1. GENERAL DATA
REMARKS
MOUVEX truck screw-type compressors MUST be installed in
systems designed by qualified personnel. The installation MUST
be in compliance with local standards, national regulations and
rules of safety.
This manual is designed to permit installation and commis-
sioning of MOUVEX truck screw-type compressors and MUST
accompany the compressor. Maintenance of MOUVEX
screw-type compressors must ONLY be carried out by qua-
lified technicians. This maintenance must meet local and
national standards as well as all safety regulations.
Read this manual, including all instructions and warnings,
in full BEFORE any use of MOUVEX compressors. Do not
remove the warning and use label stickers that are found
on the compressors.
1.1 Safety informations
This is a SAFETY ALERT SYMBOL.
When you see this symbol on the product, or in the manual,
look for one of the following signal words and be alert to the
potential for personal injury, death or major property damage.
Warns of hazards that WILL cause serious personal injury, death
or major property damage.
Warns of hazards that CAN cause personal injury or property damage.
Warns of hazards that CAN cause personal injury or property
damage.
NOTICE
Indicates special instructions which are very important and
must be followed.
1.2 Safety check list
1.Before operating the compressor, ensure the vessel to which
the compressor is connected is certified to withstand the pres-
sure and/or vacuum produced.
2.Verify adequately sized relief valves have been fitted to protect
the vessel. Do not use solvents or inflammable products for
cleaning the pipelines and the accessories.
3.Gas/air mixtures which are potentially volatile/explosive must
not be introduced or allowed to be introduced into the compressor.
4. All pressure vessel and piping connected to the compressor must
be isolated and in a safe operating condition.
5.Operators should wear ear protection when operating truck
mounted compressors.
6. There are components within the compressor of sufficient weight
to cause injury if mishandled. Use proper lifting devices as
necessary.
7. Where necessary, this equipment should be grounded to
control static electricity.
8.The temperature of the air leaving the compressor is elevated
above ambient due to air compression. Check that the eleva-
ted temperatures do not adversely affect the product and any
material used in design of the system. Attach clearly marked
warning signs to warn of potentially hot surfaces on the com-
pressor, piping and accessories which will burn if touched.
9.Mounting of the compressor must be correctly engineered
and the compressor must be properly secured. Refer to the
chapter 5. INSTALLATION OF THE COMPRESSOR UNIT.

1. ALLGEMEINES
WICHTIG
Die LKW-Schraubenkompressoren von MOUVEX MÜSSEN in
Vorrichtungen installiert werden, die von qualifizierten Personen
konzipiert wurden. Die Installation MUSS den lokalen Normen, den
nationalen Vorschriften und Sicherheitsvorschriften entsprechen.
Dieses Handbuch soll die Installation und Inbetriebnahme
der Schraubenkompressoren von MOUVEX erlauben und
MUSS mit dem Kompressor mitgeliefert werden.
Die Instandhaltung der Schraubenkompressoren von MOUVEX
darf NUR qualifizierten Technikern anvertraut werden.
Die Instandhaltung muss unter Einhaltung der lokalen und
nationalen Normen sowie der Sicherheitsvorschriften erfol-
gen. Das Handbuch muss mit allen seinen Anweisungen
und Warnungen VOR dem Gebrauch der MOUVEX-
Kompressoren komplett zur Kenntnis genommen werden.
Alle Warn- und Hinweisaufkleber auf den Kompressoren
belassen.

