durch und bewahren Sie diese für spätere Fragen und weitere Nutzer auf. Sie ist ein
Bestandteil des Gerätes.
Hersteller und Importeur übernehmen keine Haftung, wenn die Angaben in dieser
Anleitung nicht beachtet werden.
Bitte beachten: Die Abbildungen in dieser Anleitung können leichte Abweichungen
zum eigentlichen Gerät aufweisen.

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Das Gerät darf nur zum Erhitzen von Wasser verwendet werden, nicht zum Erhitzen
von Milch oder anderen Flüssigkeiten. Das Gerät nicht verwenden, um darin Tee
oder Kaffee zuzubereiten.
• Das Gerät ist für den privaten Hausgebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung
bestimmt.
• Das Gerät nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede weitere Verwendung
gilt als bestimmungswidrig.
• Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße
Behandlung, Beschädigung oder Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für
den normalen Verschleiß.
Sicherheitshinweise
■Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von
Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und
die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
■Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und
werden beaufsichtigt.
■Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre und Tiere sind vom Gerät und dem
Netzkabel fernzuhalten.
■VORSICHT: heiße Oberflächen! Das heiße Gerät nur
am Griff anfassen. Während des Betriebs oder kurz
danach Kontakt mit der Oberfläche des Gerätes
vermeiden. Diese wird sehr heiß!
■Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht und vor dem
Reinigen stets vom Netz zu trennen.
■Den Wasserkocher nur mit der mitgelieferten Basisstation ver-
wenden. Die Basisstation nicht mit anderen Geräten benutzen.
■Nie über die maximale Füllmenge hinausgehen (MAX-
Markierung auf der Wasserstandsanzeige beachten!). Ist der
Wasserkocher überfüllt, könnte kochendes Wasser aus der
Ausgusstülle austreten.

■Das Gerät im Interesse der eigenen Sicherheit vor jeder
Inbetriebnahme auf Beschädigungen überprüfen. Nur benutzen,
wenn das Gerät keine Schäden aufweist! Wenn das Gerät, das
Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker des Gerätes beschädigt ist,
muss es durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person (z.B. Fachwerkstatt) ersetzt werden, um
Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr
■Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen verwenden.
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit verwenden.
■Das Gerät, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten eintauchen und sicherstellen, dass diese Komponenten nicht ins Was-
ser fallen oder nass werden können.
■Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen, sofort die Stromzufuhr unterbrechen. Nicht ver-
suchen, das Gerät aus dem Wasser zu ziehen, während es am Stromnetz ange-
schlossen ist!
■Das Gerät, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Händen berüh-
ren, wenn diese Komponenten an das Stromnetz angeschlossen sind.
■Den Wasserkocher zum Befüllen, Ausgießen oder Reinigen von der Basisstation
nehmen. Darauf achten, dass kein Wasser in die Kontakte auf der Unterseite des
Wasserkochers eindringt.
WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen benutzen, in denen sich leichtentzündliche oder explo-
sive Substanzen befinden. Das Gerät nie in der Nähe einer Gasquelle betreiben.
■Das Gerät nicht zusammen mit anderen Verbrauchern (mit hoher Wattleistung) an
eine Mehrfachsteckdose anschließen, um eine Überlastung und ggf. einen Kurz-
schluss (Brand) zu vermeiden.
■Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbarem Material betreiben. Keine brennbaren
Materialien (z. B. Pappe, Papier, Holz, Kunststoff) in das Gerät legen.
■Das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht abdecken, um einen Gerätebrand zu
vermeiden. Nichts in die Öffnungen des Gerätes stecken und darauf achten, dass
diese nicht verstopft sind.
■Im Brandfall: Nicht mit Wasser löschen! Flammen mit einer feuerfesten Decke oder
einem geeigneten Feuerlöscher ersticken.
WARNUNG – Verletzungsgefahr
■Erstickungsgefahr! Kinder und Tiere vom Verpackungsmaterial fernhalten.
■Sturzgefahr! Darauf achten, dass das angeschlossene Netzkabel keine Stolperge-
fahr darstellt.
■Strangulationsgefahr! Sicherstellen, dass das Netzkabel stets außer Reichweite
von Kleinkindern und Tieren ist.

