Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Das Gerät darf nur zum Erhitzen von Wasser verwendet werden, nicht zum Erhitzen
von Milch oder anderen Flüssigkeiten. Das Gerät nicht verwenden, um darin Tee
oder Kaffee zuzubereiten.
• Das Gerät ist für den Privatgebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung bestimmt.
• Das Gerät nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede weitere Verwendung
gilt als bestimmungswidrig.
• Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße
Behandlung, Beschädigung oder Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für den
normalen Verschleiß.

bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachlesen auf. Bei Weitergabe des Gerätes ist auch
diese Anleitung mitzugeben.

Anleitung nicht beachtet werden.

Sicherheitshinweise
■Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen be-
nutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des siche-
ren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus
resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
■ Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■ Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind 8 Jahre oder älter
und werden beaufsichtigt.
■ Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Gerät und der Anschlusslei-
tung fernzuhalten.
■Vorsicht: heiße Oberflächen! Das heiße Gerät nur am
Griff anfassen. Während des Betriebs oder kurz da-
nach Kontakt mit der Oberfläche des Gerätes vermei-
den. Diese wird sehr heiß!
■ Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht und vor dem Reini-
gen stets vom Netz zu trennen.
■ Den Wasserkocher nur mit der mitgelieferten Basisstation ver-
wenden. Die Basisstation nicht mit anderen Geräten benutzen.
■ Nie über die maximale Füllmenge hinausgehen (MAX-
Markierung auf der Wasserstandsanzeige beachten!). Ist der
Wasserkocher überfüllt, könnte kochendes Wasser aus der
Ausgusstülle austreten.
■ Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen. Das Netzkabel
darf nicht selbst ausgetauscht werden. Wenn das Gerät, die
Anschlussleitung oder der Netzstecker des Gerätes beschädigt
ist, muss es durch den Hersteller oder Kundenservice oder eine
ähnlich qualifizierte Person (z.B. Fachwerkstatt) ersetzt werden,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

Verletzungsgefahren
■ Verletzungs- und Erstickungsgefahr! Kinder und Tiere vom Gerät und
Verpackungsmaterial fernhalten.
■Verbrühungsgefahr! Vorsichtig mit heißem Dampf und heißem Wasser umgehen.
Kontakt mit dem aufsteigenden Dampf aus der Ausgusstülle vermeiden. Den Deckel
nicht während des Kochvorgangs öffnen. Das Gerät vor erneutem Befüllen abküh-
len lassen!
■ Das Gerät nicht während des Kochvorgangs bewegen.
■ Vorsichtig sein, wenn das Gerät mit heißem Wasser darin bewegt wird.
■ Kochendes Wasser langsam und vorsichtig ausgießen, ohne dass das Gerät zu schnell
gekippt wird.
■ Das Netzkabel so verlegen, dass es keine Stolpergefahr darstellt. Das Netzkabel
nicht über den Rand von Tischen oder Küchentheken hängen lassen. Es könnte
jemand hängen bleiben und das Gerät herunterziehen.
Stromschlaggefahr
■ Das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit Schutzkontakten
anschließen. Die Steckdose muss auch nach dem Anschließen gut zugänglich sein,
damit die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt werden kann. Die Netzspannung muss
mit den technischen Daten des Gerätes übereinstimmen. Nur ordnungsgemäße
Verlängerungskabel, deren technische Daten mit denen des Gerätes übereinstim-
men, verwenden.
■ Den Wasserkocher, die Basisstation, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals
in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten eintauchen und sicherstellen, dass diese nicht
ins Wasser fallen oder nass werden können.
■ Sollte die Basisstation ins Wasser fallen, sofort die Stromzufuhr unterbrechen. Nicht
versuchen, diese aus dem Wasser zu ziehen, während sie am Stromnetz ange-
schlossen ist!
■ Den Wasserkocher, die Basisstation, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals
mit feuchten Händen berühren, wenn diese Komponenten am Stromnetz ange-
schlossen sind.
■ Den Wasserkocher zum Befüllen, Ausgießen oder Reinigen von der Basisstation
nehmen. Darauf achten, dass kein Wasser in die Kontakte auf der Unterseite des
Wasserkochers eindringt.
■ Das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn wäh-
rend des Betriebes ein Fehler auftritt oder vor einem Gewitter.
■ Immer am Netzstecker und nie am Netzkabel ziehen.
■ Die Basisstation nicht am Netzkabel ziehen oder tragen.
■ Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen verwenden. Das Gerät nicht in einer sehr
feuchten Umgebung benutzen.
■ Das Netzkabel darf nicht gequetscht, geknickt oder über scharfe Kanten gelegt wer-
den und nicht mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommen (Gefahr von Kabelbruch).
■ Das Gerät vor jeder Inbetriebnahme auf Beschädigungen überprüfen. Es darf nur
verwendet werden, wenn es keine Schäden aufweist!

