User and Safety Instructions

Intended Use
The product is intended for non-commercial use for tightening and loosening screws and fasteners.
The device must be operated according to the guidelines in the operating instructions.
Any unintended use or any activities on the device not described in these operating instructions are an
unauthorized misuse outside the manufacturer’s legal liability limits and warranty.
General safety information
• The user of the device must have read and understood these operating instructions prior to its first
use for save handling of this device.
• Always keep the operating instructions.
• If you sell or pass on the device, you must also pass on these operating instructions.
• Please note all safety information! If you ignore the safety information, you will jeopardize yourself
and others.
• Keep the device away from children and unauthorized persons.
Operation/workplace
• Always comply with the all applicable domestic and international safety, health, and working
regulations.
• The device may only be put into operation if no defects are found when it is checked. If a part is
defective it must be replaced before the device is used again.
• Individuals not familiar with the operation of the device should not be allowed to operate the device.
• People who do not have the physical, mental or sensory abilities to operate the tool carefully and
safety may not be permitted to use it.
• Exercise caution and only work when in good condition: If you are tired, ill, or under the influence of
alcohol, medication or other substances, do not use the device as you are not in a condition
considered to use it safely.
• Make sure that flammable or hazardous materials or materials are kept out of the immediate vicinity.
• Do not overload the device. Only use the device for its intended light-duty purpose.
Device-specific safety information
• The device may only be used, if it is perfectly in working order. If the device or a part thereof is
defective, it must be replaced prior to the next use.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly when working with the device.
• Keep the handles dry and free of dirt, grease, and debris.

Read and observe the operating instructions before commissioning.
Handling rechargeable devices
• Danger of fire!
Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.
Keep battery away from metal objects that could cause short circuiting when not in use. There is a
risk of injury and fire.
• Prior to connecting the charger, verify that the power outlet meets the power requirements of the
charger. Use only properly grounded and installed outlets. Do not manipulate plugs and adapters.
• The fuse must be a residual current circuit-breaker with a measured residual current of no more
than 30 mA.
• Always switch off the device prior to charging the battery.
• Never switch on the device during the charging process.
• Only charge the battery in a low-traffic area where it will not be disturbed.
• Fluid can leak from the battery when used incorrectly, usually due to high or low temperature, or
coming in contact with other liquids. Battery fluid may result in skin irritations and burns--avoid
contact! In the event of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Immediately seek the aid of
a physician in the event of eye contact or further irritation.

Charging the Rechargeable Battery
•The battery must be fullycharged prior to the first use
(Charging period: Technical data–P.7).
• Charge up the product by connecting it to the charger (P.2, item2).
Risk of damages to the device!
Excessively activating the on-off switch can damage the battery.
Operation
–Place the bit into the tool bit holder (1) (P.2, item2).
–Set the desired rotation direction on the rotation direction reversing switch(P.3, item4).
–Set the required torque via the torque controller(2) in increments of 1 to 9.
–The handle can be locked in two different positions. Do this by holding down the release button(3)
and rotating the handle.
–Press and hold the switch to activate motor
Risk of damages to the device! The rotation direction reversing switch may only be
operated when the device is not in use
Disposal
Please abide to your local regulations for disposal of this tool, as it includes a rechargeable
nickel cadium battery that may need to be recycled.
