Safety Precautions
User is required to comply with safety precautions while operating Do-
Cash vacuum packaging machine:
Before starting the machine, please fill in the oil into the vacuum pump
in the machine.
 Effect any service activity only after the power supply cable is
disconnected from the outlet!
 If the vacuum packaging machine was transported and stored un-
der low temperature conditions, it is required to keep it at least two hours
indoors before switching on.
 To avoid break-off or damage of the cable, it is required to hold on
the power supply plug while inserting it in the socket and pulling out.
Also avoid such actions when your hands are wet - it may cause an elec-
tric shock.
 Running water must not be used to wash the machine
Note
Please read this manual carefully before you start to operate the vacuum
packaging machine.
Note
It is forbidden to use the vacuum packaging machine without oil in the
pump. In standard delivery, pumps are not filled with oil. Oil is included
in complete set.
Note
Neutral earthing has been applied as an additional protection against
electrocution.

Purpose of the vacuum packaging machine
DoCash 2240/ DoCash 2241 vacuum packaging machine is a single-
chamber machine made of stainless steel used for vacuum packing of
banknotes and securities.
Vacuum packed banknotes and documents are protected against humid-
ity and wetting, dirt and dust. Plastic film package is transparent and
the marking strip allows for product description (e.g. institution name).
The marking strip is inserted in the pressure strip guide on the machine
cover. The strip can be easily replaced.
The vacuum packer operates automatically. Vacuum level and welding
time can be adjusted.
This Manual reflects relevant information at the time of publication and
may not include later alterations.

Vacuum unit
The vacuum unit allows for the chamber to be pumped out thus emptying
the bags placed into it, as well as the chamber re-aeration at the end of
the cycle.
Welding unit
The welding unit allows sealing bags by welding polyethylene film.
The welding unit consists of:
welding bar,
pressure strip with cliche,
welding strip supply transformer.
The welding assembly is equipped with Teflon adhesive tape and NiCr
wire.
Power supply
Power supply scheme is described in the service documentation of the de-
vice and is subject to be studied by service engineers who carry out re-
pairs.

Operation
Once the machine is unpacked completeness of delivery against the
documents supplied must be checked. Should any discrepancies be
discovered, a report should be made and sent out to your supplier.
How to prepare the machine for operation
1. Remove the machine from its base.
Lift the machine up and remove it from the base. Put the machine on
a flat horizontal surface.
If the surface is inclined, the machine should be levelled. Remove all
protective material like polystyrene foam pieces, paper, hardboard,
etc. from the chamber.
During installation, pay attention to leaving some space around the
machine. This will provide ventilation and avoid overheating.
2. Before starting up the machine, please fill oil into the vacuum
pump. (See " Oil Pump—Filling with oil")
3. Connect the machine to power supply.
Once it is connected to the system, turn the machine using the main
switch located on the front panel.

The machine is rather heavy.
Note
It is forbidden to use the vacuum packaging machine without oil in
the pump.

Packaging process
1. Setting up the packaging parameters.
Once the machine is on, you can proceed with parameters program-
ming i.e. vacuum level and welding time.
The pumping and welding parameters should be selected depending
on the type and thickness of film from which the bags are made.
Change the parameters by pressing buttons on the front panel. Right
parameters can be selected by trial-and-error method.
2. Preparation to vacuuming
Place the banknotes in the bag and place the latter into the machine
chamber. The bag should be placed with its opening facing the
welding bar. Straighten the bag so that there are no creases or wrin-
kles on it, especially at the surface to be welded. The packing ma-
chine is provided with spacers which allow to place the bag with
banknotes properly.
3. Vacuuming
Close the machine cover. The packaging process will start automati-
cally. The operations being carried out are shown by LEDs at the
front panel of the machine.
The vacuuming process can be stopped by pressing the STOP key
on the front panel.
4. End of packaging process
After the packaging process is over, the cover will open automati-
cally. Take the package with banknotes from the chamber and pro-
ceed with the next cycle, if necessary.