Brandgefahr
■ Das Gerät nicht in Räumen verwenden, in denen sich leichtentzündlicher Staub
oder giftige sowie explosive Dämpfe befinden.
■ Ausreichend Abstand zu Wärmequellen und offenem Feuer halten, um Geräteschä-
den zu vermeiden.
■ Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbarem Material betreiben.
■ Das Gerät nicht zusammen mit anderen Verbrauchern (mit hoher Wattleistung) an
eine Mehrfachsteckdose anschließen, um eine Überlastung und ggf. einen Kurz-
schluss (Brand) zu vermeiden.
Vermeiden von Material-, Sach- und Geräteschäden
■ Die Basisstation immer auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen und hitzebeständigen
Untergrund stellen.
■ Kein zusätzliches Zubehör verwenden.
■ Das Gerät nicht ohne Wasser oder mit weniger Wasser als bis zur MIN-Markierung
betreiben. Sollte dies doch vorkommen, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab. In
diesem Fall das Gerät abkühlen lassen, bevor kaltes Wasser eingefüllt und das Gerät
erneut verwendet wird.
■ Das Gerät nicht fallen lassen und keinen starken Stößen aussetzen.
■ Das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, starken Temperaturschwankungen oder
direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aussetzen.
Hygienehinweise
■ Das Gerät kann mit möglichen Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein. Um gesund-
heitliche Beeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden, das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch rei-
nigen (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“).
■ Das Gerät sauber halten.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
ACHTUNG!
■ Erstickungsgefahr durch Plastikfolien und -beutel! Kinder und Tiere vom Verpa-
ckungsmaterial fernhalten.
■ Das Gerät, wie in diesem Kapitel beschrieben, reinigen. Es kann mit möglichen
Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein.
1. Den Lieferumfang auspacken und auf Vollständigkeit (siehe Kapitel „Lieferumfang
und Geräteübersicht“) und Transportschäden überprüfen. Falls der Wasserkocher,
die Basisstation, der Netzstecker oder das Netzkabel Schäden aufweisen sollten, das
Gerät nicht(!) verwenden, sondern den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
2. Vor der Benutzung des Gerätes sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial sowie eventuell
vorhandene Etiketten, die sich am Gerät befinden und zum Transportschutz bzw.
zur Werbung dienen, entfernen.
3. Den Wasserkocher mit einem sauberen, feuchten Tuch abwischen. Den Wasserko-
cher mit etwas mildem Spülmittel und klarem Wasser ausspülen. Achtung! In die
Kontakte auf der Unterseite des Wasserkochers darf kein Wasser eindringen!
Dies könnte einen Kurzschluss verursachen.
4. Auf der Unterseite der Basisstation (5) das Netzkabel auf die gewünschte Länge auf-
bzw. abwickeln. Das Netzkabel dann in den dafür vorgesehenen Schlitz am Rand
der Basisstation (5) legen.

