FUNCTION INTRODUCTION
The structure of MT6 Pro is shown in Figure 1.

Button and Operation
There are 2 buttons on MT6 Pro pinpointer:
●POWER & MODE button
POWER button: Short press the button to turn on the motor, long
press the button to turn off.
MODE button: short press the button to change the modes.
Short press the power button to turn on the pinpointer, the motor will
make two beeps, then it will follow a beep again. When there is no
random signal, the detection can be started. It will automatically start
with the last mode used. If you need to switch the mode, short press the
mode button, and it will cycle through the modes in the following order:
AUDIO MODE, VIBRATION MODE, AUDIO+VIBRATION MODE
●Interference Cancelling Button
When electro magnetic interference occurs due to nearby power lines,
etc, the pinpointer may temporarily exhibit false signals. To correct this,
simply press the Interference Cancelling Button to return to the normal
detection state, then the white triangle will turn green.
LED Light
After the MT6 Pro is turned on, the LED light will light up, which means

the MT6 Pro is working. The LED light can also be used as a flashlight,
providing illumination in darkness and underwater to help locate objects.
Note: Simply press the power button twice quickly to turn on/off the LED
light.
LCD Screen
The LCD screen shows the signal of the detected target. The closer the
target, the stronger the signal.

IP68 Waterproof
The MT6 Pro is fully waterproof and submersible to hunt anywhere. You
can use it underwater up to 10 feet (3m) which is perfect for creeks,
rivers, lakes, and even diving. Please ensure the battery cover is fasten
tight when working underwater to avoid water leakage.
Search Probe & Search Area
The MT6 Pro includes a built-in antenna for transmitting and receiving

signals. The 0.78 - 1.18 inches (2-3cm) part of the head has higher
sensitivity when detecting.
Battery & Battery Cover
⚫Requires a 9V alkaline battery.
⚫When the white LED flashes continuously, it is time to change the
battery.
⚫Remove the battery when not in use.
QUICK-START
In order to master the usage of the Pinpointer MT6 Pro, it is
recommended that you read the quick start carefully and practice it
indoors and use it outdoors.
1. Prepare a test group of metal targets. The MT6 Pro is a non-motion ALL
METAL detector. This means that as long as you are close to the target, it
will respond to all kinds of metal. You do not need to be moving or
swinging the pinpointer for it to locate a target. You can use a quarter
coin as a test target.

2. To test, ensure that you remove any jewelry such as a watch, ring, or
other metal accessory. Ensure the MT6 Pro is several feet away from the
wall, the floor, or other metal objects. Also if testing indoors, ensure that
there are no electrical lights, televisions, computers, mobile phones or
other electrical appliances nearby that could cause electromagnetic
interference.
3. Place the quarter coin on a plastic or wooden table. Check to make
sure there are no metal items under the table or around the coin in order
to avoid other influence. Set MT6 Pro above the coin vertically.
4. Turn on the power supply. There will be two beeps, while the vibrator
will vibrate once, then it will be in the state of working.
5. Move the MT6 Pro straight downward and slowly approach the coin.
You should notice the motor begin to vibrate or beep. If you let MT6 Pro
fully approach the coin, the, LCD screen will show the full bar signal.
