POWER SUPPLY
You can power this dual screen portable DVD player byconnecting the AC adaptor,the car
adaptor or byusing the internal rechargeable battery.
A. Using the AC adaptor
This player issupplied with an AC adaptor forpowering the unit and charging the battery.
This adaptor works with anyhousehold voltage(even overseas)from 100 voltsto 240 volts.
1.Viewing movies onlyonthe mainunit Main Unit
2.Viewing movies on themain unit andthe slave unit at thesametime
Insert the AC adaptor plug to the DC IN jack on the slaveunit and connect the adaptor to awall
outlet. Insert one end of the supplied DC powercord to the slaveunit’sDC OUT jack and the
other to the main unit’sDC IN jack.

on the main unit and connect the adaptor to a

B. Using the car adaptor (12V)
Insert thecaradaptor plugto the DCIN
jack on the main unit and connect the car
adaptorto the vehicle’s12V accessory/
cigarette lighter socket, thecar adaptor
indicator will light up.
Thisplayer issupplied with a12V car adaptor for powering the unit and recharging the battery
while in avehicle that hasa12V power system.

Insertthe caradaptor plugtothe DC IN jackontheslaveunitandconnect thecar adaptortothe

Insert one end of the supplied DC power cord tothe slaveunit’sDC OUT jack and the other to
the main unit’sDC IN jack.
CAUTION:
1.The included car adaptor isfor usewith this unit only.Do not useit with other equipment.
2. Use this unit onlywith the included car adaptor,using with other car adaptorscould damage
the unit and the unit may not work.
3.Do not operate this unit or view video movies while driving avehicle.
4. If some linesappear on the screen during the startup of the vehicle, pleaseturn the unit off
and turn it on again after the vehicle isrunning.
5.Placethe unit in aproper position for viewing.
6.When the inside of the cigarette lighter socket is dirty with ashes or dust, the plug section may
become hot or notworkduetopoor contact. Be suretocleanthe cigarettelighter socketbeforeuse.
7.Disconnectthecaradaptor fromboththeunitandthe cigarettelightersocket whenthe
batteryisfully charged and the unit isnot in use.

REMOTECONTROLOPERATION
NOTE:
•Point the remote control unit from less than 20feet (6 m) from the remote sensor and within
about 60o of the front of the unit.
•Batteriesshould be changedbyan adult for safety.
•Reversing polaritieswill damagethe batteriesand possiblyyour remote.Besuretofollow
polarities(+and –)asindicated.
•Do not mix different typesof batteriestogether (Alkaline, Carbon-Zinc, Nickel-Cadmium
etc.), or old batterieswith new ones.
•When thebatteries havebecomedischarged,theymustbedisposedofinasafemanner that
complieswith allapplicable laws.
•When the batteriesbecomesweak, the operating distanceof the remote control decreases
and you will need to replacethe batteries.
•When the remote control isnot to be used foralong time (2 months or more), removethe
batteries to avoid possible damage that may be caused bybatteryleakage.
•Avoid keeping the remote control in extremelyhot or humid locations.
•Donot point bright lightsat the remotecontrol sensor (likelaser pointers).
•Do not placeobjects between the remote control unit and the remote control sensor.
•Do not usethis remote control while using theremote control unit of anyother equipment at
the same time, the signalsmay mix.

C. Using the built-in rechargeable battery
The built-in rechargeable batteryissuitable for portable usewhich allowsyou to enjoythe
unique functions of the main unit outdoors.
Remembertochargethebatteryfullybeforeinitialuse (about5hours).
NOTE: Thebuilt-in rechargeable battery only providespowerto the main unit. The slaveunit
cannotplayonthebuilt-inrechargeable battery.
Tocharge the battery
1.Connect the DVDplayer and the power sourceaspoint Aand point Bonthe previous
pages. After 5seconds,the battery LEDindicatorwill turnonandstarttoflash.
2.The batteryLED indicator will flash when thebatteryischarging and remain steadilyon
when the batteryisfully charged.
3.Chargingtime isabout 5hours.Afully chargedbatterydeliversabout 2.5hoursofviewing time.
4.When the batteryisweak, the low power icon ” will appear on the LCD screen and
after that the power automatically turns off. If thisoccurs, please usethe AC adaptor or car
adaptor to recharge the batteryor playthe set on AC power.

