Description
Dromex® 6151 N95 adjustable, flat fold, 8-hour use, disposable dust mask,
is suitable for use against solid and water based liquid aerosols, that do not
contain oil, protecting the user from inhaling in dangerous particulates in
high dust areas, suitable for use in occupational areas such as mining,
agriculture, construction, general material handling and medical industry
applications.
They are also one part of an infection-control strategy.
Dromex® 6151 disposable dust mask, features the following:
• Meets CDC (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines for
M. Tuberculosis exposure control.
• Adjustable headband straps on cheeks allowing optimum fit.
• A non-metal adjustable nose clip for ease of moulding onto nose.
• Polyester synthetic material preventing allergies.
• Lightweight and comfortable to use.
The exhalation valve promotes cool and comfortable breathing within the
mask by removing hot exhaled breath, making the respirator easier to use,
especially in hot humid environments.
The pre-filter scrim protects the mask body from dirt and clogging making
this mask the ideal solution for prolonged user comfort.
Do not use this mask for surgical procedures.
Special Instructions
This respirator helps protect against certain particulate contaminants, but
does not eliminate exposure to or the risk of contracting disease or
infection. Misuse may result in sickness of death.
These respirators do not supply oxygen.
Do NOT use in oxygen deficient atmospheres (e.g. tanks or other poorly
ventilated areas).
The lifetime of a filter depends on many factors including the work rate,
the air flow and the concentration of the contaminant in the atmosphere.
A dust mask should be discarded and replaced with a new one if:
• The respirator is removed while in a contaminated area.
• Excessive clogging of the respirator causes breathing difficulty or
discomfort.
• The respirator becomes damaged.
All approved respirators shall be selected,fitted, used and maintained in
accordance with MSHA,OSHA and other applicable regulations.
Do not use these respirators or enter in an area where:
• The Oxygen concentration is not known or is less than 19%.
• Contaminants or their concentrations are unknown or are known to be
immediately dangerous to life or health.
• Particulate concentrations exceed levels fixed by the applicable health
and safety regulations or protection factors x NPF, whichever is lower.
• Gases and/or vapours are present except for respirators designated as
protecting against vapours.
• The requirement for leak tightness is unlikely to be achieved if worn
against a beard or facial stubble.
• Do not use in explosive atmospheres.
• Not to be used for firefighting.
When transporting this product, retain in its original packaging and keep
away from mechanical and chemical hazards.
None of the materials or processes used in the manufacture of these
products are known to be harmful to the wearer. The manufacturer has
examined under the system for ensuring quality of production by means
of monitoring and inspection.
These disposable dust half masks are designed to accommodate the basic
safety requirements and standards for Personal Protective Equipment.
The information contained herein is intended to assist the wearer in the
selection of personal protective equipment.
Actual conditions of use cannot be directly simulated in a test environment
therefore it is the responsibility of the end user and not the manufacturer
or supplier to determine the disposable dust, half mask suitability for the
intended use.

Packaging, Storage & Obsolescence
6151 is packed as 12 masks in individually sealed plastic packets packaged
in a box and sold as 240 masks in a carton for shipping.
Keep unused respirators in their closed box and store in a dry
non-contaminated area between -20 degrees and + 40 degrees Celsius.
Cleaning & Maintenance
This is a disposable item so no cleaning nor maintenance is required.
Fitting your Half Mask
1. Mould the nosepiece to the shape at your fingertips allowing the head
straps to hang below your hand.
2. Press the respirator against your face with the nosepiece on the bridge
of your nose.
3. Please the top strap high on the back of your head. Move the bottom
strap over your head and position it below your ears. Adjust the strap
tension by pulling the ring adjuster.
4. Using both hands, mould the nosepiece to the shape of your nose.
5. Test the fit:
• Cup both hands over the respirator and inhale vigorously
• If no negative pressure is felt inside the respirator, re-adjust the position
of the respirator according to steps#2 to steps#5 until you achieve a
better fit. Please be aware that the fit resistance may be different due to
adjustment of respirator.

Disposal
All industrial waste should be disposed of correctly according to local
regulations and good disposal practice. Respiratory protective devices
should be disposed of considering the hazardous substance they were
used for. Please consider recycling.