5. Die Basisstation auf eine trockene und hitzebeständige, ebene Fläche in ausreichen-
dem Abstand zu brennbaren Gegenständen aufstellen.
6. Den Netzstecker in eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte und geerdete 220 – 240 V-
Steckdose mit Schutzkontakten stecken.
7. Den Wasserkocher bis zur MAX-Markierung mit Trinkwasser füllen und es aufko-
chen lassen (siehe Kapitel „Benutzung“). Dieses Wasser wegschütten und den Vor-
gang zwei Mal wiederholen.
Nun ist der Wasserkocher betriebsbereit!
Benutzung
ACHTUNG!
"Verbrühungsgefahr! Vorsicht vor austretendem Dampf! Vorsichtig sein beim Aus-
gießen von heißem Wasser.
"Verbrühungsgefahr! Das Gerät nur außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und
Tieren benutzen und lagern. Auch das Netzkabel darf für Kinder nicht erreichbar
sein. Sie könnten das Gerät daran herunterziehen.
"Vorsicht – Heiße Oberflächen! Das heiße Gerät nur am Griff anfassen. Während
des Betriebs oder kurz danach Kontakt mit der Oberfläche des Gerätes ver-
meiden. Diese wird sehr heiß!
" Nicht mehr Wasser als bis zur MAX-Markierung einfüllen, da sonst beim Kochen
Wasser aus der Ausgusstülle herausspritzen kann.
" Das Gerät mindestens bis zur MIN-Markierung befüllen! Das Gerät schaltet sich
automatisch ab, wenn zu wenig Wasser im Wasserkessel ist!
1. Falls nicht bereits geschehen, die Basisstation (5) auf einen trockenen, ebenen,
festen und hitzebeständigen Untergrund stellen und den Netzstecker in eine ord-
nungsgemäß installierte Steckdose stecken.
2. Den Wasserkocher von der Basisstation (5) nehmen. Die Taste zum Öffnen des
Deckels (2) drücken und Deckel (1) öffnen. Trinkwasser in den Wasserkessel (7)
füllen. Achtung! Die Wassermenge muss zwischen der MIN-und MAX-Markierung
liegen. Zu wenig Wasser führt dazu, dass das Gerät vorzeitig abschaltet, beim Über-
schreiten der MAX-Markierung könnte Wasser beim Kochen herausspritzen.
3. Den Deckel (1) schließen und den Wasserkocher auf die mitgelieferte Basisstati-
on (5) stellen.
4. Den Ein-/ Ausschalter (4) auf die Position I(AN) stellen. Das Gerät wird eingeschal-
tet und die LED-Kontrollleuchte (6) leuchtet blau. Der Kochvorgang kann jederzeit
abgebrochen werden, indem der Ein- /Ausschalter (4) auf die Position 0(AUS) ge-
stellt wird.
5. Das Gerät schaltet automatisch ab, sobald das Wasser kocht. Der Ein- /Ausschal-
ter (4) springt auf die Position 0(AUS) und die LED-Kontrollleuchte (6) schaltet sich
aus.
6. Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen und den Wasserkocher von der Basissta-
tion (5) nehmen, um das Wasser vorsichtig in ein entsprechendes Gefäß zu gießen.
Den Deckel (1) während des Ausgießens geschlossen halten!

Der Wasserkocher kann bei Nichtgebrauch auf der Basisstation (5) aufbewahrt werden.
Der Netzstecker muss jedoch aus der Steckdose gezogen werden.
Falls der Wasserkocher versehentlich ohne Wasser betrieben wurde, schaltet
sich das Gerät automatisch ab. In diesem Fall das Gerät abkühlen lassen, bevor
es erneut verwendet wird.
Reinigung und Pflege
ACHTUNG!
■Verbrennungsgefahr! Das Gerät vor der Reinigung vollständig abkühlen lassen.
■Stromschlaggefahr! Vor jeder Reinigung der Basisstation den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
■Stromschlaggefahr! Den Wasserkocher, die Basisstation, das Netzkabel und den
Netzstecker niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten tauchen. Diese Teile nie-
mals mit feuchten Händen berühren. Das Gerät ist nicht spülmaschinengeeignet.
■Oberflächen können beschädigt werden! Zum Reinigen keine giftigen, ätzen-
den oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel und Scheuerschwämme verwenden. Diese
können die Ober"äche beschädigen.
• Das Netzkabel regelmäßig auf Beschädigungen prüfen.
• Den Wasserkocher von außen (und bei Bedarf auch die Basisstation (5)) mit einem
sauberen, feuchten Tuch abwischen. Danach trocken nachwischen.
• Das Gerät arbeitsbereit halten. Kalkablagerungen vom Wasser entsprechend der
Wasserqualität in der Gegend und der Häu#gkeit der Verwendung regelmäßig mit
einem Entkalkungsmittel entfernen. Zur Entkalkung des Wasserkochers die Anlei-
tung des Entkalkungsmittels befolgen.
Fehlerbehebung
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Problem selbst
behoben werden kann.
Nicht versuchen, ein defektes elektrisches Gerät eigenständig zu reparie-
ren!