Technical maintenance
Current maintenance consists in checking oil level in the vacuum
pump and its refilling, if the level is too low. To provide correct oper-
ation of the machine, check the oil level at regular intervals through
the sight-glass at the machine back side.
The oil level must be maintained between MIN and MAX marks.
The machine contains no lubricating points and does not require peri-
odical lubrication.
Oil pump
General information
Note
Turbid oil (resembling white coffee) indicates contaminations and
should be refilled with new one. Carry out oil refilling according to
the instructions given in the “Oil Pump” Section.
Note
In standard delivery, the pump is not filled with oil.
Oil is included in the complete set and is delivered in a bottle placed
in the package with the machine.
Note
It is forbidden to use the vacuum packaging machine without oil in
the pump.

Oil Refilling
Oil refilling must be performed only when the machine power is off
and the plug is not connected to the power supply
Check regularly the colour of oil. It should be clear and transparent.
First oil refill is recommended after first 100 hours of work. Next re-
fills must be performed every 500-1000 hours of work.
Oil must be refilled in case oil vapour or odour appears during opera-
tion, or in case the packaging machine operates at ambient tempera-
ture exceeding 35°C.
It is advisable to start the pump 10…15 minutes before operation in or-
der to warm up oil. Cold oil impedes the motor and filter operation.
Note
It is obligatory to check the machine work after oil refilling.
Note
During operation, oil can heat up to 100°С. The pump also gets hot.
Be careful during maintenance and operation.

Replacement of Teflon-impregnated fabric tape,
cutter wire, and heating element
1. Detach the welding plate from the guides.
2. Undo two screws located horizontally from both sides of the
welding assembly.
3. Remove the metallic cover. You will see the contacts of the
conductors.
4. Unscrew three screws and release the conductors.
5. Unscrew two screws from below of the welding assembly.
6. Remove the Teflon tape.
7. Release the cutter and heating tape fastening on both sides of
the assembly.
8. Straighten the heating tape and the cutter from one side in such
a way that they could be released from the fastening.
9. Remove the used heater and cutter.
10. Pass the new heating element into the slot from one side, bend
it and fix with a screw.
11. Pass the second end of the heating element into the slot at the
opposite end of the welding assembly, tighten the heating ele-
ment with pliers so that it fits close to the surface of the weld-
ing assembly, and tighten the second screw.
12. Install the cutter in the same manner.
13. Paste the Teflon tape.
14. Assemble the machine in the way opposite to disassembling it.

Note:
The consumables must not be replaced free during the guarantee pe-

Storage and transportation
The vacuum packer must be transported onboard covered
means of transport; it must be secured against moving and falling
over. Its cover must be blocked during the transport. Do not tip the
machine at an angle more than 15° during loading and unloading.
If the packaging machine was kept at a temperature lower than
5°С(e.g., if transported in winter), it must be left indoors until the
temperature of all elements reaches 15°С.
The machine chamber and cover must be kept clean and dry
during storage. The machine must not be left with its cover locked
when there is no air in the chamber ("vacuum status"). The machine
must be stored indoors to protect it against atmospheric conditions.

The Manufacturer guarantees perfect operation of the vacuum packag-
ing machine during 12 months from the delivery date subject to com-
pliance with the conditions of use and storage indicated in this Manual
and additional conditions specified in the Warranty Coupon.
The Manufacturer is free from any obligation for the machine mal-
function caused by improper transportation, storage and use, as well
as by mechanical damage. In case of any faults detected during the
guarantee period, the owner has the right to have the device repaired
in official service centres.

Меры предосторожности
При работе свакуумным упаковщиком DoCash требуется со-
блюдать следующие меры безопасности:
 Перед началом эксплуатации упаковщика необходимо залить
масло ввакуумный насос аппарата .
При поставке оборудования масло не заправлено.
• Любые ремонтные исервисные работы производить
только при отсоединении прибора от сети электропитания
 При транспортировке ихранении прибора вхолодных
условиях перед включением его необходимо выдержать при
комнатной температуре не менее 2-хчасов.
 При включении ивыключении прибора из розетки сети
питания необходимо держаться только за вилку сетевого ка-
беля, во избежание разрыва или повреждения шнура. Также
запрещается производить подобные действия влажными рука-
ми, т. к. это может повлечь за собой поражение электрическим
током.
 Не разрешается мыть вакуумный упаковщик струей воды.

ВНИМАНИЕ
Вкачестве дополнительной защиты от поражения электрическим то-
ком применено защитное заземление. Подключайте аппарат врозетку
сзаземлением.

не залив масло ввакуумный насос!