Verbrühungsgefahr durch Hitze, heißen Dampf oder Kondenswasser!
■Kontakt mit dem aufsteigenden Dampf aus der Ausgusstülle vermeiden. Den De-
ckel nicht während des Kochvorgangs öffnen. Das Gerät vor erneutem Befüllen
abkühlen lassen!
■Kochendes Wasser langsam und vorsichtig ausgießen, ohne dass das Gerät zu
schnell gekippt wird.
■Das Gerät nicht während des Kochvorgangs bewegen.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und Sachschäden
■Das Gerät immer mit einem Freiraum zu allen Seiten (mind. 20cm) und Freiraum
nach oben (mind. 30cm) auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen und hitzeunempfindli-
chen Untergrund stellen.
■Das Gerät nicht unter Küchenoberschränke o. Ä. stellen. Durch den aufsteigenden
Dampf könnten diese Schaden nehmen!
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit Schutzkontak-
ten, die mit den „Technischen Daten“ des Gerätes übereinstimmt, anschließen. Die
Steckdose muss auch nach dem Anschließen gut zugänglich sein, damit die Netz-
verbindung schnell getrennt werden kann.
■Das Gerät nicht in Verbindung mit Verlängerungskabeln nutzen.
■Das Netzkabel so verlegen, dass es nicht gequetscht oder geknickt wird und nicht
mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt.
■Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn während des Betriebes ein Fehler
auftritt, bei einem Stromausfall oder vor einem Gewitter.
■Beim Herausziehen aus der Steckdose immer am Netzstecker und nie am Netz-
kabel ziehen!
■Das Gerät niemals am Netzkabel ziehen oder tragen.
■Nur Original-Zubehörteile des Herstellers verwenden.
■Das Gerät vor Hitze, offenem Feuer, extremen Temperaturen, lang anhaltender
Feuchtigkeit, Nässe und Stößen schützen.

Den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit und Transportschäden überprüfen. Falls der Was-
serkocher, die Basisstation, der Netzstecker oder das Netzkabel Schäden aufweisen
sollten, das Gerät nicht(!) verwenden, sondern den Kundenservice kontaktieren.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
BEACHTEN!
■Das Gerät kann mit möglichen Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein. Um gesund-
heitliche Beeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden, das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch rei-
nigen.
■Niemals das Typenschild und eventuelle Warnhinweise entfernen!
1. Eventuelle Folien bzw. Aufkleber vom Gerät abziehen.
2. Den Wasserkocher mit einem feuchten, weichen Tuch reinigen (siehe Kapitel „Rei-
nigung und Pflege“).
3. Die Basisstation (4) auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen, wasser- und hitzebeständi-
gen Untergrund stellen. Darauf achten, dass das Gerät Kindern nicht zugänglich sein
darf.
4. Den Netzstecker in eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose stecken.
5. Den Wasserkessel (5) bis zur MAX-Markierung mit Trinkwasser füllen und aufko-
chen lassen (siehe Kapitel „Benutzung“). Dieses Wasser wegschütten und diesen
Vorgang zwei Mal wiederholen.
Nun ist der Wasserkocher betriebsbereit!