• Steckt der Netzstecker richtig in der Steckdose?
• Ist die Steckdose defekt? Eine andere Steckdose auspro-
bieren.
• Die Sicherung des Netzanschlusses überprüfen.
• Ist das Gerät überhitzt? Warten, bis es sich abgekühlt hat,
Wasser einfüllen und es erneut versuchen.
Das Gerät schaltet
ab, bevor das
Wasser kocht.
• Hat die Wassermenge die MIN-Markierung unterschritten?

• Wird das Gerät zum ersten Mal verwendet? Eine Geruchs-
entwicklung tritt bei der ersten Benutzung neuer Geräte
häufig auf. Der Geruch sollte verschwinden, nachdem das
Gerät mehrmals benutzt wurde.
• Wurde der Wasserkocher zuvor entkalkt? Den Wasserko-
cher mit klarem Wasser ausspülen.

Safety Instructions
■This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/ or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply
with the relevant safety precautions.
■ Children must not play with the device.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by chil-
dren, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are supervised.
■ Children younger than 8 years of age must be kept away from
the device and the connecting cable.
■Caution: hot surfaces! Only hold the hot device by the
handle. Avoid contact with the surface of the device
during operation or shortly afterwards. It gets very
hot!
■ The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when it is left unattended and before cleaning it.
■ Use the kettle only with the base station provided. Do not use
the base station with other devices.
■ Never exceed the maximum fill level (note the MAX marking on
the water level indicator!). If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water
could escape from the pouring spout.
■ Do not make any modifications to the device. You may not re-
place the mains cable yourself. If the device, the connecting
cable or the mains plug of the device is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or customer service department
or a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order
to avoid any hazards.
Dangers of Injury
■ Danger of injury and suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the device
and packaging material.
■Danger of scalding! Be careful when handling hot steam and hot water. Avoid com-
ing into contact with the steam rising up from the pouring spout. Do not open the lid
during the boiling process. Allow the device to cool down before filling it again!
■Do not move the device during the boiling process.
■ Be careful when the device is moved with hot water in it.

■Pour out boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the device too quickly.
■ Always lay the mains cable in such a way that it does not present a trip hazard. Do
not allow the mains cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others
may become caught and pull the device down.
Danger of Electric Shock
■ The device should only be connected to a properly installed plug socket with safety
contacts. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that
the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match
the technical data of the device. Only use suitable extension cables whose technical
data is the same as that of the device.
■ Never immerse the kettle, base station, mains cable or mains plug in water or other
liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
■ Should the base station fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do
not attempt to pull it out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
■ Never touch the kettle, base station, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands when
these components are connected to the mains power.
■ Take the kettle off the base station to fill it, pour water or clean it. Make sure that no
water gets into the contacts on the bottom of the kettle.
■ Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket if an error occurs
during operation or before a thunderstorm.
■ Always pull the mains plug and never the mains cable.
■ Do not pull or carry the base station by the mains cable.
■ Use the device only in closed rooms. Do not use the device in a very damp environ-
ment.
■ The mains cable must not be squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and must not
come into contact with hot surfaces (danger of cable breaking).
■ Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. It may only be
used if it has no visible signs of damage!
Danger of Fire
■ Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust or poisonous and
explosive fumes.
■ Maintain a sufficient distance from heat sources and naked flames in order not to
damage the device.
■ Do not operate the device in the vicinity of combustible material.
■ Do not connect the device along with other consumers (with a high wattage) to a mul-
tiple socket in order to prevent overloading and a possible short circuit (fire).

Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
■Always place the base station on a dry, even, firm and heat-resistant surface.
■ Do not use any additional accessories.
■ Do not operate the device without water or with less water than is required to reach
the MIN marking. If this does happen, the device switches off automatically. In this
case, allow the device to cool down before cold water is poured in and the device is
used again.
■ Do not drop the device or subject it to heavy impacts.
■ Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature variations or
direct sunlight.
Notes on Hygiene
■ There may still be some production residues on the device. To avoid harmful effects
to your health, clean the device before you first use it (see the “Cleaning and Care”
chapter).
■ Keep the device clean.

