A.Using theAC adaptor
Thisplayerissupplied withan ACadaptor
forpowering the unitand charging the
battery.
Insertthe ACadaptorplug tothe DC INjack
on the portable DVDplayerand connectthe
adaptortoawall outlet.
B.Using thecaradaptor(12V)
Insertthe caradaptorplug totheDCINjack on theportableDVDplayerandconnectthecar
adaptortothevehicle’s12Vaccessory/cigarettelightersocket,the caradaptorindicatorwill light
up.
CAUTION:
1.The included caradaptorisforusewiththisunitonly.Donotuseitwithotherequipment.

Workingconditionsandprecautionsfortherechargeablebattery
Newbatteriesshould be fullycharged beforeinitial use(about5hours).
Batteryshould be changed byan adultforsafety.
Batteryshould onlybe used and charged when temperaturesarebetween 32-100OF.
Neverputthe batteryin fireorwater.
Donotexposethe batterytohigh temperaturesorstorein hot, sunnyplaces.
Donotshortthe batteryterminals.
Donotopen the battery.
When the batteryisweak,the lowpowericon ” will appearon the LCD screen and
thenthe powerautomaticallyturnsoff. If thisoccurs,pleaseusetheACadaptortorecharge
the batteryorplaythe seton ACpower.
NOTE: When inserting the batterywhile the setisACpowered orcarpowered,therewill be a
delayofseveral secondsbeforethe LEDlightsup.Thisisbecausethe batterycharging

2SlidetheDVDplayer’sPOWERswitchtotheONposition,the DVDlogo (start-uppicture)will
appearonthescreen.
1Lift the LCD screen.
3PresstheOPENbutton on theDVDplayertoopen thedisc
door.Placeadiscgentlyonthe traywiththelabelside up,make
surethediscisseatedonthespindlebypressingdowninthe
centre,then closethe door.The DVDplayerstartstoread the
disc’stable ofcontents(thismaytakeafewseconds).
5Press the VOLUME+orVOLUME –button toadjustthe volume level.
6Press the BRIGHTNESS and COLOUR buttonstoadjustthe brightness and the colourof
the LCD screenifneeded.
NOTE1: Load the disc withthelabel side facing up,when
playingadouble-sided disc,loaditwiththe desired
playing side facedown.
NOTE2: NODISC”willshowin thedisplayifthe discisupside
downorthe discisbadlyscratched ordirty,itwill not
play.Pleaseclean itorchange the disc beforeuse.
Alsoyoucanbuyadisc polishertotrytorepairthe
scratched disc.
8Topausethe playback,press the OKbutton on the remoteorthe PLAY/PAUSE button
ontheplayer. Toresumeplayback,pressthe OKbutton onthe remoteorthePLAY/PAUSE
button on the playeragain.
NOTE1: During play,pressing the STOPbutton oncewill show PRESTOP ”in the

4Some discs willstartplayingautomatically,andotherswilldisplaythedisc contentsmenuon
thescreen.Ifthemenu isshown,usethe ( , , & )directionbuttonstohighlightyour
selectionandpresstheOKbuttontoconfirm,otherwiseyoumaypress play.
10 Toaccess the disc menu ortitle menu duringDVDplay,press the MENU orTITLEbutton.
11 Remembertoshutoffthe playerbyslidingthe POWERswitchtothe OFF position when
the movie finishesplaying.