Benutzung
BEACHTEN!
■Vor jedem Kochvorgang sicherstellen, dass der Ein-/Ausschalter nicht blockiert
wird. Der Wasserkocher schaltet sich nur automatisch nach Beendigung des Koch-
vorganges aus, der Ein-/Ausschalter nicht blockiert wird.
1. Den Wasserkessel (5) von der Basisstation (4) nehmen. Den Deckel (2) abnehmen
und Trinkwasser in den Wasserkessel füllen. Darauf achten, dass die Wassermenge
zwischen der MIN-und MAX-Markierung liegt. Zu wenig Wasser führt dazu, dass
das Gerät vorzeitig abschaltet, beim Überschreiten der MAX-Markierung könnte
Wasser beim Kochen herausspritzen.
2. Den Deckel schließen und den Wasserkessel auf die Basisstation stellen.
3. Den Ein- / Ausschalter (3) auf die Position I(AN) stellen. Das Gerät wird eingeschal-
tet und die Kontrollleuchte leuchtet. Der Kochvorgang kann jederzeit abgebrochen
werden, indem den Ein- / Ausschalter auf die Position 0(AUS) gestellt wird.
4. Das Gerät schaltet automatisch ab, sobald das Wasser kocht. Der Ein- / Ausschalter
springt auf die Position 0(AUS) und die Kontrollleuchte schaltet sich aus.
5. Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen und den Wasserkessel von der Basissta-
tion nehmen, um das Wasser vorsichtig in ein entsprechendes Gefäß zu gießen. Den
Deckel während des Ausgießens geschlossen halten!
Der Wasserkessel kann bei Nichtgebrauch auf der Basisstation aufbewahrt werden. Den
Netzstecker jedoch immer aus der Steckdose ziehen.
Reinigung und Pflege
BEACHTEN!
■Zum Reinigen keine aggressiven, scheuernden oder giftigen Reinigungsmittel ver-
wenden.
• Das Gerät von außen mit einem sauberen, feuchten Tuch abwischen.
• Bei Bedarf kann für die Reinigung des Wasserkessels (5) etwas mildes Spülmittel ver-
wendet und das Gerät anschließend mit klarem, warmem Wasser ausgespült werden.
• Das Gerät arbeitsbereit halten. Kalkablagerungen vom Wasser sollten entsprechend
der Wasserqualität in der Gegend und der Häufigkeit der Verwendung regelmäßig
mit einem Entkalkungsmittel entfernt werden. Zur Entkalkung des Wasserkochers
die Anleitung des Entkalkungsmittels befolgen.
• Das Gerät an einem trockenen, sauberen, frostfreien Ort aufbewahren, der vor di-
rektem Sonnenlicht und dem Zugriff durch Kinder oder Tiere geschützt ist.

Fehlerbehebung
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Problem selbst
behoben werden kann. Lässt sich mit den genannten Schritten das Problem nicht lösen,
den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen, ein defektes elektrisches Gerät eigenständig zu
reparieren!

Intended Use
• The device may only be used to heat up water, not for heating up milk or other liq-
uids. Do not use the device to make tea or coffee in it.
• The device is for personal domestic use only and is not intended for commercial
applications.
• Use the device only as described in the instructions. Any other use is deemed to be
improper.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han-
dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear
and tear.
Safety Instructions
■This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply
with the relevant safety precautions.
■Children must not play with the device.
■Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by
children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are
supervised.
■Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept
away from the device and the mains cable.
■CAUTION: hot surfaces! Only hold the hot device by the
handle. Avoid contact with the surface of the device
during operation or shortly afterwards. It gets very
hot!
■The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when it is left unattended and before cleaning the device.
■Use the kettle only with the base station provided. Do not use
the base station with other devices.
■Never exceed the maximum fill level (note MAX mark in the wa-
ter kettle!). If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water could escape
from the pouring spout.
■In the interest of your own safety, you should inspect the device
for damage each time before you use it. The device may only
be used if it has no visible signs of damage! If the device, the