Before Initial Use
ATTENTION!
■Danger of suffocation from plastic films and bags! Keep children and animals away
from the packaging material.
■ Clean the device in the manner described in this chapter. It is possible that production
residues may still be adhering to the surfaces.
1. Unpack the items supplied and check them for completeness (see the “Items Sup-
plied and Device Overview” chapter) and possible transport damage. If the kettle,
base station, mains plug of mains cable should have any damage, do not use the
device (!), but contact our customer service department.
2. Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be
on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
3. Wipe the kettle with a clean, damp cloth. Rinse out the kettle with a little mild de-
tergent and clear water. Attention! No water must get into the contacts on the
bottom of the kettle! This could cause a short circuit.
4. On the bottom of the base station (5), wind up or unwind the mains cable to the length
you require. Then place the mains cable into the slot which is provided for it on the
edge of the base station (5).
5. Place the base station (5) on a dry, heat-resistant, flat surface a sufficient distance
away from flammable objects.
6. Plug the mains plug into a properly installed and earthed 220 – 240 V plug socket
with earthing contacts.
7. Fill the kettle up to the MAX marking with drinking water and allow it to boil (see the
“Use” chapter). Pour this water away and repeat the process twice.
The kettle is now ready for operation!
Use
ATTENTION!
■Danger of scalding! Beware of steam escaping! Be careful when pouring out hot
water.
■Danger of scalding! The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of
children and animals. The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of children.
Otherwise they might use the cable to pull the device down on themselves.
■Caution – Hot surfaces! Only hold the hot device by the handle. Avoid contact
with the surface of the device during operation or shortly afterwards. It gets
very hot!
■ Do not fill water any higher than up to the MAX marking as otherwise water can spray
out of the pouring spout when it boils.
■ Always fill the device at least up to the MIN marking. The device switches itself off
automatically if there is too little water in the kettle!
1. If you have not already done so, place the base station on a dry, flat, solid and
heat-resistant surface and plug the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket.

2. Remove the kettle from the base station (5). Press the button for opening the lid (2)
and open the lid (1). Pour drinking water into the kettle (7). Attention! The amount
of water must be between the MIN and MAX marking. Too little water means that the
device will switch off too early; if the MAX marking is exceeded, water could spray
out during boiling.
3. Close the lid (1) and place the kettle on the base station (5) which is provided.
4. Move the On / Off switch (4) to position I(ON). The device is switched on and the LED
control lamp (6) lights up blue. The boiling process can be aborted at any time by
moving the On / Off switch (4) to position 0(OFF).
5. The device switches off automatically as soon as the water boils. The On / Off
switch (4) !ips to position 0(OFF) and the LED control lamp (6) switches off.
6. Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and remove the kettle from the base sta-
tion (5) so that you can pour the water carefully into an appropriate vessel. Keep the
lid (1) closed while you pour the water!
The kettle can be stored on the base station (5) when it is not being used. However, the
mains plug must be pulled out of the plug socket.
If the kettle has accidentally been operated without any water in it, the device
switches itself off automatically. In this case, allow the device to cool down before
it is used again.
Cleaning and Care
ATTENTION!
#Danger of burns! Allow the device to cool completely before cleaning it.
#Danger of electric shock! Remove the mains plug from the mains socket before
cleaning the base station.
#Danger of electric shock! Never immerse the kettle, base station, mains cable or
mains plug in water or other liquids. Never touch these parts with wet hands. The
device is not dishwasher-safe.
#Surfaces could be damaged! Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents or scouring sponges to clean the device. These can damage the surface.
• Check the mains cable regularly for any damage.
• Wipe down the kettle on the outside (and If necessary the base station (5) too) with a
clean, damp cloth. Then wipe it dry.
• Keep the device ready to operate. You should regularly remove water limescale de-
posits with a descaling agent in accordance with the water quality in your area and
how often the device is used. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling
agent to descale the kettle.

Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!

