Make sure you have a solid, level Foundation.
(Wood Deck, Patio Stones, Concrete Pad etc.)
Lay your 2 sauna floor ieces together.
With 2 eo le, stand u the 2 ieces.
Make sure floor ieces are flush and screw
together using 2 ½” screws.
Turn the assembled floor so the door is situated
where you want it.
The Floor will be marked where the door is to
be laced.

Start by Laying out and organizing your Kota
sauna ieces.

Grab the glass door assembly and have your
hel er hold in where “door” is marked on floor.
Use 2 ½” screws to secure the 2 anels
together as shown.
Screw anels together from each anel as
shown above.
Re eat rocess for remaining wall sections. Make sure that numbers on to of anels are the
same as numbers marked on floor
Place a wall section flush to corner of Door Panel
section.

When wall is com lete, make sure wall is flush to
floor and secure to floor using 2 ½” screws
Lay out and organize the wall trim ieces. The trim ieces are “numbered” and should
match the numbers on to of wall anels.
Make sure the trim ieces are flush with inside
of wall and secure with 2 ½” screws.
Screw trim ieces together and into wall
working your way around the sauna.
(Re eat rocess until all trim ieces are attached)
Re eat rocess for all sides.

Place 2” screws into the re-drilled holes in the
corner ca ieces and slide into lace.
Continue rocess for all corners. Screw the trim ieces to the corner ca s using
2 ½” screws.
(Re eat rocess for remaining corners)
With a hel er, lace the entrance roofing iece
like shown.
Run a “bead” of silicone in between roof anels
to hel kee any water out.
Secure with screws as shown above.

Screw the trim iece to the roof from
underneath anel using 2 ½” screws.
Continue rocess for remaining roof anels.
Using a ste ladder, lace to roof ca on eak.
When level secure with 2 ½” screws.
Place the first roof anel u to the entrance roof
iece.
With your hel er holding anel in lace, screw
anels together using 2 ½: screws.

Place ridge ca u tight to to ca and secure
to roof anels with 2” screws.

Re eat rocess for inside towel holder/door
handle.
Carry the benches and su ort brackets inside
sauna.
Lay out the 3 bench seats where they will be
ositioned.
Re eat for remaining ridge ca s. Center outer door handle and secure into lace
with 2” screws.

Place the su ort brackets where the seats will be
situated.

Using the re-drilled holes, screw brackets into
wall with 2 ½” screws. Re eat for all seats and
brackets.
Once all seats and brackets are screwed into
osition, lace ½” screws into the re-drilled
holes on bench wall.
Screw into lace.
Re eat rocess for the remaining 2 bench walls.
Place seats on to of brackets. Secure the brackets to the bench seats from
underneath with 1 ½ ” screws.

Position bench ste s snugly against bench walls.
Position back rests in desired location.

To install the electric heater, Place heater on to
of the included box of sauna rocks to get the
correct height for installation.
Attach brackets to wall of sauna with 1 ½” screws. Place heater on wall brackets.
Remove the rotective film from the heater
before use.
* Wash the rocks thoroughly before lacing them into
the heater
S ace rocks out evenly in to of heater.
*O erate the heater for an hour with the sauna door
fully o en to burn off any residual coating from the
manufacturing rocess before using.
Mark the lacement of the heater brackets.

Stand the 2 sides of the heater guard on edge
with re-drilled holes on the bottom.
Screw front guard su ort to either side using
(2) – 2 ½” screws er side.
Place heater guard around electric heater.
*Make sure heater guard is level before securing.
Screw guard to wall using 2 ½” screws
Using a 4” Drill bit, drill a hole on wall under
heater a roximately 5” from floor.
Now sim ly lace the vent in the hole from the
outside.
Assemble remaining front su ort to the 2 ends
in the same manner as revious ste .

Using su lied screws, secure vent on the
inside of sauna.
Secure the vent cover ieces with 1 ½” screws as
shown.

Ensure the vent cover slides freely before
screwing in tightly
To install towel hanger, sim ly lace where
desired and secure with 1 ½” screws in the re-
drilled hole
Place ca lug in hole in ceiling and secure with 2
½” screws.
Secure ca cover with 2 ½” screws using re-
drilled holes.

WARRANTY
Dundalk LeisureCraft Inc. warrants our saunas against defects in materials and workmanshi under
normal/residential use for a eriod of five (5) years, as a licable, from the date of recei t of the roduct by
the original end-user consumer.
This warranty does not a ly to normal wear and tear and/or natural weather conditions.
This warranty does not cover regular required maintenance of the sauna, (eg. Tightening bands on the barrels,
cleaning or staining the sauna) refer to your sauna assembly manual for maintenance guidelines.
This warranty does not cover misuse or negligence and the manufacturer and associated retailers are not liable
for any injury or damage caused by the roduct.
HOW TO TAK A SAUNA
1. Pre-heat your sauna to the desired tem erature (usually between 80-100°C)
2. While it’s warming u , take a nice hot shower.
3. Enter the re-heated sauna, relax and allow your body to ers ire in the soft dry heat. Do not throw water
on the rocks during the first art of the session.
4. Cool off with a cold shower or a quick swim in a lake or ool.
5. Re-enter the sauna and s rinkle water on the rocks. This will increase humidity to about 30% to assist in
ers iration.
Half a cu every 5 minutes should be enough. Too much water will just cool off the rocks and you’ll get less
steam.
6. After a 20-30 minute sauna, cool off in the shower or lake or ool.
7. Re eat this sauna/cold shower rocess as often as desired.
8. It is im ortant to drink during your sauna session and even a light snack.
9. Like bathing in a hot tub, excessive ex osure can be harmful to a erson’s health. Peo le with oor health
should consult their hysicians before using the sauna.

MAINTAINING YOUR SAUNA AFT R INSTALLATION
1. Wash the layer of rock dust off of the sauna rocks before using them.
2. When your sauna is set u and working you should “break-in” the sauna before using it for the first time.
Turn it on its highest setting and kee it like that for about 1 hour. This is recommended to burn off any oils and
im urities from manufacturing, and it also “cures” the woodwork. After about ¾ hour, slowly our about one
litre of cold water on the rocks. It should all turn to steam and not come out of the bottom of the heater. If it
does, you’re ouring too fast.
3. It is considered good sauna etiquette that guests take a shower with soa and sit on a double-layer of
terrycloth towels to revent ers iration from getting onto the benches and walls where the oils will
accumulate over time.
After each use, leave the door fully o en for the wood to dry out. Duck boards can be lifted u to air out if
necessary.
4. Under normal conditions, a slight wash of the floor and benches several times a year will maintain its
cleanliness.
The cedar benches can be washed with a mild solution of liquid cleaner and water to remove any buildu and
ers iration stains from the wood. Never use ammonia or harsh cleaners as they can turn the wood gray.
5. Good care should be taken of the wooden bucket and ladle. They should be stored u side down to romote
drying.
6. The eridotite sauna rocks may need to be re laced in 6 to 10 years de ending on severity and frequency of
use. In many cases, the rocks could last u to 15 years.
7. Do NOT use commercial wood sealers from local lumberyards or hardware stores. These are not designed to
withstand the sauna tem eratures or humidity!
