•Should any solid object or liquid fall
intothe player,unplug theplayer,and
haveit checked by qualified personnel
beforeoperating itany further.

On Operation
•If the playerisbrought directly froma
cold to awarmlocation,or isplaced
inavery damproom,moisturemay
condense onthe lens inside the CD
player section. Should thisoccur,the
player will not operate properly.In
this case, remove theCD and wait
aboutan hourfor themoisture to
evaporate. If the player has not been
usedforalongtime,setitinthe
playback mode to warmitup for afew
minutesbefore inserting acassette.
•Thisplayer isdesigned to be played
on astableno vibration position.If
you bumpthe set duringCD play,the
musicwill stop orskip for afew
seconds. This isnormalfor thistype
of player.
On Placement
•Donotleave the playerin alocation
nearaheat source,orinaplace
subject todirect sunlight, excessive
dustor mechanical shock.
•Donot placethe player onan inclined
orunstable place.
•Donotplace anythingwithin 1inch
ofthebackofthecabinet.The
ventilation holesmust not be covered
for the player to operate properlyand
prolong the life of itscomponents.
•Sinceastrongmagnet isused forthe
speakers, keeppersonalcredit cards
usingmagneticcoding or springwound
watches away fromthe speakersto
prevent possible damage fromthe
magnets.
•If the player isleft in acar parked in
the sun, be sure to choose alocation
in the car where theplayerwill notbe
subjected tothe direct raysof the sun.
On PowerSources
•For battery operation, use 8size “C”
batteries. Werecommend alkaline
batteriesforlongerlife.
•When the batteries willnotbeused
for afewweeks or more, remove
themto avoid damage thatcan be
causedby battery leakage or
corrosion.