1.2 Sicherheits-Checkliste
1.Vor Gebrauch des Kompressors ist sicherzustellen, dass der
Behälter (woran der Kompressor angebracht ist) gemäss
Druck und/oder erzeugtem Vakuum homologiert ist.
2.Sich vergewissern, dass die richtigen Überdruckventile zum
Schutz des Druckbehälters eingebaut sind. Zur Reinigung
von Rohren und Zubehör keine Lósungsmittel oder brennbaren
Produkte einsetzen.
3.Es dürfen keine potenziell flüchtigen oder explosionsgefähr-
deten Gas-Luft-Gemische in den Kompressor gelangen.
4.Sämtliche Druckbehälter und an den Kompressor ange-
schlossene Leitungen müssen isoliert und ihr sicherer Betrieb
gewáhrleistet sein.
5.Das Bedienpersonal hat beim Arbeiten mit in LKWs ein-
gebauten Kompressoren Ohrenschutz zu tragen.
6.Gewisse Kompressorteile sind schwer und können bei
unsachgemäBer Handhabung zu Verletzungen führen. Bei
bedarf geeignete Hubgeräte anwenden.
7. Es kann sich als notwendig erweisen, den Kompressor zu erden,
um die Wirkungen der statischen Elektrizität zu vermeiden.
8.Auf Grund der Verdichtung ist die Temperatur der Luft, die aus
dem Kompressor austritt, höher als die Umgebungstemperatur.
Es ist sicherzustellen, dass dieser Temperaturanstieg das
Produkt und die Materialien inner-halb des Systems nicht
beeinträchtigen kann. Es sind Hinweisschilder anzubringen,
aus denen klar und deutlich hervorgeht, dass die Oberflächen
des Kompressors, der Leitungen und der Zubehörteile heiß
werden und bei Kontakt Verbrennungen verursachen können.
9.Der Kompressor muss richtig eingebaut und befestigt werden.

in diesem Handbuch.

1. GÉNÉRALITÉS
REMARQUES
Les compresseurs à vis camion MOUVEX DOIVENT être ins-
tallés dans des dispositifs conçus par un personnel qualifié.
L'installation DOIT être conforme aux normes locales, aux règle-
ments nationaux et aux règles de sécurité.
Ce manuel est destiné à permettre l'installation et la mise
en route des compresseurs à vis camion MOUVEX et DOIT
accompagner le compresseur. L'entretien des compresseurs
à vis MOUVEX devra être effectué SEULEMENT par des
techniciens qualifiés.
Cet entretien devra respecter les normes locales et natio-
nales et les règles de sécurité. Lire intégralement ce manuel,
toutes les instructions et avertissements, AVANT toute uti-
lisation des compresseurs MOUVEX. Laisser en place tous
les autocollants d'avertissement et d'utilisation sur les
compresseurs.

1.2 Check list de sécurité
1.Avant d'utiliser le compresseur, assurez-vous que le réservoir
auquel il est raccordé est homologué pour la pression et/ou
le vide produit.
2. Vérifiez que des clapets de décharge correctement dimensionnés
ont été installés pour protéger le réservoir. Pour le nettoyage des
canalisations et accessoires, ne pas utiliser de solvants ou de
produits inflammables.
3.Il ne faut pas introduire ou laisser s'introduire dans le compres-
seur des mélanges gaz/air potentiellement volatils ou explosifs.
4.Tous les réservoirs sous pression et les conduits raccordés
au compresseur doivent être étanches et dans un état qui leur
permet de fonctionner en sécurité.
5.Les opérateurs doivent porter un protecteur d'oreilles lorsqu'ils
utilisent des compresseurs montés sur camion.
6.Certaines pièces du compresseur sont lourdes et elles peuvent
causer des blessures si elles ne sont pas manipulées correc-
tement. Utilisez des dispositifs de levage appropriés en cas de
besoin.
7.Le cas échéant, le compresseur doit être mis á la masse pour
éviter les effets de l'électricité statique.
8.En raison de la compression, la température de l'air qui sort
du compresseur est supérieure á la température ambiante.
Assurez-vous que cette élévation de la température n'affecte
pas le produit transféré et les matériaux utilisés dans le système.
Fixez des panneaux indiquant clairement que les surfaces
potentiellement chaudes du compresseur, des conduits et
des accessoires causent des brûlures en cas de contact.
9.Le montage du compresseur doit être correctement conçu et
le compresseur doit être correctement fixé. Reportez-vous au
Chapitre 5. INSTALLATION GROUPE COMPRESSEUR.
