués de instalar las baterías, la luz roja del "LED" de la unidad se alumbrara continuamente.
yEscoga una clave personal usando 3 dígitos. Programe la clave en la unidad. Después de varios cortos sonidos
la luz roja del "LED" se apagara, confirmando que la unidad esta lista para funcionar.
ySi se olvida de su clave, simplemente vuelva a instalar las baterías y siga los pasos previos.
OPERACIÓN:
yAsegúrense que el producto este apropiadamente conectado como se indica según lo de arriba expuesto.
yCuando la puerta o el portón esta abierta, después de siete segundos la alarma se activaría y continuaría
sonando por treinta, acompañado con una LED luz intermitente. Si nadie asiste la alarma y el LED continuara
sonando cada treinta segundos. Este ciclo continuara hasta que la alarma se apaga con oprimiendo la cifra para
desactivarlo o hasta que se gastan las baterías.
yPara evitar esto se necesita que usar la cifra, usándolo seria acompañado con una seria de ruidos. Ahora tendrás
quince segundos para abrir la puerta o el portón sin encendiendo la alarma.
NOTAS:
yRevice las condiciones de la alarma para asegurarse que las baterías de la unidad tengan suficiente poder de
energía para funcionar correctamente como alarma de alberca.
yPara probar las condiciones de las baterías, simplemente abra la puerta, un sonido alto indica que las baterías
están en buenas condiciones, programe su clave personal para desactivar la unidad.
ySi las baterías están bajas, la luz roja del "LED" se alumbra y hay un sonido cada 30 segundos. Instale 2 baterías
alcalina nuevas inmediatamente.

con uno nuevo o restaurado, por el tiempo marcado al empezar de la fecha de compra original.

productos comprados o reparados en USA y Canadá. Garantía es extendida al comprador original de un nuevo
producto, no producto usado. Recibo de compra original se requiere para validar la garantía.

DOBERMAN NO ES RESPONSABLE POR DAÑOS INCIDENTAL O CONSECUENTE RESULTANDO POR EL USO
DE ESTE PRODUCTO O POR VIOLACIÓN DE ESTA GARANTÍA. SIN LIMITE DE BENEFICIOS Y RECURSOS,
COSTO DE REPLICAR EL PRODUCTO, RECURSOS POR TIEMPO PERDIDO, O RECLAMOS DE OTRA PERSONA
