4Device Description
The T-Rack™ Manifold II forms the interface between the T-Rack™ (see corresponding DuPont™ product documentation)
and the plant's connecting pipework (main pipelines).
The hydro dynamically optimized design of the T-Rack™ Manifold is tailored to the specific requirements of the T-Rack™.
Depending on the total number of modules per rack, T-Rack™s are connected either to just one side or to both sides of
the T-Rack™ Manifold.
The T-Rack™ Manifold II is available in two materials depending of the number of modules and the configuration:
•Glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP):
•Single-sided connection (≤ 60 80 m²-modules)
•Double-sided connection (60 > 80 m²-modules ≤ 120)
•Polyethylene (PE):
•U-Shape type (64 > 80 m²-modules ≤ 120)
DuPont™ applies cutting-edge coating technology to deliver outstanding performance for UF components at C5
corrosion protection level according to DIN EN ISO 12944. C5 coating is utilized for T-Rack™ Manifold metal frame parts
to meet special design and construction requirements in even the most demanding environments.
NOTE
The T-Rack™ Manifold is not designed to be associated with a
T-Rack™.
NOTE
Valves are not part of the standard scope of supply but can be offered on
demand.
Threaded rods, bolts, nuts and/or washers necessary for mounting the
valves are not part of the scope of supply.
NOTE
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
The longitudinal headers of the T-Rack™ systems are connected to the T-
Rack™ Manifold.
The connections between the T-header, the main pipes, CIP stations,
venting, measuring and draining are made by flanges.
Between the connections from the T-header to the Feed header top and
Feed header bottom are butterfly valves (wafer type) installed.
Valve options are available from DuPont™ for all the connections with
the exception of the connections for measuring, draining and venting.