mains cable or the mains plug of the device is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department
or a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order
to avoid any hazards.
DANGER – Electric Shock Hazard!
■Use the device only in closed rooms.
■Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
■Never immerse the device, mains cable or mains plug in water or other liquids and
ensure that these components cannot fall into water or become wet.
■Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not at-
tempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
■Never touch the device, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands when these com-
ponents are connected to the mains power.
■Take the kettle off the base station to fill it, pour water or clean it. Make sure that no
water gets into the contacts on the bottom of the kettle.
WARNING – Fire Hazard!
■Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive substances.
Never operate the device in the vicinity of a gas source.
■Do not connect the device along with other devices (with a high wattage) to a multi-
ple socket, in order to prevent overloading and a possible short circuit (fire).
■Do not operate the device in the vicinity of combustible material. Do not place any
combustible materials (e. g. cardboard, paper or plastic) in the device.
■Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fire. Do
not insert anything into the openings of the device and make sure that these do not
become clogged.
■In the event of a fire: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the flames with a fire-
proof blanket or a suitable fire extinguisher.
WARNING – Danger of Injuries
■Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
■Risk of falling! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip
hazard.
■Risk of strangulation! Make sure that the mains cable is always kept out of the
reach of small children and animals.
Risk of scalding from heat, hot steam or condensation!
■Avoid coming into contact with the steam rising up from the pouring spout. Do
not open the lid during the boiling process. Allow the device to cool down before
filling it again!
■Pour out boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the device too quickly.
■Do not move the device during the boiling process.

NOTICE – Risk of Damages to Material and Property
■Always set up the device with a clear space on all sides (at least 20 cm) and clear
space above it (at least 30 cm) on a dry, flat, solid and heat-resistant surface.
■Do not place the device below kitchen wall units or similar cupboards. The rising
steam could cause damage to them!
■Only connect the device to a socket with safety contacts that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the device. The socket must also be readily accessible
after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
■Do not use the device in conjunction with extension cables.
■Position the mains cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent
and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket if an error occurs during operation, when
there is a power cut or before a thunderstorm.
■When you pull it out of the plug socket, always pull on the mains plug and never the
mains cable!
■Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.
■Protect the device from heat, naked flames, extreme temperatures, persistent mois-
ture, wet conditions and collisions.

Check the items supplied for completeness and possible transport damage. If the ket-
tle, base station, mains plug of mains cable should have any damage, do not use the
device(!), but contact our customer service department.

Before first use
PLEASE NOTE!
■There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful effects
to your health, clean the device before you first use it.
■Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
1. Pull any foils and stickers off of the device.
2. Clean the kettle with a damp, soft cloth (see chapter “Cleaning and Care”).
3. Place the base station (4) on a dry, water and heat-resistant, even surface with suf-
ficient space to flammable objects. Please ensure that the device is not accessible
to children.
4. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed and grounded socket.
5. Fill the water kettle (5) with tap water up to the MAX mark and let it boil up (see chap-
ter “Use”). Pour the water away afterwards. Repeat this process twice.
The kettle is now ready for use!
Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■Each time before boiling, ensure that the On/Off switch is not jammed. The device
only switches off automatically, when the On/Off switch is not jammed.
1. Take the water kettle (5) off the base station (4). Open the lid (2) and fill the water ket-
tle with drinking water. Make sure that the water level is between the MIN and MAX
marks. If there is not enough water in the kettle, the device will deactivate before
completing the boiling process; if it is filled past the MAX mark, water may spray out
during the boiling process.
2. Close the lid and place the kettle on the base station.
3. Set the On / Off (3) switch of the kettle to position I(ON). The device will turn on and
the control light will illuminate. You can interrupt the boiling process at any time by
setting the On / Off switch to position 0(OFF).
4. The kettle automatically deactivates once the water has boiled. The On / Off switch
sets automatically to position 0(OFF) and the control light switches off.
5. Remove the power plug from the socket and take the kettle off of the base station
and carefully pour the water into a suitable container. Keep the lid closed when
pouring out the water.
If not in use, the water kettle may be stored on the base station. However, be sure to pull
the mains plug out of the socket.

■When cleaning, do not use any aggressive, scouring or toxic cleaners.
• Wipe the device off from the outside with a clean, damp cloth.
• To clean the water kettle (5) you can use a small amount of mild detergent if needed
and rinse the device off with clean, warm water afterwards.
• Keep the device in a ready-to-operate state. You should remove limescale from
water on a regular basis and according to the water quality in your region and the
frequency of use. Use a decalcifier for this. Follow the instructions of the decalcifier
when decalcifying the kettle.
• Store the device in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected from direct sunlight
and cannot be accessed by children or animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.

lait ou tout autre liquide. N’utilisez jamais votre appareil pour préparer du thé ou du
café à l’intérieur.

