Main Alarm Unit:
yRemove the front battery cover by sliding it downwards.
yUnscrew the water resistant cover.

yScrew on the water resistant cover.
yAfter the batteries are installed, the red LED will flash. The Main Alarm unit is now
prepared for the Remote Unit to learn the mutual control code.
yPress either the ARM or DISARM button on the Remote unit. Three short beeps will
sound and the red LED will flash to indicate that the Main Alarm unit has successfully
learned the code.

the battery compartment.
yThe red LED will turn on to indicate that the battery has been installed successfully.
yPress either of the two buttons on the Remote Unit to turn OFF the red LED.
OPERATION:
yAttach the alarm to the inside of your tool box, or on your window, door/gate, with the
included adhesive.
yWhen setting up the Multi-Purpose Alarm for the first time, place the magnetic
sensors adjacent to each other. Make sure that the two sensors are not separated by
more than half an inch when the tool box/window/door/gate is closed.
yAfter closing the tool box/window/door/gate, press the remote and wait for the
confirming beep: If one beep is heard, then the Multi-Purpose Alarm is armed. If
instead four beeps sound, then the magnetic sensors are too far apart and need to be
placed closer together. Open the tool box/window/door/gate, re-adjust the sensors,
and try again until a “beep” sound is heard. Now the Multi-Purpose Alarm is ready to
protect your valuables.
yUse the remote to arm and disarm the Multi-Purpose Alarm. These actions are
confirmed by an audible beep and LED flash.
yThe alarm will enter into arm status 5 seconds after the ARM button is pressed.
yIn the event of a break-in, the armed alarm and the LED will go off continuously for
one minute and then automatically reset to armed status.
yTurn OFF the alarm by pressing DISARM. Two short beeps will then sound
accompanied by an LED flash.
LOW BATTERY INDICATION:
Main Alarm Unit: When the battery power becomes low, the red LED will flash at 20

second intervals to remind the user that the batteries will need to be replaced soon.
Remote Unit: If the remote distance becomes obviously shorter than average, then may
indicate that the Remote unit’s battery is low and needs to be replaced.
NOTES:
yEach time new batteries are placed in the Main Unit or the Remote, the alarm needs
to re-learn the code by repeating the above steps.
yEnsure the unit has good battery power to operate as a security guard. Check its
power level periodically.
yWhen the Multi-purpose Alarm is not in use, please remove the batteries to conserve
power.
yFor better performance, alkaline batteries are recommended.