Consignes de sécurité
■ Cet appareil peut être utilisé par les enfants à partir de 8 ans
et les personnes dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou
mentales sont réduites ou qui manquent d’expérience et / ou de
connaissances lorsqu’elles sont sous surveillance ou qu’elles
ont été instruites quant à l’utilisation de l’appareil en toute sécu-
rité et qu’elles ont compris les risques en découlant.
■ Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l’appareil.
■ Le nettoyage et l’entretien utilisateur ne doivent pas être réali-
sés par les enfants sauf s’ils ont 8 ans et plus et qu’ils sont sous
surveillance.
■ Tenez l’appareil et son cordon d’alimentation hors de portée des
enfants de moins de 8 ans.
■Attention, surfaces chaudes ! Saisissez l’appareil brû-
lant uniquement par sa poignée. Pendant et juste après
l’utilisation, évitez de toucher la surface de l’appareil.
Celle-ci devient très chaude !
■ L’appareil doit toujours être débranché du secteur lorsqu’il n’est
pas sous surveillance et avant d’être nettoyé.
■ Utilisez la bouilloire uniquement avec la station de base fournie.
N’utilisez pas la station de base pour d’autres appareils.
■ Ne dépassez jamais la quantité de remplissage maximale
(observez le marquage MAX sur le repère de niveau d’eau).
Si la bouilloire est trop remplie, de l’eau bouillante pourrait
s’échapper du bec.
■ Ne procédez à aucune modification sur l’appareil. Ne rempla-
cez pas par vous-même le cordon d’alimentation. Si l’appareil
lui-même, son cordon d’alimentation ou sa fiche sont endom-
magés, c’est au fabricant, au service après-vente ou à toute
personne aux qualifications similaires (par ex. un atelier spécia-
lisé) qu’il revient de le réparer afin d’éviter tout danger.

Risques de blessure
■ Risque de suffocation et de blessures ! Ne laissez pas l’appareil et son emballage
à la portée des enfants ou des animaux.
■Risque de brûlure ! Soyez vigilant en présence de vapeur et d’eau chaudes ! Évitez
tout contact avec la vapeur s’échappant du bec verseur. N’ouvrez pas le couvercle
pendant que l’eau chauffe. Avant de remplir à nouveau l’appareil, laissez-le refroidir !
■ Ne déplacez pas l’appareil pendant que l’eau chauffe.
■ Soyez vigilant lorsque l’eau chaude que contient l’appareil est en mouvement.
■ Déversez lentement et prudemment l’eau bouillante sans basculer trop abruptement
l’appareil.
■ Afin que personne ne risque de trébucher, faites cheminer le cordon d’alimentation
de sorte qu’il ne gêne pas le passage. Ne laissez pas le cordon d’alimentation pendre
en bordure de table ou le long de plans de travail à la cuisine. Quelqu’un pourrait y
rester accroché et entraîner ainsi l’appareil.
Risque d’électrocution
■ Branchez l’appareil uniquement sur une prise installée de façon réglementaire et
mise à la terre. La prise doit rester facilement accessible même après le branche-
ment de sorte à pouvoir rapidement couper l’alimentation de l’appareil. La tension
du secteur doit correspondre aux caractéristiques techniques de l’appareil. Utilisez
uniquement des rallonges conformes dont les caractéristiques techniques corres-
pondent à celles de l’appareil.
■ Ne plongez jamais la bouilloire, la station de base, le cordon d’alimentation et la fiche
secteur dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide et assurez-vous qu’ils ne risquent pas de
tomber dans l’eau ou d’être mouillés.
■ Si la station de base devait tomber à l’eau, coupez immédiatement l’alimentation
électrique. N’essayez pas de l’extraire l’eau tant qu’elle est encore raccordée au
réseau électrique !
■ Ne saisissez jamais la bouilloire, la station de base, le cordon d’alimentation et la
fiche secteur à mains humides lorsque ces composants sont raccordés au réseau
électrique.
■ Pour remplir, vider ou nettoyer la bouilloire, vous devez la retirer de sa station de
base. Prenez cependant soin à ne pas faire pénétrer d’eau au niveau des contacts
en face inférieure de la bouilloire.
■ Arrêtez l’appareil et retirez la fiche de la prise de courant si un dysfonctionnement
survient en cours d’utilisation ou en cas d’orage.
■ Pour débrancher l’appareil, tirez toujours sur la fiche, jamais sur le cordon !
■ Ne tirez pas et ne portez pas la station de base par son cordon d’alimentation.
■ Utilisez l’appareil uniquement dans une pièce fermée. N’utilisez pas l’appareil dans
un environnement très humide.
■ Veillez à ce que le cordon d’alimentation ne soit ni pincé, ni coincé, ni posé sur des
bords saillants et qu’il n’entre pas en contact avec des surfaces chaudes (risque de
rupture du cordon).
■ Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez que l’appareil ne présente aucun dommage. L’appa-
reil doit uniquement être utilisé s’il ne présente aucun dommage apparent.