• Utilisez cet appareil uniquement tel qu’indiqué dans le présent mode d’emploi. Toute
autre utilisation est considérée comme non conforme.
• Tout défaut imputable à une utilisation non conforme, à une détérioration ou à des
tentatives de réparation est exclu de la garantie. L’usure normale est également

■ATTENTION, surfaces chaudes ! Saisissez l’appareil
brûlant uniquement par sa poignée. Pendant et juste
après l’utilisation, évitez de toucher la surface de
l’appareil. Celle-ci devient très chaude !
■ L‘appareil doit toujours être débranché du secteur lorsqu‘il n‘est pas
sous surveillance ou avant nettoyé.
■Utilisez la bouilloire uniquement avec la station de base fournie.
N’utilisez pas la station de base pour d’autres appareils.
■Ne dépassez jamais la quantité de remplissage maximale
(observez le marquage MAX sur le repère de niveau d’eau). Si la
bouilloire est trop remplie, de l’eau bouillante pourrait s’échapper
du bec.
■Pour votre propre sécurité, contrôlez l‘appareil avant chaque
utilisation et assurez-vous qu‘il ne présente aucun dommage.

L‘appareil doit uniquement être utilisé s‘il ne présente aucun
dommage apparent ! Si l‘appareil lui-même, son cordon d‘ali-
mentation ou sa fiche sont endommagés, c‘est au fabricant, au
service après-vente ou à toute personne aux qualifications simi-
laires (par ex. un atelier spécialisé) qu‘il revient de le réparer afin
d‘éviter tout danger.
DANGER – Risque d’électrocution !
■Utilisez l’appareil uniquement dans des locaux fermés.
■N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans des pièces à fort taux d’humidité.
■Ne plongez jamais l’appareil, le cordon d’alimentation et la fiche secteur dans l’eau
ou tout autre liquide et assurez-vous que ces composants ne risquent pas de tomber
dans l’eau ou d’être mouillés.
■Si l’appareil devait tomber à l’eau, coupez immédiatement l’alimentation électrique.
N’essayez pas d’extraire l’appareil de l’eau tant qu’il est encore raccordé au réseau
électrique !
■Ne saisissez jamais l’appareil, le cordon d’alimentation et la fiche secteur à mains
humides lorsque ces composants sont raccordés au réseau électrique.
■Pour remplir, vider ou nettoyer la bouilloire, vous devez la retirer de sa station de
base. Prenez cependant soin à ne pas faire pénétrer d’eau au niveau des contacts
en face inférieure de la bouilloire.
AVERTISSEMENT – Risque d’incendie !
■N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans des locaux renfermant des substances facilement in-
flammables ou explosives. N’utilisez pas l’appareil à proximité d’une source de gaz.
■Ne branchez pas l’appareil avec d’autres consommateurs (puissants) sur une multi-
prise afin d’éviter toute surcharge, voire un court-circuit (incendie).
■N’utilisez pas l’appareil à proximité de matériaux inflammables. Ne mettez pas de
matières inflammables (par ex. du carton, du papier, du bois ou du plastique) à
l’intérieur de l’appareil.
■Afin d‘éviter tout risque d‘incendie de l‘appareil, ne le couvrez pas lorsqu‘il est en
cours de fonctionnement. N‘introduisez aucun objet dans les orifices de l‘appareil et
assurez-vous que ces derniers ne sont pas obstrués.
■En cas d‘incendie : n‘éteignez pas avec de l‘eau ! Étouffez les flammes à l‘aide d‘une
couverture ignifuge ou d‘un extincteur approprié.

■Risque d’asphyxie ! Ne laissez pas les emballages à la portée des enfants ou des
animaux.