1. PLAYING ADISC
3SlidetheDVD playermain unit’sPOWER switch totheONposition,the DVD player startsto
readthe disc’stableofcontents (thismay takeafewseconds). theDVDlogo(start-up
picture)will appear on thescreen.
1Open themainunit by separatingthe top andbottom cabinets at the open mark (refer to diagram 1).
2Placeadisc gentlyon the tray with the labelside up, make sure the disc isseated on the
spindle bypressing down in the center (referto diagram 2), then closethe door (refer to
diagram 3).
5Press the VOLUME +or VOLUME –button to adjust the volume level.
6PresstheSCREEN ON/OFF buttonontheremote control, thenpresstheleft and right
direction buttonsto adjust the brightness andthe color of the LCD screen if needed. You
canalsopress theBRIGHTNESSand COLORbuttonson theslaveunit toadjustthe
slaveunit’sLCD screen.
NOTE 1: Load the disc with the label side facingup, when playing adouble-sided disc,
load it with the desired playing side face down.
NOTE 2: NO DISC”will show in the display if thedisc is upside down or the disc isbadly
scratched or dirty,it will not play.Pleaseclean it or change the disc before use. Alsoyou
can buyadisc polisher to try to repair the scratched disc.
8To pausethe playback, press the OK button on the remote control or the PLAY/PAUSE
button on the main unit. Toresume playback, press the OK button on the remote
control or the PLAY/PAUSE button on the player again.
NOTE 1: During play,pressing the STOPbutton oncewill show PRE -STOP ”in the
display,if you press the STOPbutton thesecond time, the displaywill show ”,and now
your system isin the full STOP mode.
NOTE 2: Leaving the set in the stop mode for alonger time will drain the batterythe same
asduring normal play,remember to shut offthe power after use.

1.If you want to keep the main unit working and turnoff the slaveunit, just turn the slaveunit’s
POWER ON/OFF switchto the OFF position. If you want to turn off the main unit and without
interrupting the slaveunit, just turn the DISPLAYON/OFF switchon the main unit to OFF
position and reducethe volume to lowest point.
2.The slaveunit isjust asecond screen and speakers. Except for adjusting the color,brightness
andthe volume,anyother specialfunctiononthe disccan only beoperatedoradjustedonthe
main unit (nottheslaveunit).
3.This player has ascreen saver which will display abouncing DVD logo if no video is played
for awhile,pressanybutton onthe remote or on the main unit, thescreensaver will
disappear.

NOTE: This operation works onlywith DVD discs on which multiplesubtitle languages are
recorded. Some DVDs haveno subtitles, some may have5or more. If no subtitlesare

4.CHANGINGSUBTITLE LANGUAGE (DVDONLY)
You can select adesired subtitle quicklyand easilywith the SUBTITLE button on the main unit

3.SELECTINGAUDIOMODE
IfaDVDdisc contains aMulti-Audiosoundtrackfeature,youcanselectthedesiredaudio
language bypressing the AUDIO button on the remote control repeatedlyduring play,playback
statuswill be displayed on the screen. The AUDIO button canalsoselect director’scuts
dialogue and other disc dialogue.
NOTE2:This DVDplayerdoes not support DTSdecoding.For discs withDTSdecoding,
please press the AUDIO button to select another audio output mode, such as
AC-3 or until youhear thesound.
NOTE1: Ifyoupressthe AUDIO buttonfor severaltimes, butthedesiredlanguageisnot
