levels.
Maximumbatterypowerconsumptionhappensat maximumsettings.Typicallife for2
size AA”alkalinebatteriesisabove8hoursofcontinuousCD play.
NOTE: You mayuserechargeablebatterieson thisset. However,because
rechargeablebatteriesgenerallyhavelowervoltage(1.2voltsinsteadof
1.5volts).Yourplayingtimewillbemuchless thannormalfreshalkaline
batteries.
PowerthisCDplayer byinserting 2size AA”freshalkaline batteries,orusingthe
provided Cigarette Lighter Adaptor.
TIPSONBATTERYUSE
Reversing polaritieswill damage the batteriesand possiblyyour set. Be sure to
follow polarity(+and -)asindicated.
Do not mixdifferent typestogether (Alkaline, Carbon-Zinc, Nickel-Cadmiumetc.),
or oldbatterieswithnew ones.
When not inusefor an extended period of time, or whileinternalbatterieswill not
be used, removethem to prevent possibleacidleakage or corrosion resulting in
damage to your player.
When the batterieshavebecomedischarged, theymustbe disposed of inasafe
manner that complieswithall applicablelaws.
Installation of batteriesshouldonlybe done byan adult (for safety).
1. USINGWITHBATTERIES
Insert 2size AA”alkaline batteriesaccording to
the +and -markingson the bottomof the set.
2. AC ADAPTOR (OPTIONAL)
WhiletheCDisplaying,if thealkalinebatteriesareweakor discharged, thissymbol
”showsor flashesinthe display,then the power automaticallyturnsoff. If this
occurs,replaceboth alkaline batteries(alsoif the displaydoesnot show anything, the
batteriesare dead).

Youcan alsopowerthisCD playerbyconnecting an optionalACadaptor. Beforeyou
buyanoptionalACAdaptor,pleasenote, theonly ACADAPTOR suitablefor thisplayer
is DC4.5V 600mA (orgreater),withpluscenterpolarity .Othersmaydamage
your player.Pleasecheck voltageand current(mA)beforebuying an AC ADAPTOR.
