Removethebatterypackbygraspingthepack’s
handleandpulling upward firmly.
Raise the tiller to the upright position at the
desiredangle and re-tightenthe knob.
Inserttheseatpostbolt into the holeatthebase
of the seat tube so that the bolt passes all the
waythrough boththe seattube and the seat post to
thehole onthe oppositeside.
Tightentheboltnearthetopof the seattubewith the
includedAllenwrench.
Remove your Spitfire Scooter from its
packaging.Loosen the tilleradjustment knob.
Replacethe battery pack,ensuring the battery
isfirmly inplace.
Attach the seat by lifting up on the handle on
the right side of the seat and placing the seat
downonthe scooter’sseat post.Releasethe handle
to lock the seat in place. When the seat is locked,
youwill hear aclick.
Install the seat post into the seat tube in the
scooter’s frameto the desired height.
Fullychargethescooter’sbatteries byinserting
the round charger connector into the battery
chargingterminal onthe scooter’sbattery pack and
insertingthe3-prongedplugintoa standard electrical
outlet.
Fullcharging normally takes6-8 hours, butcan take
as many as 10 hours depending on the batteries’
charge level when starting and the ambient
temperature.

freewheel mode lever is in the “drive”

READ BEFORE UNPACKING
This Quick Start Guide offers basic information on initial product
setup only. Read the owner’s manual and all supplemental
information thoroughly before operating the product for
information on safety, battery charging, basic operation, comfort
adjustments, disassembly and care and maintenance.

FIRST!
Your Spitfire EX Scooter is designed to be easily disassembled into 5 pieces for
convenient transport or storage.
The pieces are:
•Front Section (heaviest piece, 40 lbs.) •Rear Section •Battery Pack
•Seat •Front Basket
To disassemble your scooter:
1. Turn key switch to “OFF.”
2. Engage front wheel lock.
3. Place the freewheel mode lever in the “Drive” position.
4. Pull upward on the swivel-release lever to remove the seat from seat post.
5. Pull up on the battery pack to remove it from the scooter.
6. Pull up on the release lever to separate the front and rear sections.
