3. Fix to the wall the bottom of the case, passing the connecting cables
4. Connect the four wires of the RS485 bus to the control panel and (optional) the external contact

5. Lay the keyboard on the case, gently placing orderly the cables inside avoiding them from being
pinched.
6. Press gently the keyboard on the low corners

The display will light up when any key is pressed.
At rest the keyboard decrease its light to minimum for energy saving this happens after the
time set in T

The display usually shows (example 1)
•date and time
•system status (arming, disarming…)
When in programming menu (keyboard or control panel) the display shows the options and
their values (example 2).
In case of events or alarms the display shows the combined alert and it is possible to read
the event log (example 3, see control panel manual).

Backlit display

The keys will light up when any of them is pressed. This is for
•facilitate the visualization
•show active functions (example system armed Total F1 solid on)
At rest the keyboard switch off the keys for energy saving (except the one of active
functions) this happens after the time set in T

Control panel programming is possible ONLY via DVT-LCD keyboards set as “program

(see software manual). By factory settings the control panel use the keyboard with address 1 as

To program the control panel (only for installer)

Disarm
To disarm the system

The panel will disarm the system.
Coercion
This function allow to send a silent alarm signal (tele-alarm) when the user has to disarm the system
under threat.
How to use this function
•Each normal disarming after the disarm command to the system press one of the directional
keys on the keyboard within the “coercion time” programmed.
•In case of threat after the disarm commando to the system DO NOT press any directional
key, leave the “coercion time” to end. When the “coercion time” is finished will start a “tele-
alarm” silent call

Error when igit a co e (False Co e)
The control panel check if user makes three errors when digit a code. After the third error, at the
fourth attempt
•all keyboards are blocked for 2 minutes and the display shows “Block Keyboard”
•a “False code” SMS and a “Theft” call are sent (more details on user manual)
•is possible to enable the internal siren sound (see control panel manual). The siren sounds for
the “Siren Time”
If two errors are made it is required at least 15 minutes before set to zero the error count.
Panic
It is possible – if needed – attract attention making the internal siren sound (Panic function).

Opene oors
If this function is enabled in control panel, when a door or window remain opened the keyboard
shows the “” key blinking (red).
If – with the door opened – the system is armed, the control panel alerts with a vocal message *. At
this point it is possible to

Press again the “” key to cancel the arming and then close doors/windows.
•Press the “” key the control panel will be armed.
The opened doors will give immediate alarm if the “auto-exclusion opened zones” option is
enabled.

If an alarm occurred, at the disarming the system signals it by the blinking of one “F1

(the one corresponding to the arming type) and emitting some “beep”.
